TLR2 already going through same type of delays as the first. First issue releasing in March now. Originally solicited for December. They had an excuse for the first series but this is admittedly annoying.

Why even fricking bother? I am not even kidding. You found your audience in kids who saw that movie and then you're just gonna say "frick them, let's redesign and cash in!"? Do they really not understand how obvious a mistake this is?

      >mutant mayhem designs
They're literally just the same exact designs the TMNT have had for 40 years, but gayer. Mutant Mayhem wasn't the colossal smash hit that "found an audience" that you pretend it is, moron.

All anyone really knows is that the future is less certain than it’s ever been–especially with Armaggon on a rampage to rewrite the past! How far back will they have to go to stop him? Longtime TMNT writer Sophie Campbell and superstar artist Vincenzo Federici continue telling one of the biggest TMNT stories yet on the last stop before #150!
I think Campbell is trying to reboot IDW TMNT, like Big 2 did.

My guess is either a total reset that starts with a new #1 (and goddamn IDW probably needs it) or they do something really stupid that every bad writer loves to do, and they introduce a multiverse where the comic then splits into numerous mini-series where different writers are given 3-6 issues to put their own spin on TMNT.
Worst case scenario is that they go and make Last Ronin canon

He and Waltz still leave a lot of unresolved mess in this comic. This comic has too many superfluous characters that need to be removed. Four turtle need some substantial character development.

            Anonymous

Campbell is still setting things up with this "Road to 150" stuff that is heavy on time travel and trying to change the past. There's also still no one lined up as Campbell's replacement, meaning IDW is running out of time to figure out what the frick they're doing. And lack of planning and good management is how the comic got so fricked up in the first place.

I refuse to believe that anyone cares about IDW TMNT anymore. The comics became so bad under Waltz once he ran out of milking nostalgia bait (especially reusing story arcs from Laird like North Hamtom) that it damaged and tarnished the early stories which again were sold on nostalgia baiting. Once Waltz needed to step up and truly commit to original material he fell apart with atrocious ideas like Hob being a terrorist who is inexplicably seen as hero despite him being evil and an abusive father to those shitty weasel c**ts who are shitty characters. The comic became a real mess.

And then later they hired that hideous troony homosexual who here's hoping he kills himself. The IDW TMNT comic should end with the whole universe destroyed for being too shitty. I doubt that it's selling well especially nowadays that they can't use Armageddon Game as a way to hide low sales.

I'm glad I had the good sense not to buy any of these comics, because this shit is 100% headed towards a time travel reboot and it's going to suck when it happens.

On the other hand, 10+ years of Waltz's bullshit will possibly be erased from continuity and that tickles me.

I stopped reading this a while after Campbell's run started, but before that I was reading anything TMNT IDW they put out, Universe and every mini-series.
So, what happened since then? Did they do anything else with Shredder being alive or Kitsune's family?

Some Mutant Town stuff happens that doesn't amount to much, because after 3 years of it, Armageddon Game starts and it's a clusterfrick that goes nowhere for almost the entire time, until the last couple issues where the TMNT and the Pantheon all job to Rat King, only for the MacGuffin sphere to fall into Kitsune's hand, she summons Chi You back to Earth, he literally explodes all of the remaining living Pantheon members in 'the Thin place' so they are just seemingly gone, but not dead.

Some drama happens and Donnie goes a little crazy trying to figure out how to stop the evil time eating shark, only to find out that he's the one who accidentally paradoxes it into existence. Now they're trying to time travel a solution into the story by issue #150

        Anonymous

This proves once again how pathetic the ninja turtles are. Crises are solved by other characters, even villains. The turtles are either incompetent or create new crises. Campbell and Waltz care more about the other characters than the protagonists.
