>make millions of dollars barely working

>bang young dumb fame-hungry bawds
I would hardly ever use the internet tbh senpai
>barely working
chud take
>standing in front of a camera and pretending to be somebody else is 10 000x harder than framing the roof of a house because that's what the pay difference is like
you couldn't do it
>sticking bits of wood together to make a triangle is difficult and not something that a 3 year old could do
where are the 3 yo building houses then? a 3 yo can be an actor
you answered your own question. even a 3 year old knows he's better paid being an actor.
apparently roof triangle makers lack the wisdom even a 3 year old might have
>where are the 3 yo building houses then?
africa. they use poop as a building material. you never seen pics of Wakanda? thems lil baby Blacks are advanced space ayylium 3D poo-printers. look at all the poopscrapers in Wakanda
The quality movies we'd get from you acting, ah yes.
>make gorillians of dollars for just existing
>be attractive and get insane amount of privileges to the Nth degree of totally crazy bonkers bananers
>get locked down via shotgun wedding to some israeliteess I don't even remember banging
Where the frick did my life go so wrong? I used to be happy.
Remember: the more insufferable you are to her the faster it ends and the more your kids will like you when you divorce
I envy more normal people that are super rich than celebrities. They have all the money with none of the downsides. Super rich people get up to the same exact stuff that celebrities do.
They make a frick ton of money, but I wouldn’t say they barely work. Acting seems kinda shit if it wasn’t for the insane pay and celebrity. 15 hour days doing the same few scene over and over and homosexualy strict diets you can’t deviate from seems kinda shit. and that’s assuming you’re actually making good money, most actors don’t make shit. Seems like a shit gig if you’re not a narcissist
They have to study once they get the role (and most actors do have good to great working ethics and dedication in this regard) but during actual filming they spend most of the day dicking around (sometimes literally).
The actual grueling part of acting is fighting for roles, going to casting sessions, making phone calls, ingratiating oneself to directors, being rejected and so on. Even big names go through that with very very rare prestige exceptions (Cate Blanchett for instance)
James McAvoy had a quote from over a decade ago about how current filming schedules basically prevent actors from having a life outside shooting, which then doesn't give them an oppurtunity to be "real people" with lived experiences that inform their acting. Kind of gives perspective about why acting feels so much less personable that it did just 20 years ago, because actors aren't allowed to be people anymore.
This is the case with literally every profession, the difference is they make millions to play pretend and gripe about it
Medicine is that way, busines is that way
Frick when I was a grocery store manager I worked 6 12s and got calls at 2am
>current filming schedules basically prevent actors from having a life outside shooting, which then doesn't give them an oppurtunity to be "real people"
Interesting remark. You do hear some actors come across as robotic and insincere, not least because woke vigilantism has dumbed down public discourse.
The irony is that this expectation of fake, theatrically inoffensive personas made it less likely that actors are witty or even guarded because there is a populist expectation that they'll be chummy, shallow aw-shucks types.
>actors aren't allowed to be people anymore.
A considerable amount of their time is now occupied by the social media/internet moneymaking machine, from publicity to pressers (which have increased exponentially since now the media includes more sites/news sources and more countries to take into account).
Best famous is author famous
>loads of money
>hardly if ever bothered in public
>if your books appeal to women they’ll still want to meet you
Best of all worlds really, unless you have fetal alcohol syndrome like a certain author.
I think being famous for being a pretender is cringe. I'd rather be known for something badass like first man to step foot on another planet
We love Jenna so she shouldn’t be scared to browse Cinemaphile
the comments would destroy me but then again, i prefer to not be noticed and would never willingly be in the spotlight anyway
celebrities are usually the opposite
I would post here if i was a director. I would tripgay and everything
that'd be awesome. tripgay as frick and be an annoying shithead, give away the tripcode just to confuse people but still post under it anyawy
I would post here with the cover of anonymity and make up stupid stories about myself and my work. I would also talk shit about fellow celebrities they I hate. Reminder that Rian Johnson was responsible for half the Last Jedi threads here and was just shitting on his own work for fun.
