That was covered by the latter part of my post. You know, since being faithful to anything any fans of the source material would like or want is the last thing on most of their minds. Especially in cases like the Witcher.

How naive was this guy? He was on set talking to a bunch of genocidal israelites saying “are you SURE Geralt can’t do something cool in this scene? come on guys!”
And all the israelites just look at each other and it quick cuts to an inter racial sex scene.
I just can't picture this guy as Geralt, he just looks like superman with a wig. I heard the show was atrocious so I didn't miss anything anyway.
