Look how fat Dash's face looks, how odd for a speedster.
Kind of makes sense Super people would get fat faster that regular people as a normal work routine would be to light for them.
You should have that high metabolism like Flash, the fat thing only worked for Bob.
Does Dash lose weight from his running? Maybe his body is use to the high speed and friction he works at that his fats don't burn like they normally would and spending a fear years restricting his abilities publically probably didn't help.
thicc
Without Brad Bird?
Nope.
The sequel sucked with Brad Bird
Sequel sucked because they made Brad redo the whole damn film because "People wouldn't remember"
Movie is utterly fricked without his direction.
Correction: the sequel sucked because he unironically wanted to do the same plot. He refused to age up the characters even slightly and the last movie covered every last bit of parenting for the ages each kid was at
What do you expect from a man who wrote for The Simpsons, the very definition of wheels spinning but nothing ever moving forward?
He actually went "The Simpsons never needed a timeskip and its doing just fine, so why should I timeskip Incredibles?" when being questioned about it.
everybody on earth thought it should have a timeskip, and bird didn't take the hint. boggles the mind.
where did you get 'ambiguously gendered' from that?
OP who leaked it said the character is a girl but frozone calls them a boy in the concept art
This, the second movie was garbage and even failed to address the main issue of 'people being over-reliant on superheroes to the point where it endangers them' that the villain set up to begin with.
Bird only made the sequel because Tomorrowland flopped, plus they lost a year of production by giving more time to the disaster that was Toy Sotry 4.
Wrong. The sequel was announced in 2014. Tomorrowland came out in 2015.
I'm calling it right now its going to be a fast forward to the kids wanting to leave their family dynamic and start their own team. Obviously the movie will focus on violet because woman power who will probably get the urge or push to leave by a brown female friend who is also a super (likely part of a new up an coming super team that saves the day before they even make it to the villain) and is better than her parents when it comes to skill. "If you stay with your family you will never be able to reach your full potential" The new team will probably turn out to be evil (Syndromes child/extended family) and she will defeat them and Bob will accept that she is ready to start her own team while she realizes that she doesn't want to leave the family team yet
Dude took like a decade to come up with something as cookie cutter as what I wrote above. Frick him and frick enda mode she isn't even hot
I see this post and I will remember this post, anon. I think you might be right.
Literally nothing's been confirmed, you guys. I don't even need to click on that link to know it was probably mined out of Iger's comment about investing in more sequels. An Incredibles 3 has ALWAYS been "possibly in production" ever since i2 became one of the most profitable animated films in box office history.
It's inevitable, and I doubt it'd get made without Brad Bird's involvement. I just hope they don't wait another 15 years to give us an underwhelming narrative retread again.
If it's just going to be Incredibles 1 again, don't bother.
The only positive of this outcome
Plus Violet.
Nothing good came out of the 2nd movie
barley even any hypnosis porn
>hot mom gets 10x as much screen time in Part 2
I'm liking this trend...

very nice
she needs to be HEFTIER
the incredibles have no villains or appeal
Incredibles claim to fame is it was the first time Pixar had a movie starring humans. But I find the movie disgustingly boring and overrated. Never liked Super Hero Subversions. And I find the humans in Incredibles to look ugly. Can't really take the designs seriously.
If Pixar thinks they can make a new Incredible and that everything will be fine they better think again. Their reputation has seriously sunk by now even worse if Inside Out 2 and Toy Story 5 are bad.
I enjoy subversive super hero stories when they're like the Incredibles or Invincible. Basically, they still feel like cape shit to me, and that's important in my cape shit.
The Incredibles 1 made fun of monologuing villains, had a villain monologue unironically, then had that villain make fun of the fact that he was monologuing. I like that. It wasn't like the Star Wars prequels where some parts seemed like they hated Star Wars.
>It wasn't like the Star Wars prequels where some parts seemed like they hated Star Wars.
kinda summarizes incredibles 2, it felt like brad was pissed at disney not letting him do his version of the movie so he was just like "fine here's your slop"
Fantastic 4 is a flop ever time in theaters. I have more hope for Incredibles 3 than a franchise with an abysmal track record.
Well, no. It's just that they killed off the memorable villain.
Pixar has really gotten that desperate, huh?
*Disney has really gotten that desperate
The Mouse as a whole is falling on hard times, and they have no one but themselves to blame.
