DD and both Marvels are pretty boring creativity wise. The old ones just work because they were larger than life while I really wouldn't turn my head for the captain one walking down the street.

Carol is someone who has been defined by her own ego and self-esteem, which at her best means she's a strong and courageous heroine and at her worst means she's a rather crazy b***h who will do anything to force the world to love her. I mostly remember her in-between state that she was in for the longest time, of someone who understands they are a hot mess but really REALLY trying to be someone worthy of being liked, that I remembered most and kind of liked cause at least it meant the few times where her inner psycho got loose were really damn funny as a result.
