Buddy, that's 2016-tier gaslighting. You're gonna have to do better than that. You watched me be tortured. You would've high-fived each other if I died. I don't give a shit about your psychological motivation. I'm going to...you know what I'm going to do.
Which is why every Cinemaphile comic project ends up being moronic fetish garbage that dies after 3 weeks.
Too true. Anons may write so much smut that they don't know how to turn it off when they're trying to be creative.

Most people here Cinemaphile have no skills related to art or animation. If you're actually proficient at those things your main hangout isn't going to be Cinemaphile unless you REALLY like anonymity.
Same reason why a sports fan doesn't have to play sports profesionally, or a fan of architecture doesn't need to make buildings.
What kind of question is that?
Besides, those industries are nests of vipers and wasps full of backstabbers and controlling nimrods and getting there without connections is more effort than it's worth.
I want to get staffed on a show but I don't know how to. I have writing samples. I've been researching what shows I would want to work on but I hate like every modern show.
I was an inker and colorer for some ex-Disney animators after they closed shop on 2D in the late aughts. Looks like a lot of hard work for little money. Also have a copy of Ernest Borgnine's last work before he passed, he was going to be the voice of a cartoon stork.
A bunch of weirdos, sometimes quite fun, in that industry.
>industry
Because there needs to be indie animators outside of Hollywood and California as a whole.
This applies to most other entertainment industries too.
It becomes harder to enjoy stuff when you can break down the show on a technical level. It's like a 'creators complex', I cannot unsee certain things now like product placement or forced writing etc. Sometimes I just want to enjoy the show as is and not see through the curtain.
>We don't accept unsolicited submissions. Make a name for yourself and impress us, and we'll contact you.
There's only like 5-10 people that actually write for the big two at any given time.
I don't think full humans can work with bugs. They don't have enough creativity to think of a cover in such close quarters day after day. The process is completely different.
I have no artistic talent whatsoever, so it'd be an uphill battle I stand no chance of winning. It'd satisfy nobody and be a total waste of time and effort.
I have no urge to project my fetishes onto the masses. Plus I look down on grooming.
I do
Webcomics count?
Because I suck at everything and shouldn't even be alive.
Shut up, homosexual.
Is moral nihilism the same as low self-esteem?

Why don't I sleep in a free bed with bed bugs in it? I dunno man, guess I'm eccentric.

Oh yeah, well at least I don't have back pain and poor work-life balance
I don't want to be a slave what the frick kind of question is this
I don't have enough talent, skill and drive to get in on my own steam against all odds and I don't have the connections to get in through nepotism.
the EP told me I didn't give good head so he blacklisted me from the entire industry
RIP my man.
Get that head game up.
I don’t wanna be broke and the thought of working with the kinds of autists that make comics and cartoons sounds unbearable

You gotta bug out. Do the bug. Crawl in and out of the ears of a decomposing God. That's how we access the divine. Bug, bug, buggin' out.
good idea!
I will be working in the comics industry soon 🙂

Can you imagine being an ancient human of great renown, looking down your bloodline, seeing bugs?
How horrible
Nepotism isn't gonna work for you unless you work bug highways. Bugs helping bugs.
Because the industry sucks. American industries and institutions are wildly corrupt
Because I’m already married
To justice!
It's like a veneer of humanity. A parasite skillset. Raw creativity is completely rerouted. It's all bugs.
I've been trying for 11 years now, I can't get hired.

I'm not american and you can't get into the country with art alone
Where'd you get that idea? Cinemaphile fricking hates cartoons and comics.

You like to read? Become an author. You like good food? Become a chef. Just do it.
Perhaps this is what parasites feel like.
Confusion. Hijacked executive function. A lot of confusion. And you are able to understand more complicated things of lesser importance.

I wouldn't be able to sneak my fetishes in.

If you love shitposting so much why don't you work in the pooping industry?
You want something to remember me by when I'm not around?
It's all about knowing the right people and living in the right area (LA and NYC). And I got neither.
Independent creation for me
Based and Darger-pilled. I can't wait until they find all this crazy shit in my apartment after I die.