Disney has a bunch of sequels planned so if Disney is lucky idiot normies will automatically go see the sequels to formerly successful movies. Remember normies are stupid. This is how bad things like Terminator Sequels are still successful. Normies see "Oh it's Frozen again will totally see it!" That's the mentality of the normie.
If that were true they'd still be making Terminator films right now. Normies are dumb, but even they get tired of the same thing over and about very again, and are occasionally capable of recognizing "hey, this film isn't as good as the first one. I don't think the next one will be any better".
Yeah, no movie has broken $1 billion in years. By Disney metrics, every movie in the last few years is a spectacular failure worthy of firing whole divisions.
>Strange World
>Onward
>Luca
>Lightyear
>Turning Red
>Wish
No shit maybe they should stop adding LGTB shit to their products
My guess is that they know toy story 5 is going to be a huge piece of shit about nothing because those characters have finished storylines
They're going to bring Andy back. They've always admitted that. My guess is it will be about Woody and Bo looking for Andy who will be revealed to be married with a family by now.
But who knows.
Andy is married to a giant black woman and they have a black kid (trans) who is the main character
They should bring back Sid as a father.
It will be either a classic adventure in a savage land or a story about the "housed" toys. More probably a mix. Woody and Bo happen to visit the city where the toys lives or something like that and recount their adventures with the carnival. And some other adventures happen.
It could also be maybe a prequel but I doubt it, not in movie form at least.
Maybe they will pull a "The Rescuers" and W. and B. will save the ass of Andy's child from someone.
The real problem with Toy Story getting sequels is why would toys still be prized by kids? During Toy Story 3 and 4 in particular enough years have gone by that toys are fully irrelevant as a product. Toys will have fully been replaced by video games, tablets, etc. The only logical Toy Story sequel idea left is Woody realizing that the era of toys is over and that no one wants them. So they lose their spark of life and get sent to some recycling facility.
woah I bet the villain will be another guy who hates supers
It's a spin off. Already leaked here. They're exploring the idea of Frozone having an ambiguously gendered kid with a pet ferret
https://desuarchive.org/co/thread/140430572/
What the frick? Why?
Because the first one proved Atlas Shrugged right, Bird must atone.
He can't, he's no longer at Pixar, same with most the Veteran Animators.
So Disney is determined to ride this shit into bankruptcy, huh?
you can only hope Disney into bankruptcy at this point.
they have money to burn through the decade for this shit
Playing superhero will do that to you.
I have a sick feeling that's not going to matter given how bad things are getting inflation wise, the rich have the most to lose
I've seen that kid with the Ferret before and it wasn't for an Incredibles film.
What was it for then? This is literally Frozone & Honey. I'm trying to dig up the concept art on my computer right now but there was one piece that showed them in a convenience store or something and the girl/boy was looking at a superhero action figure
Found it, also I put this on twitter before and Pixar DMCA'd it so it's definitely something they're currently making. Maybe it's a short before Incredibles 3.
https://mega.nz/folder/obtWlbjT#Ma71zo6GO4djc2m0HIYmcQ
Wonder if that was the same leak as with THAT episode of the baseball series.
What episode?
Ninjas got to it. Thought I'd saved it but haven't been able to find it. This is from memory
>girl talking to dad on phone
>uses her old name casually
>face goes Picasso
>panics, goes to the restroom
>Can't decide on male or female toilet, more picasso face
>female team mate steers her towards female toilets
>she calms down a bit
>looks in the mirror
>looks closely at her face
>stubble
>picasso face goes completely out of control and she runs out
>coach sees her, gives a bit speech, calms her down.
Luckily I also saved that. I wonder if they'll actually go through with making this episode or scrap it considering how much backlash it'll give them
They've delayed it a long time. Pretty sure it should've been out a while ago.
It’s just tumblr stuff, it’s Turning Red 2
You mean leaked for the same reasons? Who knows, maybe someone at Pixar is against woke content and wants to expose it. Although unlike that Win or Lose storyboard which literally depicted a trans kid this just seems to be "boy with braided long hair and a father who's a little harsh." Kinda hard to tell what message they're getting at just from concept art sketches
Swiper?
Wow brad bird is rolling in his grave right now
That sounds like a Disney+ special at best
You have to be joking, there is no fricking way
If real, maybe it’s a spinoff and separate from the third movie.