Absolutely.
Proofs?
He's Rian Johnson

I was a teen actress in a niche Canadian educational kids show. I won't say who or what. I once googled my name and one of the first things that came up was a Reddit post of me when I was 12 and it was filled with such filth that I decided to never go on reddit agin.
let's meet up and have sex.
same guy again, just wondering if you saw my message.
it was about us meeting up and having sex
if such a thing offends you, i can't imagine why this board would be your sanctuary
hi, same guy as before.
maybe I was a bit forward before, ha ha, just want you to know if we don't have sex on the first date, we can just talk and have some apple tart.
hi, same guy. just want to know if you can give me an answer and if so let's meet at that new Italian place on the other side of town, I've had a look at the menu and the owner is really Italian, should be good.
let me know soon so I can book at table
hi, same guy this time too. I thought we had an understanding, that we weren't going to play games.
fine, if you want to be like that, go ahead.
hi, same guy. look, about my last message, I don't mean that, I was just frustrated.
let's start from scratch, turn to a blank page ha ha. cool, so now that's water under the bridge maybe we can meet up sometime, how about your place.
dont worry I already know the address
lol, only kidding, I know you don't like having company over.
so where shall we go? pick anywhere, my treat
...and you're on Cinemaphile.
Anyway, you know enough about the internet now to not take anything seriously, I hope.
when I say choose anything I don't mean five star hotels or something I'm not made of money.
it was a polite offer, no need for you to take advantage like that. I know we've had our ups and downs but give me some respect at least.
how about we go somewhere nice then and just split the bill, that way we can extend our reach a little further, right?
look, yes
was me. I was just being friendly and welcoming milline in, I didn't mean anything by it.
Good morning to you madam.
I am churning the cum in my penises.
Please od the needful and redeem air plane ticket to Lucknow for sexual purposes.
Regards
Same but I’m still niche even after recently getting a small role in a critically acclaimed director’s movie. I hope it’ll at least put me on the radar since last time didn’t work.
alright but you gotta get over it
>one of the first things that came up was such filth that I decided to never go back
And yet you come here.
If it was PMK, just know that I had not known what beauty was until I saw you, and while that one role was a bit of a tease, the movie was still worthwhile just to see you.
popular mechanics for kids? the blonde girl is really beautiful yeah
breasts or gtfo
Vanessa Lengies?
Christina from Mystery Hunters?
I had such a crush on her (we're the same age so it's fine). She's still really pretty I coincidentally looked her up just a couple days ago.
Yes. I would come to Cinemaphile every day to fling poop with my bruddas.
?feature=shared
They want to know and they obsessively follow what's said about them, and here's the thing:very often, it's not the sanitized, heavily censored fansites or reddlt subs they care about, it's places such as Cinemaphile where candid opinions and unbridled sexuality are expressed.
And yes, some actresses/celebs do get aroused about the explicit stuff written about them because they NEED to know that they're desirable.
hi millie. I think you're gorgeous and I want to suck on your toned knees
I'd almost certainly include her as one of those who active follow Cinemaphile along w/ Jenna, Florence Pugh, Emily Ratajkowski, Kiki, Margot Robbie and others because they end up finding out (or being told) about the places that talk about them. Occasionally is a servile fanboy/girl who goes "hey Jenna, these people are talking about you" and then the actress/celeb keeps reading the board.
Yes. Others have mentioned Cinemaphile in a knowing way, unlike that dumb CNN presenter.
I'm a random guy. But as I said it wouldn't surprise me. That's also why some celeb threads are deleted instantly here, jannies get complaints (these could be from overeager PR types or sycophants though).
But even a thread full of negative comments interests these women.
>Jenna
fischer?
Ortega
chekt
I'm just a random guy too, but if you knew who I was you'd be so surprised
Tbqh, I wouldn't. If you were Depp or Chalamet or PTA or any major Hollywood name I'd find it expected that you lurk and/or post on Cinemaphile.
