I'm actually... enjoying this? I'm integrally enjoying post-1980 live action Star Wars?
What's the trick? Does it go to absolute shit after season 1?

Season 2 is so so
Season 3 does not exist
A female boba fetta jedi?
hot sex
booba fett
Recently finished Season 3 and the show is kino through and through
Unironically made me excited with all of nuwars Disney universe
I fear it’s the only good one though, I started Ashoka and she’s completely unlikable and I couldn’t care less about the story, and I have only heard bad things about Book of Boba Fett.
The Mandalorian however is really top tier, better than the sequels and the prequels imo
Ironically Boba has two of the best Mandalorian episodes.
I have heard and it pisses me off because it’s the typical Disney move of sprinkling plot development across different shows and films so you are forced to CONSOOM all of their slop.
Obvious example being the beginning of season 3 that made no fricking sense unless you watched TBOBF. I kept waiting for an explanation that never came.
You don't need to watch Boba just those two Mando episodes.
>kino through and through
>season 3
I hope you were well compensated for this post
>Recently finished Season 3 and the show is kino through and through
Lying homosexual shill motherfricker
season 2 and 3 drops in quality once disney tries to use it as a device to push other star wars shows.
I liked S2 more than 1. Longer episodes and more money, but still great stories. Could've done with less boba wankery though, I don't give a shit about the character. Haven't seen S3 yet.
You have bad taste,
is right on the money.
S1 was kino, then Disney smelled shekels and it was all over.
It goes shit after S02. Couple of good episodes on S03, but overall it was meh. For some reason two of the best episodes were shoehorned into Book of Boba Fett.
Disagreed S03 is also good
>Mando being religious again and not showing his stupid Hispanic face any longer
>Grogu showing more of his powers, the ebin yoda jump, actually contributing and saving the Mandalorian towards the end
>The big Mandalorians gang forming with the union of Mando’s sect and the girl boss mercenaries
>The girl boss not being particularly sassy or woke and actually having a good romance/relationship with the Mandalorian
>The Mandalorians conquering back their home planet
The plotlines are becoming bigger more ambitious and intertwined but it still holds fairly well imo
Why did S03 feel cheaper then?
It's a show called Mandalorian, where the Mandalorian IS a secondary character.
>implying Din Grogu, the legendary Mandalor, whose reign lasted over 1000 years, is not THE titular Mandalorian
He isn't. The TITULAR Mandalorian is the homosexual with mini muppet. Stop being a troony on purpose.
How else can the series go on for another couple centuries?
Imagine old Grogu using some kind of meditation to give all his fighters a sort-of Force-linked hive mind in battle. Any attack on them would be over quickly. Oh, a new biggerer planet-killer weapon? Affect the targeting crew's mind to always aim for empty space.
They sort of do this in the Thrawn Trilogy with C'baoth.
Oh you mean the Braplorian? Yeah nah, that was shit.
>The plotlines are becoming bigger more ambitious and intertwined
Yes, that's why it's bad. S1 was borderline-episodic bounty hunting kino, *that's* the show that pulled people back into Star Wars after the disastrous Sequels, but they couldn't do it, they couldn't just keep telling heartfelt, modest, human-scale stories about BH dad and yodakid, they had to turn it into *yet another* galaxy-shattering megaplot and turned the characters people actually liked into bit-players in Bo Katan's story.
The result is people walking away, steadily declining engagement and viewership, every step they take away from the original concept carves away another piece of the audience until all that's left are the Filonislop-drones who want to clap and squee because OMG IT'S THE LADY FROM THE CARTOON OMG OMG.
>Disagreed S03 is also good
Son and I watched Mando together and had fun but as soon as I saw this negress featured I stopped downloading.
>one flamboyant negress in one episode in the whole show
>as the wife to an over the top, ex imperial, jungle fever (probably low-key racist) gold digger played by Jack Black
I think I can take that.
>What's the trick? Does it go to absolute shit after season 1?
Kinda. It just turns into the same "remember this?" shit as all the other new Star Wars productions.
Turns into a Disney+ billboard during S2.
Turns into Bo-Katan show during S3.
Welcome to the party pal
>Does it go to absolute shit after season 1?
No not at all. That happens after season 2
>Does it go to absolute shit after season 1?
It goes to shit the moment Ahsoka shows up. Just like Star Wars in general.
Season 1 is perfect.
Season 2 meanders about but still great quality.
Season 3...well...it's cheap and a sad husk.
It has my favorite episode but that's only because it had not one but TWO of my all time favorite Hollywood flick guest stars, was a battle droid focused episode AND made the confederacy joke ive been making for decades. quite literally an episode made for me but to anybody else i get why they say it was horrible.
>it had not one but TWO of my all time favorite hollywood flick guest stars
have a nice day. It's too late for anything else
>Does it go to absolute shit after season 1?
Hehe...hehe...
>Does it go to absolute shit after season 1?
Sadly yes, it goes HARD into "remember this?" territory and changes the mostly self contained episodic format from S1 into the boring "we gotta save the entire galaxy from whatever the frick the empire is doing plus le heckin' epic guest starts"
People seem to like S2 for some unknown reason.
>People seem to like S2 for some unknown reason.
Imagine being as gay as OP is jesus christ
>Does it go to absolute shit after season 1
Yes
I knew all was lost when Sasha Banks turned up
I heard Lizzo is in other seasons I haven't watched
Went to shit as soon as the fired Gina then it became clear that it's just another disney woke meme show where in universe story will take a backseat to the real world politics of the actors involved
Season 2 is fine, season 3 is not good but there’s an episode on coruscant that follows imperial defectors that I liked, especially the episode’s ending, and the episode with Lizzo and Jack Black I unironically loved. Apart from me recognizing them, that entire episode is purely old school Star Wars WEG RPG feeling. Also I liked the first or second episode of the season where they encounter pirates because it feels like space western fun, especially when you get a cowboy angle during a showdown. Mandalorian S3’s best parts were where it emulated the OT in a way that didn’t feel like it was copying
Season 1 was surprising good. But Season 2 felt more like a platform to launch spin-off shows. Season 3 is dreck.
Season 2 - still good, follows the S1 formula
Season 3 - Mando replaced by Girlbosses That Get Shit Done