A lot of movies go through multiple stories and characters that never make it to the final movie. Incredibles 1 and 2 are notorious for having several deleted scenes and characters that didn't make it to the final film, so I take all this with a grain of salt until official confirmation.
In any case, I refuse to believe Disney would be THAT dumb to make a spinoff of the Incredibles without the main family in it. They're greedy, they want the cheapest, most easily profitable film, and I really don't think they'd take a risk and deviate the story so much with this. Especially after Lightyear was a flop. The lesson Disney learned is that people want to see the old characters and member berries, they do not want experiments with the formula. Some of this story might make it to Incredibles 3, but probably as a B story and not a film of its own.
assuming this is even for incredibles 3 and not a separate project. They could be planning to make Incredibles 3 then put out a Disney+ series afterward
I can see that. A civilian's POV from a superhero world would work better as a lower-stakes TV show.
Disney mostly just wanted Brad Bird to make it up to them for his epic failure that was Tomorrowland.
Worse than that was he was offered Episode 7 and turned it down for Tomorrowland
Oh my god, what I'd give to see that version.
Brad Bird was already planning Incredibles 2 before Tomorrowland bombed.
He had been planning it for 10 years but kept hesitating because he couldn't figure out how to top the first film. Then Disney got tired of waiting and demanded it NOW.
He was saying Incredibles 2 was his next priority after finishing Tomorrowland and they started pre production while he was working on that.
>I really don't think they'd take a risk and deviate the story so much with this. Especially after Lightyear was a flop.
Lightyear wasn't bad because it deviated from the formula, it was bad because it was a character assassination on a beloved character and failed to deliver on a prmoise of fun. They said it was supposed to be the movie that made Andy like Buzz more than Woody but it was bland at best and didn't have any elements that a child would enjoy - instead the main character is a washed up tryhard who never does one good or likeable thing the entire film. Why would an 8 year old like it? Answer: they don't and that's why it flopped.
All they had to do with Lightyear was just adopt a Emperor Zurg story from Star-command and it would have printed. Really aint that hard.
for some reason pixar really fricking hates the buzz cartoon. no clue why
Conflicted with how Lasseter imagined Buzz's show in his head and being seen as a trial run for that "We don't need you, we can make sequels to all the Pixar movies by ourselves since we own your characters" stunt.
disney really doesn't do anything with their TV departments in ANY case besides Ducktales or Phineas and Ferb.
Movies being bad doesn’t always make them flop. The last Jurassic World was the worst movie of the franchise and it still made money. Bad movies can make money if companies squish the IP properly and Lightyear failed to do even that.
They were Lightyears nehind the others.
weird
>in a perspective of a non super human living in a superhuman world
Garbage. BORRRING FRICKING BORING BOOOO IM SICK OF THESE TYPE OF FILMS. MAKE NEW IPs PIXAR.
What powers?
how is everything getting leaked like this
It's called focus testing
This might be a short film, pixar does them sometimes. No way it would be a full feature film
I’d say it’s probably a mini series. Like the Up Dug mini series on Disney plus.
i would much rather have an origins story of Mr. Incredible and how he used to fight crime
A prequel about the glory days? You've already got a short about that.
Good, it needs redemption.
JUST AGE UP THE CHARACTERS
So now the exact same thing as the first movie again, but this time form Violet's perspective?
The only way you'd get me to watch another Incredibles movie after that sorry attempt at a sequel is if it's all about Violet, especially if she becomes a villain.
Same here. Doing the exact same thing, just worse didn't sit well with me or anyone with whom I saw it.
Violet gets all of Jack Jack’s powers and gets revenge on Tony for dumping her.
Maybe you are on to something.
That kid looks like something's wrong with her, like she only gets 2 hours of sleep every night. Ugly, too.
There is nothing wrong with Violet and she is NOT ugly!
And her eyes are way too big. I get that you want to frick her cuz she's a kid, but, dude...kid's odd-looking.
I like her big eyes. They're cute. She's cute. You're a gay. End of story.
Gewd-boi's titcow Violet is easily my favorite aged up interpretation of Violet because it maintains the large tired eyes.
I don't like da big boobies. Violet should be a sticc.
"Mom genes are going to hit her hard eventually" reasonings aside, there's something fun about Violet still being a neurotic mess after becoming a bombshell.
