It still holds up. Carl is the glue that holds it all together and people will get mad that Urkel dominated later seasons, but there's a reason for that. Jaleel White, like Reginald VelJohnson is talented as hell. I never minded that it became mostly the Carl/Urlel show - something almost akin to Abbot and Costello or Laurel and Hardy. We'll never get another show like it again. Or Sanford. Or Mr Cooper. Or 227, Cosby, etc. Black shows back then were allowed to stand on their own two feet and not have every ep of every season revolve around how put upon they are and how awful white people are. I miss that era.

Hilarious ep. I love it when Urkel goes undercover. When he rips the bag of chips open cause they

Dave Coulier seems like an alright guy, but he's legit the enemy of comedy. None of his stuff is funny whether written for him or by him, and his Popeye impression is done way better by Robin Williams. He's apparently a ladies man though. You Oughta Know being about Uncle Joey is still frickin' hilarious.
                >Would she go down on you in

Do you remember the episode of Full House where Uncle Joey attempts to break into comedy but gets told he sucks and considers quitting, then his family convinces him he’s funny and should keep trying? His family members were buttholes for lying to him like that.
The Popeye impression sucked, but it would have been fine as a one off joke. So of course they had to do it every episode.

Yeah, he bombs in stand up but they convince him that doesn't matter. That his shitty impressions and woodchuck puppet are the height of hilarity. I mean, he really did make it in real life so he did something right. Who laughing now. No one.

Nah, he's a Joss Whedon level danger to girls/women on set. The kind of guy you don't trust around your wife, girlfriend, sister, or kids. Not some metoo chris angel mind freak bullshit. This is the real deal. Like I said he's hilarious, but after everything that's been bandied about around him I wouldn't trust him as far as I could throw him. Unless it's all bullshit, which it could be of course. Don't feel like searching up all that stuff I came across, but I went down a rabbit hole one day.