One thing some people underestimate is that entertainment types in the broad sense aren't normies, they seek the alternative info and places. They get easily bored of, say, r/movies and come here to eavesdrop and comment occasionally
not depp, but I was in game of thrones as an extra.
told you you'd be surprised.
it'll turn out that 90% of the posters on here were famous actors.
at least that'd explain every anon declaring that they earn six figures and own three houses they bought with cash and are married to a model.
They're probably not heavy users, they're mostly lurkers.
That puts more of a distance between you and, say, Maisie Williams than if you work in some other area that's talent-related, including PR agencies, friends of friends etc where you can observe their actual behavior and even insecurities
people are just people.
never met maisie, met a few others, spoke to a few. seemed decent people.
i have as much of a connection to them as a bartender that might have served them a drink once.
i've no claim to fame
I've known people who've know very famous people, not much to learn from that either - just people. some do have interesting characters
I see. Here's my experience.
I'd say there is an enormous and surprising difference from average people: actors/celebs are, even at the peak of their fame/looks, VERY insecure-- women celebs even more so.
They want to know how they look, how you look at them, how their peers look and-- incessantly-- what's being said about themselves online.
They take it seriously and both agonize when a weak spot is mentioned and get literally horny when their looks are extolled, even in the dirtiest. most X-rated way.
That explains both Chloe Moretz being traumatized by the pizza photoshop and Margot expressly saying she enjoyed knowing people sexually fetishized her feet.
depends on the person. most people are insecure about something, but with famous people it will be magnified dramatically.
they are often people who like attention, and maybe they become trapped in a strange bubble world where things are blown out of proportion, but I'd expect lots are fairly normal and just live their lives.
the people I met didn't seem bothered about any of that and instead preferred to be spoken to like a person.
>with famous people it will be magnified dramatically.
I would say unfailingly so. Keep in mind I'm specifically talking about ppl also notable for their looks. This has other aspects such as:
-their being surrounded by sycophants which they quickly take for granted and mistrust in terms of giving objective feedback
-the "body positivity" campaign which they actually despise but have to pretend they support
>they are often people who like attention
Always. They get frustrated if people don't give them acknowledging looks.
This is counterintuitive because the supposed diva don't look at me attitude doesn't really exist: they NEED you to look at them in approval.
2 quick examples:
-a very famous American actor in a tourist spot got anxious when people didn't seem to realize who he was and felt relieved and almost grateful when one did;
-another very famous actress was doing a play and in the 1st act she noticed a spectator looking at her character's shoes, which were a bit frayed; during the interval she was so distressed she insisted on having the shoes replaced by newer ones (not part of the original costume).
These are both actual examples
some seen to escape that, I suppose you wouldn't hear much about them as they prefer to fade into the background when not working.
perhaps they are the few.
i read something recently, a quote from an actor retelling what he'd been told, "don't worry about people recognising you - be worried if no one recognises you".
i think though that it sounds like magnification, so many eyes on you that your self perception becomes built up from that whole, rather than the few people closest to you.
most people are the result of how they see themselves reflected by others.
if everyone treated Brad Pitt like he was the ugliest duckling in the pond, he'd feel like it and believe it whether he wanted to or not.
>some seen to escape that, I suppose you wouldn't hear much about them as they prefer to fade into the background when not working.
Yes, ofc there should be exceptions to the rule.
>i read something recently, a quote from an actor retelling what he'd been told, "don't worry about people recognising you - be worried if no one recognises you".
Absolutely. And if it's say, a sex symbol, they develop this type of Terminator tech vision to gauge exactly how impressed you feel by their looks.
is that how I could manipulate one of them into being with me - by being unimpressed, or demanding more.
or is that how I would recruit for a sex cult.
i expect that they'd just find it elsewhere, if they really need to be fed in that way.
being recognised for your achievments is a deep goal, so if their achievements are their looks, level of attraction and status, then it follows that they would seek to be recognised for it.
who would give them the most rewarding feedback though, peers should carry more weight than peons.
>by being unimpressed, or demanding more.