She's far more appealing as a skinny girl. An artist giving her Helen's body, especially when they don't try to match the art style of the movie, makes her look like an OC cosplaying as Violet rather than Violet herself.
i want her to brap
3d Violet actor.
R.E.M. time
Stan for this ugly-ass kid
man, how sad
All cuz you want to stick your dick inside a 14 year old
Stan for this underage hag
man, how sad
Even though we all see it you can't admit it, cuz you're not bold
Reminder that the better Incredibles follow-up was the Underminer video game and the Boom comics that followed it. If nothing else, it gave us the superior hypnosis villainess in Mezmerella.
So is it going to be how Violet and Dash are chosen to be independent heroes and Helen, Bob, and Jack Jack have rescue them from a villain?
No, it's going to be set immediately after the second one and deal with the new heroes being accepted into the general public again. The first thing that comes to mind is that it will deal with supervillains (with actual powers) being brought back en masse.
But 2 sucked massive ass. Helen's ass is the only thing good from it
I don't mind the second movie
Me neither. I was bothered by minor focus on Bob, but I wasn't thinking about the good trade-off at the time.
Blew my mind that the homework scene wasn't just a typical "men are dumb and can't look after kids" thing. They did genuinely change how kids do arithmetic at school and it's a completely different method.
It was fine but nothing mind blowing like the fist time, the best way I can describe it is a made for tv pilot movie for a show they never made, that happens to have a hollywood budget
Imagine the smell.
Why do you think Evelyn is wearing a mask
No one knew who she was before she put on the mask.
If I took it off, would she die?
Pooopy panties
I saw this webm in /u/ and it's the only thing from the movie that I actually remembered.
Don't mix up Star Wars and Marvel shit with Disney shit.
And Cameron was planning Avatar sequels before the Avatar 1 Director's Cut released.
Make the movie about Voyd because nobody remembers her at all.
There's that meme again.
2 more weeks
The action and humor was fine, but frick me if it didn't have some awful HAHA AWKWARD IS FUNNY RIGHT GUISE?! moments. Then add that the plot was so easy to guess, I almost nailed it after ~20 minutes i was expecting the brother to be in on it too and you got one mediocre movie.
Syndrome was a great villain, because he was fleshed out and his beef made sense. Whatshername was so bland I've already forgotten her name despite watching the movie less than a week ago.
For me, the biggest issue was just how low the stakes felt compared to the first movie.
First movie was full of existential problems. Bob having a midlife crisis stuck in dead end job after dead end job when he could be doing something so much greater. Helen dealing with her husband's midlife crisis while trying to keep the family together, then beginning to suspect he's having an affair. Dash and Violet both struggling to fit into society due to their powers which they have to hide.
Compare to the sequel where Helen is doing crime fighting, fine. Then Bob's whole arc is just learning to take care of the baby while keeping the house running, Violet has boyfriend issues, and Dash's arc is literally about him struggling with math homework. It's just so much more mundane compared to the first movie. Maybe that was deliberate, but it feels more "childish", even though the movie still does kinda retain that more adult vibe at least with Helen's side of the story.
I'm not sure how they could get back up to stakes like the first movie without feeling forced though. Maybe with a timeskip and add in more of a social element to the story.
>Whatshername was so bland I've already forgotten her name despite watching the movie less than a week ago.
Evelyn Deavor. Her name is literally "evil endeavor" because this movie has the subtlety of a brick to the head.
Stop watching movies altogether and do community service
Literally didn't even need to have her name to know she was gonna be a twist villain, literally the second she walked through the door I thought "oh I bet she'll be the villain"
>Helen needs to take a-ACK!
I've never watched the 2nd film, dunno why. Is it worth a watch, and why does she wear the mask?
>Is it worth a watch
I don't like the original and hated the sequel which is essentially a soft reboot rather than a sequel
Okay-ish as a stand-alone movie, but don't expect it to be incredible. It's not a worthy sequel 14 years in the making.
i wonder if they'll ever do a "A Bug's Life" sequel.
The ants must learn to accept diversity and not be racist and thus gradually their colony becomes majority wienerroaches
Yeah. But which classic Japanese movie should Pixar rip off this time?
Akira
End of Evangelion
rebuild of EVA
all that fricking waiting
Grave of the fire flies.
If they ever did it would probably be a bog-standard plot about the owner of the trailer selling his land to developers and the ants and all the rest of the insects have to find a new place to live or something.
