I'm about to marathon the Nice Guys...
What will I think about it?
Looks kino based off the casting alone, and I'm in a neo noir mood

And stuff
it's kino
one of the few good movies russell crowe's been in
Easily my favorite movie of that year.
It's a fun, buddy cop neo noir. That's it. There isn't really anything deep about it. Just a pure, fun, popcorn flick and I love it.
It’s a shitty overrated buddy cop comedy, not a neo-noir.
It's okay. Just going by the description and cast it should be one of my favorite movies, but it's just missing that certain spark.
its shit
This movie is Shane Black mocking himself to please homosexual execs and producers. He's been broken since the mid 90s.
makes you wish you born in the mid 40's and to peak in the 70's
All pre-1980 movies are garbage but 70s movies are the worst trash. Except for Star Trek and Star Wars.
the old star wars movies suck tho the prequels are unironically better
I disagree that the original trilogy suck but I agree the prequel trilogy are better.
Holy zoom zoom these mfs bussin 4 real no cap involved
Trailer trash wigger (You)
>marathon
>one movie
illiterate monkey
it's a movie not a show
Shane Black has been around for a minute it seems, never knew he was involved in Predator and wrote Lethal Weapon. I only really know him from Iron Man 3
JUST
I actually just watched this right after shin kamen rider since I had 5 hours to kill.
Fun film. Russel Crowe is a little too tough in it, and the climax is a bit over the top, but it’s an enjoyable ride, with a likable cast and setting.
The anti-capitalist message about inside jobs and this or that feels like it’s something the elites and Hollywood execs wouldn’t actually want to write into a film in the modern era
I liked the part where he was about to break the glass with his hand wrapped in tissue but the tissue stuck out and he fixed it really quick.
Why would he fix the glass? He wanted to break it.
he fixed the tissue, like i said.
It's probably the best comedy movie made within the last decade.
it was mildly funny but is this really the best this generation had to offer
It's good, but Kiss Kiss Bang Bang was the better Shane Black buddy detective mystery.
but does it have a cute girl
I couldn't handle the rbj cringe
It's an r-rated neonoir that takes place in LA (as several others on the subgenre). It's raunchy, violent and devoid of pearclutching expectations of decorum
I haven't watched any classic noir, so I wonder if the darkness that pervades this film is typical of them. This movie is really grim, but makes you laugh all along the way (at least you're drinking again!). Good plot, memorable characters, there's just a few concepts that feel over-the-top or not quite executed right. Strong script elevated to a 9/10 comedy by the cast.
Watch Double Indemnity for a good classic noir that holds up
>tfw i stopped saying "and stuff" after watching this movie
thanks goose
Decent flick but terrible photography
one of the react-fus just posted an episode of this
it was boring and shitty and I didn't finish it.
I also HATED kiss kiss bang bang. idk why people praise movies like this so much
Do you get to the ankle gun scene?
most people can enjoy stuff
Just under an hour in and it's an enjoyable if formulaic movie. Can't complain
