>I’m not watching SEED or Destiny until the movies get remastered.
Okay, but why? The special editions don't add much of importance.
In fact, the only (new) remarkable scene in that whole thing is this one, which is quite baffling. Why does ZAFT have a base in the middle of the Atlantic Federation's territory? It's like if the PLAN had a detachment stationed in Yokosuka.
Apparently the HD Remasters of the movies have even more redrawn scenes?
Check this trailer. That Strike/Aegis clash in space is definitely redrawn, that wasn't in the TV HD Remaster.

They're adding new scenes for the HD Remaster of the Special Editions, not to be confused with the added scenes from the 2012-2014 HD remasters of SEED and Destiny.
I wouldn't be surprised if this is to throw in some stuff that connects to the new film similar to how they retconned Mwu's death in SEED.
>IIRC the Special Edition remasters
nope, they're coming out now, check out the dates in the trailer of the linked post

Nope, the remastered special editions have been shown as early as 2020 in Japanese theatres and then later broadcast on Japanese satellite TV in 2022. The Twitter trailer is just a promo re-screening of the HD remastered special editions along with special merchandise like posters and stuff to drum up hype for the Seed Freedom movie.

One funny thing in the Destiny SE, they changed Athrun for Lunamaria in some scenes, the one where Shinn is picked with Stella on the cave. Contrary to most SE changes, they didn't used this one in the remastered series.
That's a pretty low bar
The seed movies are bad, destiny ones are excelent
congrats on having a plan?
Good, here's where you can find them:

Which was what the CG Film trilogy was.
What are they still adding? IIRC the Special Edition remasters were already completed and screened in theaters either last year or early this year.
I hope we can see the widened sex scene.

You can get them on Amazon Japan right now.
Apparently, they release on December.
Yeah, tell that to the guy who's been consistently begging for rips of the Wowow version over and over.

Actually, that was me.
Why are you so insanely desperate for the dumb Special Editions in HD? I can't wrap my head around it.
For archiving, of course.

Given how its shot, I’m fairly convinced that is just for the trailer. I might be wrong though

i've read that the Destiny movie is quite good, but how is the normal SEED movie?
A rushed, poorly edited mess. Don't bother.
