>if they didn't spoil every crime in the first 5 mins of each episode.
It's the Columbo thing. Show us the crime upfront, and then watch the detective work it out. It's a refreshing change from a typical mystery.
I liked this show, but as a detective/mystery fan the premise of the main character being an infallible lie detector harms it, there's no longer any mystery
I can tell that you're lying.
it's kinda good, but it wastes a lot of potential.
Her totally out of place accent is weird.
Couldn't finish the first episode. The writing is unsurprisingly terrible. Rian Johnson has a learning disability.
Me too, but the formula got boring towards the end. Wouldn't watch a second season.
Does she get 'em out?
Haven't finished yet, but I dunno if her breasts are worth seeing tho
She does not.

Show was super comfy, quite smart, and wasn’t meant to be taken too seriously.
It’s definitely worth a watch.
I hate this b***h, only liked one or two episodes
Cinemaphile got filtered by rian again
the formula wears thin after a while.
you're not supposed to binge watch it like slop you gluttonous american
i didn't, dingus
yeah sure buddy
Yeah, five minutes.
Yup, I would have gladly did more than 3 episodes if they didn't spoil every crime in the first 5 mins of each episode.
The bumbling detective works well for me but not when the audience is in on every "gotcha!" moment.

It's super comfy when it's Peter Falk solving the case in comfy 70s studio sets though, how could this possibly recapture that?
Poker Face is fun, but no, it doesn't hold a candle to Columbo. Peter Falk was one of a kind.
I find her big hair and raspy smoker's voice comfy. Don't know what to tell you.
this anon gets it
everyone else is being a gatekeeping homosexual
>"Muh boomer detective shows!"
Kek. They need to remake "Matlock" with Chloe Sevigny.
how about instead of Murder She Wrote it's Murder They Wrote and we cast a hot up and comer like Elliot Page
Imagine being too zoomer to handle classic Columbo shit.
yeah
I liked it.
I want another season.
I'd like to poke her face with my pea(nis)wiener if you get what I mean