Depends. You could try but women-- not just actresses/celebs-- see through you. If you're authentic and there is some chemistry you could at least get laid.
The "neg" thing that PUAs mention has some merit to it but not in a calculated way: the women will sometimes notice some aspect of their looks more critically and that results in the paradox that they'll try to prove their attractiveness to you.
>who would give them the most rewarding feedback though, peers should carry more weight than peons.
Not necessarily as the entertainment industry is teeming with homosexuals.
do you like the attention I'm giving to you in this thread?
let's get married.
too soon?
The subject is interesting to me as it was a type of learning experience that goes against expectations: actresses, models etc who are considered to be sex symbols don't feel that secure and deeply appreciate the fact that men feel attracted to them both as self-validation and a means to arousal.
Not in a simp way, but as an authentic display that you do think they're beautiful/attractive etc
if you scale up the need to be found attractive by suitors, or even in a pack of animals, then from their status the pack is millions, and they are relatively few - so they compete with their peers to attract the most potential suitors from the millions.
Yes but contextually the most evolutionarily attractive suitors could subconsciously be the plumber instead of Timothee Chalamet
Taylor swift and Dojo cat both used to post on Cinemaphile, /b/ and /misc/ respectively
hi again millie, then again if you're available then I'm definitely serious and don't pay attention to my message here because I was just kidding around
I'm way older than Millie and I'm Canadian, not British.
good, you're a better age for me.
did you act in anything since or just follow your studies and other interests.
would you date a slightly older English guy who's a foot taller than you.
>And yes, some actresses/celebs do get aroused about the explicit stuff written about them because they NEED to know that they're desirable.
I have two words for you, Emma: Still would.
I wonder if she comes here occasionally. I'm also aware that the upcoming Bleat features an close-up shot of her pussy.
She's part of an organic, natural movement of actresses and women in general realigning themselves with the natural yearning to draw attention to themselves
>She's part of an organic, natural movement of actresses and women in general realigning themselves with the natural yearning to draw attention to themselves
She's also likely among the last generation of super star actresses since they're being overtaken by tiktok and Onlyfans girls.
Very true. As they compete for roles, younger actresses will likely do nude scenes earlier than she did, not least because the actual moral landscape is dictated by the pace of the internet, where exhibitionism's becoming bolder and bolder
which emma we talking about here
the loose one
that doesn't really narrow it down
Probably snood from Wednesday given the OP pic.
They already experience that on twitter/instagram.
Hollywood sounds too good to be true because it is. There’s too many creeps working in show business.
I'm an absolute loser with no friends who avoids my family. I had a panic attack when someone in the group chat said "I haven't seen anon in a while".
So, no. I would not look up posts about myself if I were famous.
That girl who played River on firefly knew about her Cinemaphile following but was also weirded out by it because she is a red kneck ballerina and watched it like a trainwreck
Summer Glau? I wish we got Kaylee here instead
I think so
Sophia you tomboy homosexual I know you are reading this. DO NOT, and I mean, do NOT under any circumstances get close with a certain Democrat politician that has three syllables in their name. They’re a predator and a rapist behind the scenes.
Sorry I'm late.
no one famous lurks Cinemaphile morons, only incels and racists, go outside and touch grass
I'm famous in this thread
you are a larping gaygit
I know that's you. you don't have to pretend with me.
I'm a famous incel racist.
Most of the posters here absolutely adore Jenna. She has nothing to be worried about, unless she's a prude. And her hotwings interview proved that she isn't.
I hope she reads this
she's too busy gyrating on her father's lap to notice
I wish she'd gyrate on my face instead
in my head the comments are always overwhelmingly positive so yes i would read them when i felt like it
I don't like the way you wrote oveirweaylmungliegh
oh yeah?
yeghe
I bought an ice pole for 50 cents this summer.
i bought more than one in fact. don't try to tell me that I don't enjoy myself
is Jenna a virgin?
outside family members, yes.
