Haven't read it. I liked the movie a lot though
It's a great movie, amazing atmosphere and casting. But they changed a lot of stuff and I don't think it's for the better.
How is the book different from the movie?
Adson is the same order as William.
The girl survives at the end.
Bernard Gui is killed by an angry peasant mob.
It doesn't take them long to decipher the labyrinth.
William just finds his glasses, no subplot about getting new ones.
The abbot doesn't die a horrible death.
Remigio's trial is pretty quick.
The whole plot about the delegations is overlooked.
