>I will prove to you that your destiny is not predetermined Neji!

>I will prove to you that your destiny is not predetermined Neji! I will become hokage! Yes, me! The nepo baby of the 4th hokage and a member of the elite ninja clan descendent from the first hokage! And also a junchuriki with the most powerful tailed beast! It would be completely unrealistic for someone like me to become hokage, but I will do it anyway!

I mean, Naruto wanted to be hokage because he thought that would bring him respect and recognition from his village, not that he would be the most powerful ninja.

Naruto never said destiny wasn’t real, just that you shouldn’t let the cards your dealt define you. Naruto could’ve turned evil like Nagato and Obito but didn’t. Neiji after this learns the truth about his father and it changes his views.

      >Naruto could’ve turned evil
he objectively created much more suffering by stopping madara's plan. He was selfish and evil, because he wanted to be hokage and rule over others.

How long can people realistically be in tsukuyomi for? Will they eventually starve to death? If everyone is trapped, then what happens when no one is reproducing and the human race just goes extinct in 50 years?

The plan is a short-term bliss with far-reaching consequences that Naruto knew would not be worth.

Everyone in the IT was gonna get turned into White Zetsu’s because of the great tree
Personally, I’d rather deal with everyday bullshit over getting to experience my wildest dreams for a bit, but then get turned into a gay albino tree man after a month

Neji's destiny was to die for the main clan like his father and he did that. Naruto's destiny was to be a great hero and he did that. They are both defined by their destiny.

      >just that you shouldn’t let the cards your dealt define you.
These statments are in conflict with each other. If destiny is real then everything dealt automatically defines you. You can't have destiny be real and also have the ability to defy it or have some kind of choice in the matter.

Nagato wasn't evil, he was 100% right. MAD was the only answer the shinobi world had to lasting peace before the alien bullshit. And the alien bullshit accidentally proved Sasuke right, since it provides a common foe for the entire shinobi world to hate.

You missed the point. It's not that people's fates are not predetermined, it's that no person can predetermine them for you.
Neji thought he had Naruto figured out because of his powerful eyes. He was wrong.

    Relevant Ratatouille quote:
    >In the past, I have made no secret of my disdain for Chef Gusteau's famous motto, "Anyone can cook." But I realize, only now do I truly understand what he meant. Not everyone can become a great artist; but a great artist *can* come from *anywhere*.

As someone who stuck with Naruto since the beginning:
Don't. If you do, just stick to the original and forget everything else afterwards. It's rightfully iconic, but still not as great as it should have been.

Every third episode is a sappy dragged out series of flashback clips. There are a handful of interesting happenings across maybe 300 episodes then it turns to complete unwatchable shit anyway

It's hilarious like most of anime, specially when concerning ninjas, assassination with efficiency and secrecy, both sides narrate with detail how their techniques work. In Naruto it gets to the point where they animate a chibi version of the characters to illustrate even more. It's like if show don't tell is an offence to these writers, we have to explain absolutely fricking everything. As if the main target audience is children or something.

JJK and Bleach did the whole "demon living within a protagonist" thing better than Naruto. Even before he befriended Kurama, nine tails was always more of a positive than negative for Naruto. It constantly bails him out in fights and saves his ass
    >Haku
    >Sasuke part 1
    >Orochimaru
    >Neiji
    >Pain
Naruto gets all his chakra and healing factor from Kurama. He’s nothing without it and the only reason he got it was because Minato had a bunch that Naruto would be the child of destiny. Nardo is useless on his own
