I wasn't aware of this guys' show until recently. I'm really digging into KT and the whole Mark Normand, Shane Gillis and the rest of the Austin group of comedians. Really good stuff. I'm sure some morons here with an avant garde sense of humour, living in their mothers' basement watching Norm Macdonald on repeat will beg to differ. I'd like to read on Cinemaphile's opinion on these guys and the KT show

Stand up comedy has always been shit but this is just embarrassingly bad
It's embarrassing because these guys only moved to Austin solely to follow Joe Rogan after Rogan got the massive Spotify deal and wanted less taxes to maximize the deal. They're still LA comics but are mainly dependent on Rogan to validate their careers. Tony is a pretty solid comedy writer but he's been trying to follow Rogan's career path.
you're a fricking idiot if you think the audience for Shane Gillis & Norm McDonald are worlds apart. For one thing, Shane is a huge Norm fan, so are most of these comedians, secondly, people who like good comedians like them regardless they just have to be good of which both Shane & Norm are.
Lastly, Tony Hinchcliff isn't funny and I only know about this show because I was expecting them to kill him rather than watching him die on stage by himself. He's lucky he's got funny friends, he's surviving of being owned.
They're also both fans of history and incorporate it into their material. I disagree about Tony though.

Yes Kill Tony is great. Its very satisfying to watch someone absolutely die on stage from their non comedy and Tony wrapping it up saying 'that was fricking awful, Jesus.'
What gets me is its so entertaining just about every time,now I skip the black guy and the morons, I can't watch that but for instance the recent Dr Phil episode was very good.
Its a good thing to put on with a girl too, the only time I did I totally fricked this girl I met it was choice, I'd have to reassure her I was laughing at the show not her.
One thing I noticed about this group of comedians is they're big South Park fans and right leaning which is insane really, but maybe expected when they're all millionaires and drive nice cars. Gertrudis is the only one I see who has any semblance of a social conscience, mentioning sweatshops in his latest special.
What is wrong about KT is that a lot of people who sign up think that racism and depraved sex is the only thing that you can joke about. There is a strand of humor on the show which seems to exclude things like plain silliness and surrealism, and intelligence / high brow but it is what it is
Weird that the only cultural thing that shows a mirror to young people, that delves into many strangers' lives about what they're doing and their relationships and life is Kill Tony. Amazing really that there is nothing for US youngsters. and its a deranged comedy show that does it. if you're an incel and feel totally isolated from anyone your age, watch KT.
