So you’re saying the lib playboy who has been rich most of his life didn’t convincingly portray a lowly redneck who he politically and morally despises in every way and can’t relate to in the slightest?
Kinda weird how sometimes this board has weird autistica vendettas against certain topics/actors. I'm not sure if it's just for the sake of being contrarian,and/or other members of the board trying to fit in with the contrarians. He's a good actor, end of story. Definitely overacts in some of his movies though.
the thing is that normies eat up Leo's overacting as the best shit ever while no one really thinks Nic Cage's acting is amazing or anything
Leo started to get really desperate for that Oscar over time and started overacting the shit out of everything
The Revenant was fricking painful to sit through
I dunno, maybe you guys notice this more than me. As a matter of fact I rewatched the Revenant a couple weeks ago, I wasn't amazed or anything about his performance, nor did I think it was "overacting" to the point that it's painful or kills the enjoyment of the movie. Although I think his best performances are The Aviator and the Departed, where imo his overacting is kept to a minimum and fits exactly with the tone of his character.
There were many scenes that were clearly over indulgent and Dicaprio going off script for his "I'M ACTING!" inanity. This was one that seemed to go on forever. >Dicaprio: They came to my house! >DeNiro: Who told you that?
Directors want him to overact at this point, it's his thing. You want subtle you get Sam Worthington I would not notice that guy passing me on the street.
fricking hate this homosexual with a passion
why? because he fricks prime b***hes, something you can only dream of?

It was moronic to even tell the story from his perspective. For once Shrader was right; no one wants to spend three hours with a boring moron.

It's that face the best thing he came up with? Leo was called morono for a reason, he's a dumbass with no creativity
>I like them Osage fried potaters.
🙁
>Works with all the best directors alive
>Not a single memorable character
>Billy Costigan
I liked his Uncle Jacky better
Uncle Jacky was alright.
Reckon you make me some biscuits.
Does he make that stupid frowny face the whole movie?
Pretty much, yeah.
mostly, but then he'll break character and suddenly look normal and act like he's gained 15 IQ points somehow, from 80 to 95.
DeNiro titls his head back and frowns, that's his thing in this movie.
Disappointing.
it's a really terrible performance, but also inconsistent as hell and I have to blame that on Scorsese
Scorsese is probably more focused on keeping his bowels in check. Time to retire
O_O
War is le bad

he overacts in literally every fricking movie he's been in the last 15 years
So does Nic Cage yet this board unironically appreciates that about him.

Name a better acting performance than Leonardo DiCaprio in Shutter Island. You can't
He's a good actor but more importantly, he dabs on women and make roasties and cucks seethe. He's just too based.
Reddit is that way
Nic Cage doesn't act for awards
How come peoples faces expand sideways as they get older? Espeically twinks? The same thing happened to aaron paul and that dogfricker youtuber
It's called gaining weight
Getting 8-10 inch wieners stuffed sideways into their face hole, gagging all over them and slobbering

>That pic
Did they fug?
Leo should play Hitler. Not even joking. He would be great.
"Eva Braun, I'm conflicted." 🙁
