If this show was a successful hit in it's day, why does it hardly get talked about anymore? I don't see Zoomers get nostalgic about it. Foster's, Chowder, and Flapjack get more nostalgic discussion by comparison

>If this show was a successful hit in it's day
According to who?
The fact it used to air all the time on Cartoon Network and had 52 episodes
all shows got 52 episodes you underage moron
Ed Edd n Eddy and SpongeBob didn't dumbass.
DAMN, it feels so fricking GREAT to own the pseuds, holy fricking SHIT.
Squirrel Boy, Hi Hi Puffy AmiYumi, Juniper Lee, and Class of 3000 came out around that 2004-2006 time frame and none of those got 52 half hours and never got as many reruns as Gym Partners did
A show not being as big a flop as the networks biggest flops does not make it a hit.
It just barely managed to get past the 52 episode limit, but that makes it no less based.
autism you have

How do you know that it's really the same anon and not just a dynasty of buffoons downloading each other's meme?
How the frick did it get those 4 extra episodes? Money laundering?
It's witchcraft, isn't it?
they probably were part of specials
monkey laundering
You have a very low bar for success.
>the episode where jake is locked adam's locker and cums over and over and over on his clothes
it got a bit weird
I think this show is like after school snacks you'll eat them but you don't need to tell people that you did
Also most of the jokes don't really work well.the Best you'll get from it as an adult is a light heh
Even at the time, I thought it was pretty mid, and I was a dumb 10 year old boy this show was made for. Better than Squirrel Boy at least.
All I can remember about it was the episode where adam says "he went ape on that guy" and the monkey has a complete meltdown like he said the n word and won't talk to him for the rest of the episode
It was revealed at the end that "going ape" is like the highest compliment a monkey can receive so he was insulted by adam giving it to someone else, or something, my memory is foggy
It didn't really have quite as much lasting appeal that shows like Foster's, Kids Next Door or Billy & Mandy had and the humor was pretty hit or miss.
The show came out on the peak of then-upcoming dark ages the network experienced.
This show was terrible and is rotting in obscurity like it deserves, alongside George of the Jungle and Iggy Arbuckle.
Idk but it's official flash game fricked hard. I played it for hours like it was a 2D Morrowind
It sucks ass now and it sucked ass back then
Whoever greenlit shows from 2005 to the end of the decade had terrible taste. There's a reason Adventure Time ushered in a new era.
It's because there nothing else but live-action shows at the time AT was greenlit. It literally had no competion, which is why its fans where butt-blasted when MLP:FiM came out.
And with The Powerpuff Girls wrapping up, Ben 10 was becoming CN's new big cash cow at that time, with merchandise, sequel shows and live action movies up the wazoo.
I was there and I swear there was almost always something better to watch during the same timeslot on disney or nick.
Like yeah I watched a few episodes but I remember watching a hell of a lot more Avatar The Last Airbender or Oban Star-Racers or other quality shows still airing at that time.
Hey, it has some cute waifus like the gazelle nurse or the horse girl
>horse girl
Did you mean the giraffe?
the only thing i know about this show is from what i can infer from all the porn my friend draws of it
except for the gay, i know they aint gay
I assume like Johnny Test, it was cheap as frick, so made a bunch.
Anyone who liked the show is a furry now anyway
>Anyone who liked the show is a furry now anyway
Or a shotacon.
>it was cheap as frick
I'm surprised this is the only post that mentions that.
It was funny, but once you get past the initial joke of "a human is sent to an animal school" there's really nothing memorable or innovative about it.
>foster’s
I thought people generally dislike or even hate it now, I mean I still like it but people only ever want to talk about hot Frankie is.
Imho this show is what I feel like is exactly what people that hate fosters think it’s like. That’s not a diss on it but it was mid as frick. Neat art direction but that’s it
>I don't see Zoomers get nostalgic about it.
m8 the only thing nostalgic about it was the fricking flash games on cartoonnetwork.com
ah flash
what a wonderful internet era
Yeah
Adam a cute.
i remember thinking Gym Partner is a Monkey and Camp Lazlo were like sister shows and thought they were equally as good too, worse than most of the classics that came before it but better than everything after besides Regular Show and Adventure Time (which is overrated in of itself)
Only nerds remember old cartoons. And they either gravitate towards something that excites them sexually or has fantastical scifi/fantasy world.
how about both
>Ginger+Kooky sidekick
Why is this such a common pairing in animation?
I remember watching this as a young kid, I'm 21 now.
But I distinctly remember that this was the show which taught me that TV shows could be bad.
Because holy shit did this show suck, man it was just awful
It wasn't that bad. If MGPAM the worst you've ever seen, then consider yourself lucky.
What ever happened to the creators of the show, anyway?
They developed and were story editors for the Littlest Pet Shop cartoon of 2012.
After this, they developed the Littlest Pet Shop series and appear to be working on an adaptation of The Gumazing Gum Girl.
I don't rememeber it well, it did try to be a weird cartoon, too bad most things are in a £20 subscription service to watch stuff like this
Great theme song though.
>was acknowledged by CN for the first time in years in honor of the 30th anniversary (the entire series was uploaded in high quality on itunes)
>johnny bravo didn't get shit, nor was it acknowledged in any way
What the frick
Johnny Bravo is "problematic" because the people in charge of judging that use checklists instead of brains.
It's too racist
It was not a successful hit in its day, in fact it only started getting good once they hit the cancel button and the staff decided to get a little more daring.
There was definitely something wrong with Henry Armadillo.
The Narwhal Marco was my favorite character and I used to imagine myself hanging out with him as narwhal buddies on the polo team
I watched most episodes of this show and I can’t remember a single thing about it besides the fact that I watched it