>movie takes place thirty years later
>it's about Violet and her family
>lots of cheesy 90s references
>Violet is also trying to get Bob and Helen to retire cause their powers are becoming unreliable with age
>Dash is only briefly mentioned
Could actually see this because the last couple of Pixar sequels have been about retirement and legacy
I'm all for a timeskip, but it should be no more than 3 years.
you forgot
>violet is married to a kang
Lets hope not.
Really isn't a shred of creativity left in that company huh?
John Lasseter was a weirdo but he had more integrity than whoever is running Pixar now.
He was for sure the only creative mind behind Pixar.
That's why everyone is talking about picrel.
Well he sorta jumped on that studio. It took him a little while to get disney feature back on track too, meet the robinson was shit but then he got it back with tangled. I give lasseter the benefit of the doubt based on his track record
Okay but this isn't being unlucky this is bullshit
Where is the water coming from? A more believable poster would be her umbrella has holes in it but the cats is perfectly fine.
The whole movie is bullshit and no one is talking about it even though John Lasseter was involved.
The premise is "Chronically unlucky girl gets into shenanigans at the Luck Factory"
She still doesn't have a family at the end of the movie.
I actually remember watching it, I think for the cat. I barely remember anything in it except bullshit Leprechaun world or something that I hated and fetish bait dragon I also hated.
I think I liked the cat in the end but I barely remember what he was like at all which is telling.
He's literally just Jiji, except half of his screentime was just narrating the exposition and lore of the Leprechaun world.
I remember liking the early apartment scene with all of the bad luck gags.
Pretty easy to have integrity when everything makes money hand over fist, anyone there now has to think of everyone they see every day getting laid off
integrity is meaningless in work
If they do this they need to get their balls back and go PG-13
I want more death in this one
ultraviolet sequel
I know certain people disliked it, but I hope they continue with Bob and Helen’s swapping roles from the last movie. This time Bob becoming more responsible and caring for his family while Helen slowly reverts back to her Elastigirl personality.
I think the difference is that Incredibles 1 still had Helen and the kids go on exciting adventures when Bob was incapacitated, while in 2 Bob gets instantly mindjacked before he gets to do anything cool. There is a way to have both parents have awesome moments, even if one is still portrayed as the main caretaker.
Incredible 1: about Bob
Incredible 2: about Helen
So is the third one going to focus on the kids?
God, I hope so. Violet is the best part. Then again, they both got lots of focus in both films.
Helen and her female sidekick
>Incredible 1: about Bob
>Incredible 2: about Helen
>So is the third one going to focus on the kids?
my rough thoughts for a third movie;
>picturing it being set a year or two after the second movie, where the first film had Bob as the focus character and the second had Helen as the focus character, this time the focus would be jointly on Dash and Violet with them both dealing with the issues of Puberty as Supers(with Dash being an early bloomer and Violet a late bloomer) as well as being the rising stars of a new generation of Supers that is emerging and finding it's own way due to few of the previous generation still being alive, Violet joining up with an all girl team of teen Supers, while Dash gets drawn towards a new movement espousing Supers Supremacy led by the son of Gamma Jack and this leading to conflict between both the two siblings and the respective halves of the Supers community they've aligned with(Violet with the Establishment, Dash with the Revolutionaries) and them having to resolve their issues before it falls into outright war
>inb4 marketers and writers were lurking and copying the "Count Clockwise" pitch

>The Iron Giant
>The Incredibles

So when is The Simpsons/The Critic veteran Brad Bird directing or writing another movie?
His first three movies were good, his last three movies were shit. He's doing ray gun at skydance with lasseter, though it seems like brad lost his touch after ratatouille
>Inside Out 2
>Lion King Live Action 2
>Deadpool 3
>Captain America 4
>Moana 2
>Zootopia 2
>Toy Story 5
>Frozen 3
>Frozen 4
>Star Wars 10
>Baby Yoda 2
>Avatar 3
>Avatar 4
>Avatar 5
>Tron 3
>Incredibles 3
>Finding Nemo 3
Avatar 3, 4, and 5 are gonna be kino, everything else shit
Avatar 2 was horribly written pretty mess. I don't see it.
Avatar is a shit series and there's a reason it has literally no impact on pop culture.
I hope they ALL fail.
I hope the next Avatar movies brutally fail. But sadly humans are morons so those will probably be successful When in doubt Humans Are Stupid. Remember that.
