Debunked, rebunked… *chuckles* these finooks have more bunks than the YMCA!
Hey Tone? D’ya here what I said? I said there’s more bunks than the YMCA! Heh heh heh
I'll give respect where it's due but there are some areas where Chase is out of his mind. Shit like saying Ralph burned the stable down, like he doesn't realize he shouldn't be saying anything on that shit.
Ralphie said he didn't do it, until the end. He said "I wish I did it" or something to that effect. Paulie hated that Tony was hanging out with Ralphie at the racetrack right? Might be talking out of my ass

ralphie really seems guilty though
why would you be so defensive over something you didn't do?
even though I kinda see you point with paulie being in conflict with ralph

>Ralphie said he didn't do it
And if Ralph ever says something, he should be trusted.
> like he doesn't realize he shouldn't be saying anything
It’s so heavily telegraphed, including the death scene, it’s either pure moronation or wish fulfillment fanfic masturbation that drives people to claim otherwise.
>like he doesn't realize he shouldn't be saying anything on that shit
tv shows don't exist in a vacuum and you should stop taking the ambiguity bullshit so seriously, he can say whatever he wants to
If you don't think Tony relives getting shot in the diner before he sees meadow over and over again in Hell, you literally did not watch the show and your understanding comes from memes
He regarded it as a death scene which was original ending that was changed in the final cut which was:
Tony would drive to New York opposite of intro and get killed.
The ending implied that Tony could die at any time and if it happened at this moment it wouldn't be any different than later. His mafia family is in shambles, Christopher his surrogat son is dead, Sylvio is in the hospital, Paulie is not trusting Tony...
He can die at any time and this single scene reflect the future of Tony. He'll die hoping that the music will never stop but he's done for regardless.
Tony could always die at any time. He had a chance at redemption but blew it and became even more depraved. In the last scene he's reunited with what he truly values most (his family, which were represented by the ducks in the pool). His life and what he values is snatched away because he couldn't give up his mob life.
I never understood the plebeian "dur he's paranoid forever" argument. Tony was paranoid from day one. He's in the fricking mafia. That is irrelevant. Besides, he's not paranoid enough in that final episode. If anything, he's way too relaxed and he's not checking his blind spots.
it literally didn't make any sense for him to die. the don't stop believin part referred to him not being able to let go of himself and the people who allegedly wronged him (childhood trauma, Olivia, junior etc.) It was vague because the creators themselves knew that tony was so far gone that even with years of "therapy" and episodes of obvious catharsis' he still couldn't change his nature. everything that he ever did was because it was pre-determined genetically ( remember the story of his great grand father fainting falling off the cart and aj fainting) this same pre determined cycle continues throughout generations by the virtue of his genetic make up and all efforts to rectify the same are futile attempts i.e. hope, represented in the form of don't stop believin'. It doesn't really matter if he died or not because that kind of death in his line of business would not be anything out of the ordinary. he just had this deranged idea moksha/Nirvana that he couldn't fulfill because he wasn't meant to. It was all a cyclical tiramisu of fleshy bullshit that we're all subjected to as workhorses in the samsara and hope is a fictional carrot that appeals to our lower intelligence i.e. getting something that's supposed to be better than what you have right now. It's a folly because God isn't all good and God isn't all bad. Everything is. Sorry for the incoherent rant I'm druk. I love you all.
it didnt matter because it was over, carlo flipped, tony was going to the can, his family was going to be left broke, and all of that was for nothing. the tony from season 1 was gone, the real tony died. thats the ending
chase accidentally admitted that he died
deboonked
I just reboonked it
I bonked ur rebonk

what is the point here?
that chase shouldn't confirm something so heavily implied?
I always thought Paulie pyro'd the horse
what, why?
Ralphie said he didn't do it, until the end. He said "I wish I did it" or something to that effect. Paulie hated that Tony was hanging out with Ralphie at the racetrack right? Might be talking out of my ass

He died, get over it gay. All those theories and explanations you made over the ending don’t mean shit
I mean he's literally dead irl
But he did die
Maybe his internal and spiritual death was the episodes we saw along the way
If you don't think Tony relives getting shot in the diner before he sees meadow over and over again in Hell, you literally did not watch the show and your understanding comes from memes
It doesn't matter, either he died there or got arrested. The whole season made a point that Tony was fricked either way.
He was spirituality dead by the end of the series. He killed his surrogate son, a mirror of how Livia tried to kill him
OP here
I just wanted to make a sopranos thread
He regarded it as a death scene which was original ending that was changed in the final cut which was:
Tony would drive to New York opposite of intro and get killed.
Broke: he died
Woke: he lived
Bespoke: it literally doesn't fricking matter even a little bit
OP here
I just wanted to suck a giant dick, frick Sopranos
Everyone dies.
Canonically Tony outlived Gandolfini
The ending implied that Tony could die at any time and if it happened at this moment it wouldn't be any different than later. His mafia family is in shambles, Christopher his surrogat son is dead, Sylvio is in the hospital, Paulie is not trusting Tony...

this, I wonder how redditoids will seethe once they announce Sopranos 2 with Tony still being head of Sopranos family
based i fricking hate when people parrot the Bobbys OBVIOUSLY false statement about le instant fade to black
It's ambiguous and it doesn't matter
All the fan theories are just cope for the ending sucking. Nothing happened at the end, he went into a diner and it cut to black, that's it

I think HBO wanted to keep the ending ambiguous in case they want a cash grab sequel or something but the ship has sailed for that
thank god
AYYY BADA BING BADA BOOM PASS-A DA GRAVY BABY

Vito was philtered. If that’s what you’re referring to.
Maybe Tony was watching us the whole time and the show ended with him changing the channel.
Why was Phil Reotardo so fricking moronic?
20 years in the can
