It got a ton of hate for supposedly trying to make The Looney Tunes "edgy" even though the actual show was pretty standard action cartoon stuff of the time.
Some video essay about how this was terrible popped into my recommendations but the dude orating it was such a massive homosexual I could not watch more than 10 minutes.
Loonatics isn't even edgy and I'm tired of hearing homosexuals act like it is.
Oh. sure, the original pilot does come off as really edgy, and the show's still not good, but morons still act like the entire show is some grimdark brooding Looney Tunes cartoon but it feels more like a terrible knockoff of Teen Titans more than anything. It's not edgy, it's fricking boring.
I was shocked at how fricking insufferable the Huggbees video was about this show. I always really enjoyed the How It's Made parodies he did years ago, but he is so hard to listen to and full of ironic cynicism that I'm shocked I even made it through the whole video.
The phenomenon of video essay homosexualBlack folk being far more obnoxious, cringe and unbearable than whatever they're trying to shit on in their video will always be hilarious to me
I'm gonna assume the coldsteel spammer sees loonatics as a passion project that was judged unfairly.
>People are so bothered by one harmless anon making the same thread over and over that they resort to make their own threads just to try and shit on him.
You guys are becoming the schizos.
Its a strange show that was stuck with a needless identity crisis, unable to decide between being an action show or a comedy. I do think the concept could've been salvaged had it leaned into being an actual action comedy like Rise of the TMNT. But anyone claiming that it was actually good is just fooling themselves.
Rating the protags: >Ace
He's okay! Good leader and nice powers. >Danger Duck
He's my favorite for his sardonic, sarcastic attitude and how much humor he brings to the team. >Slam Tasmanian
Another favorite of mine. He's simple and has nothing to prove. Just loves to eat, sleep, and fight! Perfect man! >Lexi
She's really cool! Another of my favorites! She's not trying to prove anything to anyone and is just being herself. She's masculine and feminine without it being performative on either side and I like that. >Tech E. Coyote
He's okay. Honestly, I like him more for the fact that he's voiced by Kevin Michael Richardson, thus showing the variety in his performance. >Rev
I like him, too. His backstory, including his family, are interesting to me. It's generally interesting that he's the only member of the team whose family we saw. If I could see another team member's family, it'd be Slam's.
I can't believe I forgot >Zadavia
I initially thought she was a hologram who needed power to become corporeal, as a kid. Anyways, I like Zadavia, especially how she plays off of Danger Duck. Her alien origin and backstory are also pretty nice.

The comparison to Wabbit in part 3 needs to be seen. >According to Sam Register, the current president of WBA, art of the show is hung up as a reminder of what not to do. Except not only is the art not really theirs but they haven't really learned from this.
>art of the show is hung up as a reminder of what not to do.
Holy shit imagine being this misguided, like imagine having this hung up and seeing Hazbin Hotel become the biggest show in the country doing exactly that.
All this because a bunch of news stations did a story about a 3 year old crying when he was told that Ace was the new design for Bugs Bunny.
This is why we have shit like Tiny Toons and Animaniacs reboot.

You know, watching this video makes me feel Loonatics could had been good but I have no idea how, I just feel in the right hands it could had been good.
Looney Tunes purists went way too far shitting on Looney Tunes Show and Duck Dodgers
Now no one is taking them seriously anymore when they say things about shows like Loonatics, so people will now like Loonatics
In a world were everyone is growing tired of endless irony, a show where most criticisms boil down to "BUGS BUNNY WITH LAZER EYES!? UGGGGGGH" was always gonna get a resurgence. Even if its legitimately bad
Only thing I remember about this show was that the magical ancient artifact maguffin they were fighting over was a fricking electric guitar and even as a kid I thought that was silly.
They didn't commit to the concept enough
Season 2 is way better than Season 1
I like this op pic
And I'd like to see how other warner brothers characters would look like in "lunatics forms"
If they did HB the early funny animals gang would work best for a Loonatics like scenario
I would imagine it would be something like >Yogi >Boo Boo >Cindy >Huckleberry >Snagglepuss >Quick Draw

My favorite scene of the original Animaniacs, was when they used the Warner tower as a megazord

Read the thread, Duck Dodgers was never hated, People claim it was hated trying to rewrite history and make Loonatics and The Looney Tunes Show look good.
Goes hard.
Goes harder than your BALLS.
Rev and Tech are cute homosexuals and they saved the show
Agreed. Let's get back to the only thing about this show that matters.
They should kiss
Each other's wieners
Banger Art
Artist?
It was pretty avarage, I don't understand the backlash
It got a ton of hate for supposedly trying to make The Looney Tunes "edgy" even though the actual show was pretty standard action cartoon stuff of the time.
It had a lot of goofy moments, I don't remember any edgy stuff.
The show was pretty tame. It's only seen as edgy because of the main character's aesthetics and the operatic intro theme.
OP image was official concept art, or at least based on it. They toned it down to what you see in the final product after the initial reveal.
I mean it was.
Sex with Lexi

I thought it was more of a cyberpunk superheroes equivalent of Duck Dodgers.

Probably so, Mooregay thinks that edgy Sonic garbage is secretly underrated genius that will be "rediscovered" as great someday.

Is that how you reassure yourself that you're not autistic?

It's probably due to a combination of growing up with it and desire to get away from ironic quippy media

Did they ever say why they turned Rev Runner's costume red when they redesigned everything?

This was really good
Probably THE best LT spinoff/solo series still to this day. The megadeth episode is still the most bizarre crossover I can think of.
Which bit the purists in the ass
When you shit on something this good no one is taking you seriously
Who the frick was shitting on Duck Dodgers?
Nobody.
Looney Tunes Show fanboys try to pretend that it was good simply because the creator did other shows (Duck Dodgers and Scooby Doo MI) that were good.
it was inevitable with the rising tide of 2000s nostalgia
Get over it grandpa
Sorry, not everyone is braindead moron that constantly parrots ecelebs.
That's Cinemaphilentrarianism for ya.