Don't you mean Finding Marvin?
So it'll be the same exact story that they did the first two times, but who will be the focus this time around? Dash? Violet? JackJack? FroZone?
Good on Disney/Pixar to keep on ruining the legacy of their franchises.
I waited 14 years for a sequel and it sucked.
https://www.instagram.com/reel/C6MYE7lx3u2/?igsh=aGV6MXo0b3h5ZTY4
Come on and do a supervillain family
How would anyone feel if the third movie changed the animation slightly and looked something like Spider-Verse or Puss in Boots 2?
I didn't even bothered with part 2
Didn't saw ToyStory 4
Never seen any live action besides Alice
Won't see this
Honestly, the sequel, as bad as it was, set up a good status quo for more adventures from them, which I'd love to see, assuming they're closer in quality to the first one. Much closer.
I hope we see Elastigirl turns into things again
i got sexual vibes when she complimented dash on his stamina
How many more failures can Pixar do before Disney decides to close them down? Maybe if Toy Story 5 fails.
I want the movie to be about Violet and her real dad. Were her dad is a supervillain and Helen had a fling were she got pregnant before meeting bob. Violet finds out bob isn’t here real dad so she goes out to look for him.
at this point i would rather they just continue the Cars universe by making a new Plane film or that Metro concept
>Everyone is the size of a damn car
>the city is still as densely built as if humans built it.
I wonder if the final movie rot they make before disney dies brings up what happened to people.
I wouldn't be surprised if they were AI living in bio-containers inside the cars making them have lifespans that cannot just be transferred to another car.
Taxis in the Cars universe have no purpose.
i would think that Taxis are essentially the slaves of the Car universe
Why would there be trains in the cars universe? Who would want to be a train if you have to stay on tracks? Why would trains be needed if the citizens are cars who can drive themselves anywhere?
Will they make the villain a regular person yet again or will they actually have a supervillain with actual superpowers this time?
>yet more capeslop
FRICKING STOP.
give us a time skip
make helen's ass bigger
give her cellulite
>Time skip
Bwahahahaha.
How else they gonna sell Jack Jack plushies?
>finally get around to finishing 2
>not even a week later this happens
I appear to have been cursed, or blessed depending on point of view. What movies should I avoid, to ensure they don't suddenly get a shitty sequel like Incredibles 2? I'm willing to take one for the team.
Sing 2
Bad Guys
Zootopia
I actually kinda liked 2 despite it's issues, but I hope they go back to more of the tone of the first movie. Though I feel that's rather unlikely.
can't wait to see it lose the oscar again
I mean there was no way it was going to beat Spiderverse that year.
They really really really really really need to have a time skip. If it takes place right after 2 then it'll suffer from all of 2's problems. They need to inject some new family dynamics into the story to make it interesting.
It doesn't need to be a super long skip, it could be a couple years or so. Just enough for things to have changed so the characters have something to do.
>90s simpsons
>iron giant
>the incredibles
>ratatouille
CHAD Bird is nothing short of a hero. Whatever he makes next, I guarantee will be amazing.
That was back when he had juice, he hasn't made anything good in decades.
Don't forget that Bird also worked on The Critic
Is Helens va dead yet? She sounded like she had throat cancer in the second movie. Unless they make that a plot point in the 3rd I think that's a really bad idea.
It's just a lisp, pipe down. Now Marge's VA? SHE sounds like she's battling throat cancer
Holly Hunter just sounds like that, go watch her movies from the 90s she sounds the exact same.
sexy lisp
Because 2 was so good.
This page from a disney adventures book reveals that both Bob and Helen's last name were originally Golden, wonder if that's canon.
Forgot picture
That reminds me of how in the Disney Mirrorverse game that, when played in French, Violet's bio states that she took the superhero name Ultraviolet but it's not present in the English version of anywhere else I looked.
>When Violette "Indestructible" Parr performed a heroic act in public, she had to go incognito and adopt a new identity. With the help of Edna Mode, she resurfaced as the mysterious Ultraviolette! With enhanced force powers, she can protect herself as she can protect others. She can also blow away her enemies. It makes adolescence less difficult!
I like that. Disney should pick it up for English.
>Kid called Violet
>Has invisibility powers
>Superhero name "Ultraviolette"
Okay, that is a godawful hideous pun, but seeing as this is a cape show, you kinda have to go with it.