Yes!
what is she looking at
I would spam threads all the time and create rumors and drama using bits and pieces of accurate shit I would know because of who I am and who I know and generally annoy anons and jannies in equal measure.
>accurate shit I would know because of who I am and who I know
Like ... what Emma Myers looks like naked?
I'm a "known" celebrity (I get recognized as "oh you're that one guy!" and asked for selfies regularly when I go out in public) that's been on Cinemaphile since before I made a name for myself. Nobody really talks about me as a person because I'm not A-list nor an attractive woman, but my characters are often talked about in threads about shows and movies I'm in. I just come here to shitpost and subtly leak info from stuff I'm working on.
>I'm a "known" celebrity
you're a larper
🙂
Leak some that is yet to happen and we'll know whether you're legit when it does
I'm not currently working on anything. We haven't gotten the ball re-rolling yet after the strikes were settled. This isn't really a leak but I can tell you that I've heard a lot of suits talk about how they 100% plan on phasing out most writers for AI, especially after the bullshit the writers put everyone through with the strikes, though whether this is an actual goal they're going to implement over the next decade or just revenge fantasy grumbling, who can say, but knowing how greedy and spiteful the people running this industry are, likely the former.
OK. Name 2 actors/actresses you worked with, as in sharing a scene with spoken lines.
>but my characters are often talked about in threads about shows and movies I'm in.
Do we like your roles?
I'd like to think so. I've never seen any overt shitposting or criticism of any of my roles as being bad. Cinemaphile tends to like the villains I've played more than the good guys, granted I'm not a lead and people generally tend to dismiss or ignore supporting protagonists as less important.
just spill the beans. no one will believe you anyway
I'm christian bale, but no one here will actually think it's me. but it is.
>I'm christian bale, but no one here will actually think it's me. but it is.
I'm just gonna ask. Anne Hathaway in the Catwoman suit. How nice was the ass? And is she genuinely as sweet as she seems?
she is a very sweet girl, no one can deny that. everyone who's worked with her thinks she's a love and she certainly brightened up my time whenever we were on set or location together.
her backside was as it appears in the film, no doubles apart from the stunt scenes
From 0 to 10, how fricking distracting is it having somebody walking up behind Bryce in the middle of the fricking scene?
if everyone does their jobs, there's no problem
I'm actually this guy, he's just pretending to be me.
one of my characters is in a thread right now.
I imagine a lot of celebs enjoy Cinemaphile for the anonymity although I wonder if they would want to lurk threads about themselves or avoid them
>implying celebrities slum it here
>implying even if they did they wouldn't shill themselves relentlessly
It's basically free advertising
every new release gets accused of getting shilled
I would never let it be know publicly that I post on Cinemaphile. No amount of shilling myself or my work here would be worth what an association with this website would do to my personal and professional life due to the prevailing ideologies of Hollyjew. I'm not nearly rich enough yet to not care about pretending to fit in.
Woops, meant to reply to
just post your first and last name, and a timestamped photo of yourself with today's newspaper, and a chocolate strachiatelli yoghurt balanced on your elbow.
If I were a celeb I would for sure want to know peoples opinion of my roles. I'm pretty sure the people around me irl wouldn't tell me if I sucked, but anons would and even explain why. Then I could use that to improve. Wouldn't (you)?
nah because people who post on Cinemaphile are morons, you would be setting yourself for failure
you can dismiss Cinemaphile or specific boards all you want, but hundreds of thousands of people post on this site, millions lurk, and it's still one of the most organically influential boards on the entire internet from which many prevailing grass roots opinions are sourced.
delusional
projecting
stop being a moron this board is just schizos and pedos
Captcha:XRP08
It's been objectively proven otherwise over and over
stop being a schizo, this is a top 10 board on the site and gets tens of thousands of posts and hundreds of thousands of lurkers every day.
Cinemaphile is in a sense the ONLY place on the internet that public figures/authorities take seriously for the simple reason that it's sincere and unfiltered.
