Like any normal person who grew up after 1980 would think that Star Wars movie = big deal. So imagine you get cast to play the lead in a Star Wars movie. You would restructure your whole life and consciousness around it, you'd have plans within plans for how you are going to be established in the industry, be able to work on more personal projects, your name will even be USED to bring light to interesting smaller scale projects, so you can patronize writers/directors you like etc. All this is going to be downstream of the single big watershed of STAR WARS MOVIE, big break movie, movie that makes you a star.
Then the movie is a confusing horrible turd instead, and you end up doing TV movies within 5 or 10 years. Or dropping out of acting altogether. Imagine the shift in consciousness that must be. George Lucas and Disney really fricked up a lot of lives. If I were Hayden Christiansen or whatever this chick's name is, I would want to say to them "why couldn't you just make a normal fricking movie? Why did you have to do all THAT, whatever it was? A fricking child could write a Star Wars movie, in fact you HAD a perfectly good script dropped at your feet, and instead you chose to make all that? It was literally easier to succeed than to fail! You had to TRY to fail! And you took us all down with you!"
