I go back in time and give him an extra 50 million to buy Marvel. Maybe also break Jim Lee's hand.

This won't work, comics were already getting dark long before Watchmen. Hell Moore himself already wrote much of Miracleman before this

I go back in time and give him an extra 50 million to buy Marvel. Maybe also break Jim Lee's hand.

      >I go back in time and give him an extra 50 million to buy Marvel.

This might be interesting but you'd also have to shield him from the investors who backstabbed him when he and they were running Valiant

My choice is probably undoing the damage of the CCA.
We likely wouldn't get some of Frank Miller or Alan Moore's superhero masterworks, but we'd possibly have a healthier industry. Maybe not, but it would be interesting to see.

Funny and sad. Watchmen was meant to be a catalyst for more different comics, but instead we got a bunch of copycats. It resulted in some good stuff, but a lot more bad shit.

Marvel being bought by corporate raiders in the late 80s is when the industry began to self-destruct.

This: might have actually saved it.

      - Stop Comics Code Authority from being formed
      - Prevent Moore from writing Watchmen (which ruined comics for decades because everyone tried to copy his homework badly)
      - Help Hitler win WW2 (this will prevent manga from existing, along with other obvious benefits)
      - Assassinate Dan Didio around the year 2000
      - Assassinate Jim Lee before he gets promoted to editor-in-chief

I'm probably missing a few key points but this will be a good start.

The Jim Lee solution is WAY easier than either of you make it out to be.

      >Go back in time to when he is pitched the Gen 13 animated film.
      >Tell him not to use his own money to fund it
      >Because he doesn't use his own money to fund it, he doesn't lose money and doesn't sell Wildstorm to DC.

That's it. Maybe he goes and does work for DC or Marvel, but he may not need to sell out his company and take a position in charge at either. More likely he and Wildstorm still stays at Image.

I can't talk about comics but I think the only thing that could save modern cartoons and specifically cartoon network is adventure time being deleted from the timeline
This show is responsible for all the horrible tropes we see today
    Lesbian fever
Horrible romance, ship Wars and NTR plots
Bringing a weird obsession with 'lore' and Long running stories instead of episodic structure shows
And worst of all it made Steven universe a thing

Honestly? Stop the big bang theory or anything like it from getting made.
That show opened the doors for non fans to pretend to be fans to feel quirky. They complained because a niche story didn't fit them, and now all stories have to be for everyone.

Anita Sarkeesian saying video game character designs were sexist is where the social justice rot in media began. But I have no doubt if she never existed that someone else would have filled the void. Same for Nick Spencer and Mark Waid.

You are beyond delusional. No matter what you think about their political views, it's ALWAYS been the left pushing for censorship. Exceptions are so rare that they're irrelevant and have NEVER affected ANYTHING.

Joseph McCarthy was a democrat. He was at JFK's wedding, for frick's sake. How the frick are you two this ignorant?

It doesn't matter though, because McCarthy didn't push censorship.

Literally the first sentence on Wikipedia. I would question whether you're too stupid to function, but given you're right-wing, you clearly are.

    Fire Bendis, Fire Didio

Fire Bendis saves us from 10 years of Marvel events where heroes do something bad, it gets found out and then there's some kind of war followed by a relaunch where now they will all trust each other. Millar may still be there but he was always gonna leave to do his glorified movie pitches

Fire Didio and the only downside is that Keith Giffen and Grant Morrison books aren't Teflon anymore, that's it and maybe without Morrison being teflon we don't have Batman being a never ending series of Gotham being on fire because Condiment King has enacted his ultimate plot. We certainly don't have 3 reboots and a thankfully aborted 4th

    >comics
Stop Quesada from doing One More Day. The philosophy behind it broke both Spider-Man and Batman because DC clearly believes in the same editorial mandates over story approach to Batman.
    >cartoons
In the 2000s, Disney continued to make Broadway musical style traditional animated films alternated with CGI films. It wasn't the landscape to make experiments like Atlantis, people would have still gone out to see movies that felt like the 90s films.
The other thing would be ensuring that Ralph Bakshi's career survived, but I feel like saving mainstream traditional animation is more important than opening up mainstream adult animation so if I had to choose one, I'd go with the first option.

id go back to spike one of Dan Slots coffees so he dies of a heart attack before he even writes BND
Dan Slotts damage to the Spider-man character is irreperable and worse than anything done in the past including Clone Saga and OMD
Dan has dilluted and gentrified what Spider-mans character is by turning him into a manchild that gets one upped by whatever OC he introduces, the Spock saga giving one of Marvels biggest characters the most unmemorable death ever and Spider-verse destroying Spider-media for the forseeable future cause now Spidey CAN NEVER BE THE STAR OF HIS OWN FRICKING ADVENTURES AGAIN GOD I HATE SLOT
