There's supposed to be two more seasons (read one season split into two) with Maxwell Atoms on board but the show has gone radio silent for about a year now.
Probably just sacrificed on Zaslav's bloody altar of tax writeoffs. These projects don't just get canceled; they have to basically destroy all evidence that they ever existed and swear the staff to secrecy for some fricking reason.
That's just depressing to look at.
Why is Jabberjaw a girl?
Half the cast was made into girls solely because all the HB girls, the few there are, are literally the same 2-3 characters over and over. Like, homie, all HB girls are either "Daphne", "Wilma" or "generic little girl", with only a couple exceptions.
I don't really blame them for making half the cast female, t.b.h., it'd be weird if the show only had like 3 girls total and they were all basically clones of each other.
Changing everyone's personalities was the real unexpected thing, but I think I'm pretty okay with most of the changes though I wish we got a nyuck-nyuck-nyuck at least once out of Jabberjaw, like a gag that that's what her laugh sounds like if she laughs too much.
Weird how people like spumdonor call it a betrayal when its more of a tribute.
Are there any industry insiders who can say what happened to this project? Most of the original team got laid off anyways, I'd just appreciate some closure, damnit.
Wey only know that S2 has crossovers with The Jetsons, The Brak Show and a Cartoon Cartoon crossover as potential series finale besides that no idea why they have been silent on Jellystone!
Another thing is that Greenblatt has a new show on development at Disney under the name Saachi & Ten about two sisters running a pet resort.
I finished binge watching it. Can't wait to see the next batch of episodes
