It's easy for Force ghosts to outstay their welcome. Anakin's story is over. He's dead. Even the OT had trouble navigating this with Obi-Wan. The EU letting Force ghosts go or otherwise using them sparingly was one of its smartest decisions. The biggest mistake they could make is having Anakin just show up to casually chat with Luke.

I just finished the season after other people kept telling me it was good. I can't say I was disappointed since that implies I had expectations going in - but I CAN say it was a waste of time. All of these Disney streaming universe shows, whether they be Star Wars or Marvel or what have you, it's like they only exist to set up future seasons and other spinoff shows that may or may not ever come out. So no plotlines or character arcs are really allowed to ever resolve because that would end a story that can be stretched out over the course of 10 more future shows.
But a story without an ending isn't really a story, is it? And that's what Ahsoka was. Decently well-produced, just-well-acted-enough content designed to introduce a bevy of new characters and locations to be used in future content. There's literally ZERO point to watching any of this stuff. It's arguably even worse than those garbo licensed fanfic novels from the 90s, since at least those had concise stories, trashy though they may be.
That's why Mando (S1 and 2) and Andor were good shows.
