Probably because Ron just sort of wanders into the Common Room hours later and seemingly not even looking for Harry, then is just like "uh, my bad". In the book he specifically seeks him out immediately after the First Task to apologize, and it was made clear he'd been thinking about it all night beforehand.
OOTP I think, things happen ridiculously out of order, or not at all, and last time I watched it I tried to see it from the point of view of someone who hadn't read the book, I and I felt like there were plot points that wouldn't seem like they make sense.

Both true but for me it's Half Blood Prince, they cut out almost all the stuff to do with the Half Blood Prince's book and when Snape reveals it at the end it's a massive letdown and most viewers had probably forgotten what he's even talking about by that point. Plus Harry barely pays any attention to what Malfoy's up to and it just gets shown as like unrelated cutaways, and then they cut out almost all of Voldemort's memories and Harry and Dumbledore talking about his past and the prophecy too. And for what? More teenage drama, wooo. If not for the exciting ending making you forget about how boring it had been up until then I think everyone would call that the worst film.

Pretty hilarious on recent rewatch actually. The movie really does just show these random scenes of malfoy fricking with a closet and putting apples in it, literally telling you nothing of what the frick he's doing or what is going on. So bizarre.
My memory isn't great but from what I remember he's more upset that Harry didn't tell him about his plan to bypass the age restriction
IIRC in the film Ron just seems jealous of Harry

Yeah that's how I remember it
I think Ron tries to apologise but Harry doesn't want him to and they just become friends again
And there's a moment where Harry sees Ron get angry about the way Harry is being treated by someone and it makes him really happy
God the films are just so shit except for Prisoner of Azkaban
The plot of GoF the book is built like a big puzzle piece, you get the pieces slowly right from the start and they slot into place as you go. On a re-read you can see the whole finished picture all along.
The film, is more like you seized a handful of the pieces, threw them on the ground then called it a day.
The early chapters were they're just at Hogwarts before the plot really ramps up are usually super comfy in the first six books, especially the first four.
Interesting to note that with the recent homosexual invasion of this board all the Harry Potter threads are filled with people circle-jerking about the books instead of deh and dullest posting.
She'd already had all her holes ravaged repeatedly for several years by Harv in this photo
So hot knowing that even as she's acting she knows how Harv is waiting in her trailer readying his butthole for her tongue after shooting is done for the day
there's such a strange feeling to all of hermione, harry and rons interactions in the 4th film onwards. did they want to do a le epic office style awkward feel or what? don't get me started on fricking ginny scenes, they're absolutely embarassing.
what is she up to?
>"AHM GONNA PUT MAH FOOKIN DICK IN THE AWL"
I'm not a herwhiney
> "I'm not a bimbo!" Emma protested, even as she knew that she indeed was.
NOR AM I A TOAD
I thought it was really good in the book when they become friends again
Didn't feel the same in the film

Goblet of Fire is probably the most butchered book overall as far as the film version goes

Do the books explain why Ron all of a sudden gives a frick about about Harry being in the lime light when he didn't seem to care before?

Btw there was shit that surprised me in the Goblet of Fire book, there was a mystery to it even though I had seen the film a dozen times before

Comfiest chapter from the books?
The Unexpected Task
Comfy levels are unrivaled by any other book I've read.

Who?
b***h was 1 year older than me so my sexual awakening mirrored her sexual maturity. I coomed so many times as each new flick came out.
If you think about it logically, Hermione is virtually guaranteed to have a slightly hairy pussy in this scene.
