Leftists are rarely ever funny. The only way they can be is if they step out of their humorless ersatz religion of Black-worship and oblivious israelite worship. Nta but Burr fell into the same trap as every other comedian once they become obscenely rich. Comedians craft their jokes around their life experiences and they need the audience to relate to those jokes. And when their life experiences have almost nothing in common with ordinary people, their new material loses the thing that made them successful to begin with

he's definitely in the top 5 of the funniest comedians in the last 20 years, and he's just pretty funny. that says a lot about the state of modern comedy

You will notice that after his jacking off debacle, he went back to larping as a blue collar joe in his sweaty black shirt and stinky jeans.

Honestly, yes. He is the only comedian who truly perfected the craft while ALSO being funny. I hate that he's israeli, and anti-white, and an all-around homosexual IRL, but he truly perfected the craft of stand-up better than anyone before or since.
Second place is Norm Macdonald, not from a technical stand-point but from having a natural funniness about that elevated his material.

like how he became this thoughtful playwright after flashing his dick
can’t help but imagine him explaining how flashing his dick was actually thought provoking, intellectual comedy
I’d rather have him be remembered well than jackasses like Lenny Bruce who weren’t even that funny and were only popular for getting on their soapbox at the playboy mansion.

Louis CK is funny until you actually go back and listen to how shitty and tedious his standup is when saying a string of random profanity isn’t really edgy anymore which is pretty much what his whole act was:
    >heh I have a daughter…she’s a c**t haha…no…yes…c**t…haha yeaaa I was jerking off and my c**t daughter knocked on the door and I had jizz on my hand…jizz c**t hands…

Seeing how all of comedy is bullshit, I’ve theorized Bert Kreischer is the greatest comedian of our time, because he is the worst. Just like every other comedian, he knows what he’s doing. The difference is Bert is winning. He’s told the same joke around the world for nearly a decade now. He’s still doing it. He’s still getting away with it. Being that shitty of a comedian and pulling it off is the greatest joke any comedian could attempt to tell. His shitty career is an incredible joke.
