Can't explain because he also didn't explain. He did a really big Naruto parody project, supposedly something happened to him regarding the anime community, cited his extrovertedness as having been a disadvantage in the case, and tried to distance himself from the project since.
Since then he made a comic, and allegedly started Pangea TV due to quarantines making him unable to sell his comic at conventions.
While i think his Naruto project was really good (except the first few episodes) i'm glad he has been doing fully original things since.

I feel like the biggest hurdle budget-wise was simply paying voice actors and throwing in a fully animated section, but I think a good middle-ground solution would be to turn it into a visual novel on Steam.
Seems that way they could get away with focusing more on prose than visuals, but still have fun with occasional changes in character portraits and background art.

Crazy boris. Love everything this guys puts out, I loved Dungeon dynamite until the very end even taking life times at time so we could new episodes. Wish more people would at least give a chance. I was not even sad when it was cancelled because I knew the monumental effort he put behind it and was just happy it happened.
You can tell how much love and passion Boris has for animation in general and actually just wants to tell his own fun little stories with no real big pretension. He started as a dude who could barely draw hands to a guy working on his own show and actually doing amazingly at it. Really admire how much effort and love he puts behind his productions for such a long time, he is the sort of online content creator you can't find anymore because how much the internet changed, when I grow up I want to be just like him.
