The plot writing and dialog are the weakest points of the show, that doesnt bode well for a psycho horror show. They need a new writer for it to get better.

I really liked the weird playground world in the circus. I want to explore it. Most of the character designs are pretty good. I think the premise is alright, just wish the execution and writing was better. It also feels like too much happens in a short time. I also didn't like all the random humor, but I think the humor and writing probably caters to its target audience. It could turn out great. I don't understand the seethe its causing. Seems like people are irrationally angry at it for even existing.
Show is a cleverly constructed metaphor for the protagonists transitioning. The characters all represents aspects of her mental state and various illnesses. The ribbon thing is bipolar disorder, the chess piece agoraphobia, the rabbit internalized self-loathing and so on.
Only the ragdoll is without faults, representing the idealized female form, soft, matronly, nurturing... whereas the male clown - who vanishing is inmediately followed by the appearence of the girl clown hint hint - represents negative male traits like violence destruction and aggression.
Honestly it's just really clever writing and I can't wait to see where it goes. Even the chattering teeth which serve as a stand in for the loud, obnoxious and often confusing voice of systemic authority has been perfectly on point.

I really liked the weird playground world in the circus. I want to explore it. Most of the character designs are pretty good. I think the premise is alright, just wish the execution and writing was better. It also feels like too much happens in a short time. I also didn't like all the random humor, but I think the humor and writing probably caters to its target audience. It could turn out great. I don't understand the seethe its causing. Seems like people are irrationally angry at it for even existing.

Show is a cleverly constructed metaphor for the protagonists transitioning. The characters all represents aspects of her mental state and various illnesses. The ribbon thing is bipolar disorder, the chess piece agoraphobia, the rabbit internalized self-loathing and so on.
Only the ragdoll is without faults, representing the idealized female form, soft, matronly, nurturing... whereas the male clown - who vanishing is inmediately followed by the appearence of the girl clown hint hint - represents negative male traits like violence destruction and aggression.
Honestly it's just really clever writing and I can't wait to see where it goes. Even the chattering teeth which serve as a stand in for the loud, obnoxious and often confusing voice of systemic authority has been perfectly on point.