Nobody gives a shit what reddltors say because they're puppets and parrots whereas Cinemaphile has people speaking their mind
Fair but it's also the biggest honeypot on the internet for the same reason, specifically /misc/
that's why only bots post there, all the real to/pol/logical heros left long ago
>real to/pol/logical heros
Never existed, /misc/ was never good literally always worse than current /b/
>worse than current /b/
literally not possible. nothing has ever been worse than post-fappening /b/
/misc/ has ALWAYS been worse than current /b/. Post-gamergate Cinemaphile was worse than current /b/ for a while as well
neither of those things were remotely as bad as nonstop 24/7 troony. tribute, racecuckoldry, socials, and general coomer threads for 9 fricking years running. /b/ has been nothing but a low quality cumbrain board for nearly a decade. it has completely faded from all cultural relevancy, while these boards you claim are bad have become the two largest and most popular on the entire site and are now where the bulk of Cinemaphile and subsequently widespread internet counterculture originates.
Cinemaphile has always been one of the most popular, doesn't make it good
>while these boards you claim are bad have become the two largest and most popular on the entire site and are now where the bulk of Cinemaphile and subsequently widespread internet counterculture originates.
Being the bulk of this site doesn't make a good board. The opposite typically as the cancer seeps to other boards. That's what makes /misc/ the worst this site has ever had since the cancer is particularly malignant and has spread to even smaller boards. Also /misc/ doesn't make memes, they've regurgitated jaks and frogs for years at this point
clearly you have contrarian taste (which on a counterculture website basically just means you're a reddit normie), so what you think is "good" is irrelevant.
You're clearly a redditfrog posting /misc/tard which means you're the cancer killing this site
>reeeee muh ppooooooollll
yep you're a redditor.
>seethes even harder when someone calls out his being a /misc/tard
Yup you're a chud
as someone who just enjoys watching really good Japanese cartoons (appropriate for the film and TV board):
why in the world did that have to take over the entire site/internet? imagine if some oekaki artist murdered someone. shockwaves. hate machine overloading. we must all be privy to the online oekaki community and its culture since it is incredibly important.
Cinemaphile never recovered from GG and all the board splits although it still has excellent off-topic threads
Easy, /new/ immediately before deletion.
it was fine until it was taken over.
gamergate killed this site
>gamergate killed this site
This, anyone who doesn't admit it or thinks the fappening had more of an impact wasn't here to experience either
start asking homeless drug addicts to critique your fine dining experience and they'll say "needs more window cleaner fluid"
I often wonder if my games ever took off if I would. I think honest feedback would be a good thing for sure though. Look at how Hollywood has ended up in recent years without anyone to tell them what they're making is terrible.
They do both: opine candidly (which for them is doubly liberating as their every word irl is scrutinized) and read posts about themselves, particularly the women.
They were probably creeped out by the sudden splurge of AI pics
where are people posting the good celebrity AI porn anyway? there seems to be a distinct lack.
Probably making their porn with stable diffusion and sharing it on the usual places. Dalle 3 has amazing quality, but it's locked behind two (at least) layers of filtering, so trying to get anything good through it is tough.
Remember when Andrew W.K. did a Q&A on Cinemaphile and avoided all the questions about Steev Mike? Ha ha--he sure does love to party, by gum!
Why isn’t just being rich good enough for Cypher, the bad guy in The Matrix, why does he also want to be an actor?
?feature=shared
I would defend myself constantly on here
BTW writers do that often. There was also at least one recent (1-2 years ago) movie whose main crew came here en masse to shill/defend their movie.
What film
Franchise reboot movie with a ridiculous premise. Its advocates would get really offended when you pointed this out and write wall after wall of text, insisted on calling the movie "the best of the franchise after the original" and fricking fumed when ppl pointed out that a certain costume/looked unrealistic
Just say its name, no need to beat around the bush on an anonymous forum
I know, I want you to connect the dots by yourself and see if it seemed like shilling to you as well
I can't think of what you're talking about due to the "costume/looked unrealistic". I know a lot of homosexuals here hate Prey and think any praise of that is shilling (I loved it) but it's an alien so not sure how that would apply. Scream's costumes also didn't seem bad to me though the nu-Screams have been the weakest in the franchise (no Sydney equals no Scream)
I liked Prey too, but I thought the axe on a rope was dumb af and not really possible except when she used to escape the mudpit.
