It took me one minute to find a decent but short example with a fem wendigo. Look up "My Monster Girlfriend" by Scragony on webtoons (I tried to get past the spam filter.) As for a longer, more serious series, dunno. Maybe most artists who do this kind of stuff don't see it as very profitable or popular enough, despite there being signs of an audience for it. I don't even think meandraco was making much at the height of TU's development.
"Decent" is about right. The art is passable, but only just barely, and the writing is just the shortest of short vignettes.
A simple sketchy artstyle for a simple comedic comic, seems fitting enough. Of course, that'd never really scratch that itch for a straight foward romance story.

I think a Vulpine base for a female beast works.
Regular Beast’s design is both monstrous but has plenty of attractive masculinity to it. There’s also the fact that the Beast is dangerous; the juxtaposition between the potential of that danger being directed towards Belle, but also that dangerousness protects her.
The Fox is often seen as a trickster, thief, and even a man eater, which can match up with the qualities of a dangerous woman (though the maneater is usually not literal). At the same time, most fox species mate for life, and are fairly monogamous. There’s also plenty of folklore where foxes are loyal and true, and plenty of stories about Kitsune have them as loyal and loving mates. And the traits of being a trickster can protect her husband too. It’s not hard to make a fox feminine either, allowing you to split the difference between dangerous animal and beautiful woman, just like Male Beast splits Dangerous Animal and Attractive man.
I've seen some good "monstrous, but not in a way you CAN'T find attractive, and also visibly similar to Disney's Beast" designs for a female Beast.
