We’re all paying for the terrible taste of mid-90s Gen X-ers.
Frick you zoomer child.
And now down to your Gen X superiors.
It's insane how awful the boys comic was
On the one hand there's so many hated shows out that might have been mediocre as an original IP but are awful because they're riding off of an existing much better IP they don't care to respect. But then you get cases like this where the original IP was shitty enough that anything is an improvement, and the show is still alright so instead it's a smash hit.
The comic is better than the show.
Thinking the show is better than the comic is the most basic b***h opinion
It's beyond insane that most of the acclaimed cape runs are worse than The Boys.
The other way around. It's astounding how a lazily cobbled-together, bloated parody with shit art made by a few creators is still less bad than an expensive production made my teams of highly-paid professionals.
I remember Cinemaphile storytime for every issue and marvelling at how awful it was compared to Punisher MAX and Preacher.
I guess it was such a empty generic premise and story that the showrunner could easily craft their own themes.
Cinemaphile storytime was a fun ride though. First thirty issues were pure "lol Ennis" but the back half was a decent conspiracy thriller when you removed the "lol Ennis" with a lot of fun twists and turns
Cinemaphile losing their shit after Why'd ya kill me dog, Jack? was amazing
Feels gran', paddy.
>Two evil Supermen
Too bad we didn’t get only evil Supermen as guest characters.
It's astounding how much better the TV series is than the comic book. And the TV series isn't that good to begin with. But I really want to see how Homelander ends up which is why I'll watch Season 4.
Omniman's character and powers have more in common with Saiyans from DBZ
technically 2 evil captain americas aswell
Peacemaker and who?
homelander again
>residuals
>from anything made in the past decade
if the contract he signed didn't specify he was due anything from this exact scenario, he'd have to sue to get anything out of them
At least Kirkman made it. Actually don't mind the guests, more annoyed by Ermac's lack of red mask. Also why the frick Takeda?
All three of these characters are weird, but Peacemaker is the weirdest one for me. Why are they pushing him so hard? Suicide Squad wasn't even a big hit, and he was the most boring character in it!
Guess who's in charge of the DCEU now
This decision was made way before Gunn got in charge of the DCU. Does smell of Warner Bros wanting one of "Their" characters in though since the Joker was received pretty well in MK 11 (Especially for being a last-minute replacement for Ash Williams).
People are actually peacemakers, and it was a pretty well watched ahow with a lot of discussion around it, even with people that hate capeshit
Imagine hating Love Sausage