Prey was fairly well received her, mainly because of the qt
Not sure what you're talking about, chud homosexuals like
are convinced people that like it are shills because he's convinced everyone is as /misc/grammed as himself
you do not belong here. this has never and will never be your website. you will never be a woman. you will always be mentally ill.
I've been here since 05 you tourist, I thank god I'm not a woman and never want to be one. I know I'm not mentally well, hence my being here
You need to go back homosexual, your larping sucks
>seething lgbtqueer
>projecting its own larp
yep that's a stereotypical redditor. have you notifed your discord troon buddies yet that you're trying to invade Cinemaphile and need help?
>projects his own projection
>projects his own use of chudcord
>keeps bringing up plebbit because that's where he came from and still clearly belongs
You're an electiontourist and you will always stick out as such
>REEEE ELECTION TOURISTS
you could not be more reddit if you tried.
There is no "we" here that collectively believes anything here, anon. That's that other site.
there is no "we" but there are definitely "people" like (you) who don't belong.
You're so stuck in your hivemind mentality you don't even realize you're outing yourself.
You're such a mentally ill anus-gaped lefty homosexual you don't even realize how out of place you are.
I'm sorry, are outsiders invading your widdle safe space?
>xir admits it's an invader that doesn't belong.
yike
this, so much this
reddit is the liberal safe space, /misc/tv/ is for based chuds
shrimple as that
In the case of Prey, they were shills who worked in the movie because:
-the "better one yet since Predator" PR talking point was repeated over and over thread after thread
-criticism against it was met with detailed rants about filming conditions and how the ludicrous main character was a native of this or that tribe etc; TMI over and over again
-when someone pointed out how plasticky the Predator looked, there was this interminable reply about the local foliage conditions, how it was designed with a background that took into account the geographic/cultural, how it would look so much better onscreen yadda yadda
Mind you: none of this seemed orchestrated, just people who had skin in the game and perhaps already browsed Cinemaphile and sounded a bit too enthusiastic and in the know
>using - and instead of > and saying others are shills who don't belong
wew lad. I personally think it's the best since Predator, all the criticisms I've seen about it are >le brown woman bad, and didn't think the Predator looked "plasticky" at all.
>none of this seemed orchestrated, just people who had skin in the game and perhaps already browsed Cinemaphile and sounded a bit too enthusiastic and in the know
It's sad that knowledgable posters are met with such suspicion. Even sadder that I expect as much
>I personally think it's the best since Predator
Were you part of the movie's cast or crew?
No, but I wish I was. I'm an attorney and would love to work in the movie business instead. I'm sure you won't believe me, frankly I don't give a shit. Predator 2 and Predators are pretty good, I even like AvP but I really liked Prey.
he's larping
I'm 100% not and I'm amazed you gays haven't figured it out yet
>Prey
You got it
fricking could be anything, Alien, Bond, Star Trek, LoTR, the Hangover, Planet of the Apes, LEGO....
On one hand I feel like people who would need to defend themselves on here would not be the type to come here in the first place, because nobody could be that mentally ill and masochistic, right? but on the other hand I see liberals desperately astroturfing all over Cinemaphile constantly.
i know a lad who worked as a "grippist"? gripper? something. on the programme Doctor Who.
he posted about it in /who/. been at least ten years, taking this one to our graves.
Grip

I'd love to have Jenna watch me jerk off and cum
>talk about movie that has minorities in it in any capacity
>chuds think it's a shill campaign
>same chuds never actually discuss film and instead focus on their fragile and narrow worldview
>mfw

I WANT TO FRICK JENNA SO BAD
I would still post on Cinemaphile 😉
Gooning to Jenna
Yes I would probably be Paul Bettany and get in drunk arguments on social media.
