Nah anon, there are plenty great songs from bad movies that are loved and covered. >I don't want a miss a thing
Armageddon >The prayer
Quest for Camelot >Ben
Ben
I mean, it is kinda bad and I am saying this as someone who liked watching it as a kid so it's a guilty pleasure for me. But so much of the humor is just non sequitur pop culture references that aren't organically worked into the story or setting, it's just a whole lot of random stuff happening. With Shrek, the pop culture references were cleverly worked into their fantasy setting and you could tell Chicken Little was trying to mimic this in a pretty lazy way. And in addition to that, there are hardly any likable characters. Runt and Fish are kinda annoying, not incredibly so but they do sometimes overstay their welcome, the whole town is unlikable and full of weirdly same-y looking animals (they literally reuse the same model over and over again with slight changes in outfit and fur color for the townsfolk its actually pretty odd) And then you're left with Abby, who isn't unlikable but isn't that likable either unless you are really into the Abby x Chicken Little ship, and Chicken Little himself. Who you can kinda root for because he's such an underdog but outside of that doesn't have much going for him either.
I never understood that. The dad's arc was learning to trust his son, and the movie portrayed his actions before that as bad parenting. The movie also said he had no way of knowing how to connect with his son after his wife died.
I think people aren't satisfied with his arc. He's supposed to grow and become a better father, but his redemption never feels deserved. Either he needed to be less awful to begin with, or do more to prove he's a better father at the end.
Absolutely fair.
Though I saw it as he never knew how to connect with his son, and it turns out he just had to listen to him. But I suppose the fact it took all that to get them to have an honest talk with his son, does seem a little messed up.
>If bad thing wasn't bad, it would be liked more
Wow, what a hot take! It's absolutely spicy in here!
I meant the song specifically

This is such a strange movie, it really feels like it was made at Dreamworks and someone at Disney stole it.
You mean that wasn’t what happened?

This movie wasn't bad I dunno why people shit on it.
>Muh the dad didn't believe in the son, the dad was bad
Okay what else?
You get it

I think its a fun movie.
Maybe they should of stuck to the original idea about a camp cover up for a alien takeover.
Today I learned there's an album that has both Barenaked Ladies and Patti Labelle.
Patti does a good job on Stir it Up, I still like listening to that song
>tfw the porcupine from the trailer and is even on the box art only has one line
Two actually. But yeah, it's weird he appears like that just to have two throwaway lines.
Someone should make an animation with a different character using this song
