He's physically strong/resilient to be able to go toe to toe with Hulk, The Thing, Silver Surfer and Thor. He also flies and desintegrates stuff with his voice (he's immune to this btw). Is in the top echelon of power in Marvel but is pretty obscure, all inhumans are, and rarely used. Similar to Eternals.
It's like the New Gods from DC, absurdly powerful beings but that rarely appear in the comics.

none of the characters in that scene got "actual fights". The men do get actual deaths while the women get to do some turn based jrpg combat. if i was in that group i'd be way more excited to get killed in a cool way like reed bolt or xavier than to get just walloped like marvel and carter.
