>Gay copout ambiguous ending left to your interpretation. If you were watching what the top is doing instead of what Cobb was doing, you missed the point.
You unironically got filtered. The point of the ending is Cobb finally let Mal go and got over that phase of his life. He stopped caring about the totem and you don't get to see what it does or doesn't do because it doesn't matter at that point. You wanted show don't tell, and that's what you got.

This is cope. It's lazy story telling. A story has a beginning, middle and end. Having an open ending is just bullshit designed to try and get people to keep talking about your lame story.

>Having an open ending
There's no open to it unless you need to be spoonfed development through exposition. I thought you didn't like that style of storytelling.

After the credits the screen turns keeps black and you can hear the totem fall
>No stakes because it's all a dream
they can die in real life if they get killed in the dream
inception is like nightmare on elm street but as a gritty crime drama
>They just go into a coma they may or may not wake from.
So there are consequences, but you think they are not serious enough? >"Dude you'll just be in a coma til you die, what's the big deal?"
Did you watch Following? Because that’s pretty good. And I don’t know what everyone’s problem is with Inception. I think South Park peer pressured some into hating it.
>And I don’t know what everyone’s problem is with Inception
It's Exposition: The Movie
That's enough for me to hate it. And I liked every Nolan movie before that, so there was no prejudice on my part. Show. don't tell. We don't have to know every goddamn detail about how dream layers work to accept the movie. I don't care much for the actors either, so there's that. The visuals were the best part.
I don't get all the like for Mememento either although i definitely prefer it to anything he did after TDK, don't care about Nolan past that.
I like Insomnia. It's great to me probably cause he didn't even write the movie, it's a remake.
Wrong tard it's his best film after Memento
It's boring as shit though
No stakes because it's all a dream
No likeable characters
Boring plot/motivations
Oh, I also forgot the "best" part
Gay copout ambiguous ending left to your interpretation.

That's literally the final scene of the movie tard

Not sure who you think I am

Wut? They used the dream to get that guy to give up his company. That was the stakes.
Wow, how riveting
jesus
why are nolan haters always complete morons
I bet you thought Interstellar was amazing too
Baffling, really. Happens in every Nolan thread.
Because they're moronic

No, they can't. They just go into a coma they may or may not wake from. It would have better if they could die, so there would be stakes

After The Prestige, of course.
Interstellar is pretty kino as well
The Prestige > Inception > Memento > Interstellar
Trump lost, chud.
Memento was entertaining to watch exactly once.

DiCaprio is not impressive and I have no idea why they put Ellen Page in this
They needed a teen
agree with you
loathe the 2010s reddit meme decade
the score is good and thats all that matters
filtered like a true chud
Just watch Paprika
>all men cast
Filtered.
Nah, the Batman films are trash as well
the batman movies are way worse
nah its good
only non kino NOLAN
dark night
all of them
interstellar
tenant
everything else is kino
Nolan really does make movies for dumb people who want to feel smart. The Prestige was good though.

in fact i think i just dislike the Nolan brothers
would have worked better as a prequel to The Matrix
like it showed the dream technology that the machines later took and used against the humans
except the movie didn't even have to be about the machines at all, just focused on the dream machine and its effects on society
i always thought that was the most interesting part about The Matrix, not the war with machines
