Eh Inside Out seems to have a cult following for some fricking reason despite being the most boring Pixar film to date. I can only assume this is because 2015 was the last year before The Good Dinosaur when Disney began to no longer be the cemented mainstream darling everyone on Tumblr, their mother, and even outsiders loved. I give it 500 million, return profit but no where near the 800 million the first managed to hit with lukewarm reviews at best to "Wow what a fumble I hate nu Disney so fricking much" from both the usual Disney hate train suspects and weaponized women autists. Lightyear was doomed from the start for multiple reasons, this one won't be.
>being the most boring Pixar film to date
That's the good dinosaur, not the Inside Out. Inside Out's premise is actually interesting ulike the boring dinosaur
You see the parents' emotions and they've literally outright said multiple times that the emotions in the original were expressly selected to represent the wider range of human emotions in the smallest number of emotions they could manage.
>The big dramatic moment featuring this character in the climax: "We at Pixar will be presenting you our first truly realistic, scientifically accurate panic attack." >Every other moment: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_uYbCevTsv4
Why does it exist? Toy Story? Yeah, obvious. Cars? Purely there for merch, I get it. Incredible? People wanted a sequel for years. Monsters Inc and Dory, sure, they're all popular. Inside Out? Who the frick cared enough about the first one to warrant this??
kids who are afraid of change. that's it. that's literally the target audience
it's made for children so it will resonate with children
i loved it as a child and will probably be seeing the sequel as an adult (even though i'm almost certain they're going to destroy everything good about the original. i mean seriously is disney-pixar capable of kino anymore)
It's obviously going to be an embarrassment like Lightyear you delusional ass

Your sense of taste is broken
More boring than Good Dinosaur? Onward? Lightyear? Elemental? Brave? The fricking Cars franchise?

nah, you're just a bitter homosexual
>Creating new emotions even though the first movie showed that there are only four
Is it ok to ignore your own rules for the sake of storytelling?
>for the sake of storytelling?
You mean "for the sake of marketing".
Those emotions probably go away after you pass puberty
>Third movie about emotions dying
If you paid attention to the movie, you'd know that the emotions got introduced one by one as the MC got older and progressed through childhood
And if you paid attention to the movie, you'd know we saw the parents' emotions.

I fricking hate those cringy animations, they're garbage. I don't know why peopel swallow that garbage along with those grotesque "parodies"
My town doesn't have IMAX anymore.

two reasons
>marketing to adult-children so they can scream
WOW THATS JUST LIKE ME
and
>pedophiles
because Inside Out was succescful. Basic marketing strategy. The Good Dinosaur would never get a sequal.

Underage b-
>Oldest definition of a child is 12
>Movie came out in 2015
>Anon could conceivably 21 and as young as 18
Oh my
i'm sorry anon. time is passing and eventually you will too
You misunderstand my post, I implore you to fully watch the gif, oh legal friend of mine.
what if you drank antifreeze
What if you dropped your pants boy?
Will it actually have IMAX scenes? Say the real world scenes in cinemascope while Riley's head in IMAX aspect ratio
What is this emotion meant to be?
Horny?
Anxiety. Because expanding Fear as a character wasn't viable.
Let's guess the plot!
>isn't an embarrassment like Lightyear.
Who are you kidding?
Whenever anxiety is portrayed it’s always tumblr shit and seen as quirky horse shit that should be embraced.
>No horny
Pixar cucked out.
That would get in the way of making them lame and gay
