The tone is way too serious and the pace is fricked up by being both too slow and not snappy enough. The writers are obviously soldiers of fortune who don't understand the source material at all. There is some good work with the set and costume design but the cinematography, choreography, and acting are all abysmal. Every single character is overacted and intense where they should be laid back or reserved.