They probably can't actually call Violet that because of some kind of legal issue, like how Helen has to be marketed as "Mrs. Incredible" because Elastigirl is already taken by DC.
is it another plot where superheroing is reaccepted by the public because a normal person did tech stuff that caused problems
BRAAAAAAAAAAAAAP
If they do a sequel, the villain needs to be an evil alien of some kind. Maybe as part of some invading alien empire. That'd put the whole "supers argument" shit to bed once and for all.
The only good parts I remember about the Incredibles 2 were the parts where I was subconsciously reminded about the upcoming season of Better Call Saul
Looking forward to super family hijinks
Has anyone read this book?
From what I heard, it's just the first movie but with Violet in Bob's place.
wtf this looks like a fanfic
The Beauty and the Beast one is fricking insane. Aside from its base premise of "What if Belle's mom was the Enchantress that cursed the Beast?", you have the Asylum Keeper as the main villain obsessed with imprisoning and dissecting magical creatures.
That sounds interesting.
I'm shocked that I never heard of this. Seems like an interesting project.
They kind of are. It's part of an official book series that adds a "What If" spin on Disney films
Utter fricking waste if it's not written by some middle-aged AO3-inhaling Syndrome/Violet shipper sneaking shit past her bosses.
>Fricking Synlet bullshit again
cute
The one person who cares about the ship
Wouldn’t mind a 1-5 year timeskip in the third movie, but I don’t want to see Bob and Helen as retired seniors and all the kids as adults, it would ruin the whole point of the Incredibles.
Holy shit, the Uncanny meme guy is getting a movie?!
>hot goth character
>timeskip
>married with three kids of her own, separated from chad husband
You don't want this to happen to Violet. Be careful what you wish for.
Made for Sullivan D.
What I want:
>A Violet-centric movie.
>Violet learning how to better control her powers.
>Violet with Sadako hair again.
I'd love for her to become a villain as well, but that's not as important to me as the other three.
I just want cool fight scenes with creative uses of their powers. Violet vs Voyd was great. The general MCU crap of just shooting green blobs at each other in empty airport parking lots is so fricking boring.
>I just want cool fight scenes with creative uses of their powers. Violet vs Voyd was great.
The Violet-Voyd fight was the best scene in the entire movie, and it shows that Pixar can still be creative when they want to be. Too bad that didn't translate to the rest of the movie.
She's an angsty teenage girl with latent resentment towards her family members (Dash is annoying, Helen doesn't seem to care too much about what she's going through as a teen, Bob is willing to lie to her, Jack-Jack is troublesome), she wishes to be a normal girl with a normal life but is stuck with powers that make her a target for anyone with an ax to grind against supers (which could make her even more resentful), and she's the one Parr I can see murdering someone in a rage. Also,
.
> she's the one Parr I can see murdering someone in a rage.
I can see her coming very close to killing a baddie for calling her a joke only to be stopped by Bob and Helen. Then they suggest Violet to go to anger management.
Why do people want Violet to be a villain? Dash is the one with the ego problems that might lead him down that way.
>Why do people want Violet to be a villain?
It's hot.
Dash becomes jealous of Jack Jack and his powers, while Violet becomes more mature and wants to improve her relationship with her brothers before either of them turn evil.
What powers will Jack Jack have?
The polymorph?
What won't he have?
super speed
forcefields
invisibility
super strength
elasticity
ice powers
Laser eyes
Duplication
Pocket dimension
Polymorphing
Enough strength and intelligence to hold his own against a raccoon
And those are the ones from Incredibles 2.
You forgot the flame form.
Gremlin form seems to be a seperate thing that also makes him stronk.
I imagine all of the ones he had from the last movie, plus some new ones like able to read minds.
Adorable.
Nothing you say will change the truth. She's not ugly and she's not a hag.
>blonde father
>redhead mother
>black haired daughter
Defend this.
Anon, there's this new-fangled thing called "hair dye". Surely even a knuckle-dragging mouth-breather like you has heard of it.
her clothes aren't affected by her invisibility
Okay...? What does that have to do with what I said?
connect the dots
hair dye wouldn't turn invisible either
Just get Edna to whip something up. If she can make a suit that turns invisible with the wearer, hair dye that does the same should be ezpz.
Why? The second one already raped the IP enough as it is.
I didn't watch it.
Wasn't it just an excuse to show off Elastigirl's ass?
well shit
