it's because the studio wasn't allowed to use the joker
notice how neither character is ever called the joker
the showrunner was commanded by the studio to kill off the first character because they figured out he's TOTALLY NOT JOKER
then the showrunner got mischevious and brought in a twin that essentially acts the same and totally still isn't the joker either kek
they're all bad
they could become lost media tomorrow and all i would lament is the time wasted producing that crap that could have been used doing something worthwhile

Villains are great almost all of them, first season is basically a police procedural in Gotham with young Gordon as a new detective and the very first case is Wayne's murders. I really liked it when it was airing.
my wife and i are watching it now and really like it
it's about Jim Gordon and the villains in their early days, and a little bit about young Bruce Wayne.
it doesn't make a mockery but it doesn't take itself real serious either. it's fun. don't expect things to follow what you already know about Batman, it's kind of like an alternate reality.
it has the best Penguin
It has the camp of Adam West with the gore of modern TV. In season one it has a case of the week structure with Penguin as the overarching story, starting with season two they drop the case of the week structure entirely, so it stops being episodic and starts doing actual season long arcs with villains like Riddler, Pyg, Mad Hatter, etc.
Jesus Christ. He looks like an inhuman monster. And I guarantee the "doctor" told him to give it time and the results would eventually look more natural.
From what i understand initially she was suppose to be a very minor character in those couple of episodes and thats it, a glorified extra. For some reason they decided to bring her back and it worked.
I'm thinking of the Tim Burton type character (Echo?) way late down the line.
Barbara Gordon was pretty good though. Started out boring then they did a stupid twist for no reason and it was actually fine. Honestly a shame lesbian cop (forget her name) disappeared, probably would have fit in more with the original police procedural idea.
Yeah I get it but it was too much even for me. I kept waiting for her to snap out of it and become the loving homemaker she was destined to be

Oh, man, I bet you were disappointed at the end, if you made it that far. I can understand why a lot of people didn't like her. I like insane women in film.

Yeah sorta. I think part of it was that she didn’t necessarily have the acting chops to pull off campy crazy. Jada was better at it

I would agree with that. Barbara was at her best in the show when she was paired up with somebody, either Jim or Tabitha.

It helps that Annalynne McCord is still hot as frick even when she's meant to be greasy and gross.
Personally I preferred Jeremiah as the Joker. But both were good for different reasons. I also find it interesting that Jerome (the more blatantly unstable one) tended to work more with the other villains whereas Jeremiah mostly went at it himself (he was also unstable but was more subtle about it).
Why did people like this Joker so much? He was fricking awful.
Yeah, I didn't get the appeal either. The whole twin nonsense is probably the most moronic Joker origin story I've ever seen.

This. We knew it wasn't Joker and that's why it was all so fricking terrible.
It’s meant to be cheesy. Let me guess: you hate Adam West’s Batman too?
>it was terrible because this character wasn't legally bestowed the copyrighted title of said character
what a stupid way to approach fiction
Did you seriously read what you just implied is not a bad thing for a huge franchise?
why aren't they allowed to use the Joker?
WB/DC didn't want the Joker overused and overexposed. so they're not allowed to use the Joker on tv.
Thanks for answering.
They should chill the frick out nobody cares that much about the joker
I thought he was pretty good and consistent with the show’s vibe
Why did they even make him into Salmon Grundy if they were just going to change him back to Butch again? There was a lot of stupid shit in this show.
It's capeshit hack schlock kino, name something more moronic in live action capeshit.
Except he's the best live-action internation of the Joker. Get taste, vermin.
Nah, he was a good joker.
>iToddler experiencing severe buyer's regret from vision pro
Obsessed pajeet
face/off sequel looking good
did he get these scars from that shitty apple vr ? haha!
Disney will never bring his Star Wars character to live action, sorry ginger, it's only movies about literal gay romances for you.
He's in the new Tron movie unfortunately.
Much better joker than Leto at least.
>my mother is going to react poorly to this current situation
>Cal Kestis!
are those games any good?
the first one was alright
second wasn't cracked yet so i'm waiting on that, but allegedly it's better
First one was great, but the second one had many writing/story issues.
First one is enjoyable
Second one has more bugs and performance issues, but greatly expands on the gameplay elements from the first
they're both just ok but their writing pisses and shits all over the recent shows and movies
all cw shows are bad
Name a better DC TV adaptation. I’ll wait
Batman The Animated Series
Alright, you guys win this round but I’ll be back
Batman: The Animated Series from the 90s
they're all bad
they could become lost media tomorrow and all i would lament is the time wasted producing that crap that could have been used doing something worthwhile
Krypton
supernatural was good for a few seasons
shit take. Supernatural S1-5 and Smallville 1-5 are some of the comfiest wholesome television going
Gotham was Fox, not CW. That's why Gotham had more cinematic flair instead of looking like a washed out soap opera.
Nobody cared who I was till I put on the mashk.
Jesus that’s terrible
>Nobody cared who my grandmother was before she had wheels....
Seeing people on Cinemaphile talk about this homosexualy charade was so painful.
It’s a fun show. I’m sorry you didn’t get it
>It’s a fun show
If your brain is riddled with SSRIs I'm sure it is.
Big batman fan, is this show worth it at all or does it make a mockery?
It’s ok for a chuckle but young Bruce Wayne is the worst part of the show
it's fine if you enjoy campy movies and shows. if you go in expecting something top notch you'll be extremely disappointed.
If you're a fan of Batman in comics, there's a lot about this show you will like.

frick you he was great
hmmmm
>I’ll take reasons not to listen to women for $500 please Alex
why didn't he get some lips with that?
poor bastard
Pathetic freak
Jesus Christ. He looks like an inhuman monster. And I guarantee the "doctor" told him to give it time and the results would eventually look more natural.
Hey, it's kenjaku from the jujutsu kaisen series
the not-Harley sidekick was a qt.

>Echo?
Yeah, i was talking about her.
To me Barbara was one of the worst handled characters on the show. She was all over the place when all she needed was a good dicking down by Jim. Sad
That was the point of Babs. She was a crazy b***h.
Yeah I get it but it was too much even for me. I kept waiting for her to snap out of it and become the loving homemaker she was destined to be

the show was a mess but that actor was unironically a great pick for a young joker
