I would not let my daughter star in any television show regardless of whether Dan Schneider was involved. Children shouldn't be famous. Half the time child stars who don't get diddled turn out worse than normal kids that actually do. Fame at that age should be considered child abuse.
Your brain literally stops developing at the age you become famous. Most child stars still have the mental capacity of 10 year olds. Haley Joel Osment is the only celebrity child to escape this fate. He seems normal and well adjusted.
