Outside of Digimon Adventure, Omegamon is usually the leader of the Royal Knights like how Dukemon is a member of them. Alphamon is his counterpart/rival/whatever usually.

It's fundamentally a story about watching kids losing their childhood innocence but becoming smarter, kinder, better people. It never loses track of that even as it mixes in zany silly episodes and traumatic character deaths.

Implied nothing. There is no mention of them being together in Kizuna, and all the donut steel does in that movie is be a cameo. My guess is that wanted to make up for Tai get fricked over in 02, but didn't have the balls to go through with it. Oh and on the topic of 02, Tri undoes it. So we're back to Sora not knowing if she wants to frick Tai or Matt, both boys want to frick her, and several times they use the love triangle for gags.
It's supposed to, but no. Like I said earlier, Tri undoes 02, not just the ending, but the whole season. For example, Matt hasn't decided to be an astronaut in this movie like he does in 02. The movie only hints at this career path one time and never again. However, and this is where Tri falls apart, events from 02 must of happened to be included in this movie. Everyone knows that Ken is the digimon emperor, but for that to be true then 02 must of happened. Which means Sora is Matt's gf, Matt wants to be astronaut, and Tai no longer wants to frick Sora. Everything about Tri is messy with the timeline, and it's less like "End of Z" and more like the Super Broly movie, but it picks and chooses what part of Super it wants to use out of context, even if it doesn't make sense without it.

Yes. I'm rewatching all the old ones and it's still my favorite. I think Tamers is probably "better" but the OG is still my favorite. Wargreymon 4 life. It's clearly a show for kids but it pulls on your heartstrings and has a ton of heart. Watch it in Japanese if you never did as a kid, it's pretty rad

It's weird looking back at how crazy those late 90's early 2000's anime dubs were. There was no oversight (aside from 4kids dubs) and there was no direction. It was a bunch of low paid failed actors and failed musicians and no name editors/writers just giving their all because they had no where else to put it. Hard rock with insane rifts, adult jokes barely hidden, skipping boring/filler episodes because frick it, rewriting entire plots because they didn't have a translator and just had to guess. You legit couldn't make anything like it today.
It's still children's cartoons, so not putting it on a pedestal or anything, but frick, was there some crazy shit back then.
