Oh it Is weird and interesting how certain Big Events are SKIPPED by the actual real character and instead it was someone else behind that mask.
Like for example in The Jim Shooter's Secret Wars Iron Man wasn't Tony, but Rowdy. Because at that time in the comics Rowdy was https://youtu.be/nB7iUjUggJA?t=39
In Invincible War despite what some may think the "Spawn" wasn't actually The Al Simmons formerly black guy one, but Jim Drowning who was Spawn II legacy character (rarest when white guy becomes legacy character after black instead of ther other way around) because Al was "dead" at that time. It was Spawn II was actually fought in that war. In fact that is the Only time ANY Spawn appears in Invincible comic. I was surprised that when I am checking right now there isn't Spawn even during funeral of GotGs.
Similarly how in Mark Millar's civil war Daredevil was actually Iron Fist dressed up. Also Civil War took place AFTER Spider Queen arc so at that time Peter Parker had organic webs instead of web shooters with liquid ywnbaw artifical "web"
Fron what I remember, Image crossovers aren't really meant to be taken seriously in the same way as Marvel or DC in that they tend to be casual or just thrown in for fun by the authors, not that they're like important plot details that have an effect on each other's series.
Well. Marvel Comics shouldn't be taken serious either. With concepts like Big House directly raping its old lore simply for a joke of a concept of mighty villains shrunk into weak doll-sized versions and stuck into miniature prison for She-Hulk comic by Dan fricking Slopp, even though per normal lore shrinking with Pym particles supposed to make them EVEN MORE DANGEROUS, especially people who already had super strenght.
Frick off, this is sexy. Imagine She-Hulk making them worship her feet or using them as sex toys
>per normal lore shrinking with Pym particles supposed to make them EVEN MORE DANGEROUS
That has almost never been the case even in old comics. Shrinking = getting weaker in 99% of comics. Wasp can confirm. I can recall her and Pym getting owned by Graviton with a spinning pencil in an old Avengers book.
>That has almost never been the case even in old comics.
Not after Ant-Man retcon
>Shrinking = getting weaker in 99% of comics. Wasp can confirm. I can recall her and Pym getting owned by Graviton with a spinning pencil in an old Avengers book.
You are probably referencing all shit written by non-Stan Lee post Ant-Man retcon writers
I won't disagree, but it is still moronic and they are moronic for ruining canon.
IQ issue.
What do you mean by that
>Also Civil War took place AFTER Spider Queen arc so at that time Peter Parker had organic webs instead of web shooters with liquid ywnbaw artifical "web
That happened because of The Other, not the moronic Spider Queen arc.
you are moronic The Other is 2005 arc , Spider Queen is 2004 arc literally the necessary for The Other to even happen in the first fricking place are you fricking nuts.
It is like saying Wonder Woman has her lasso because of Wonder Woman #1 and not because of Sensational Comics #6 WHERE LASSO FRICKING DEBUTED ARE YOU NUTS DO YOU THING THIS IS FUNNY
you frick off canon >>>>> fetish + weakining/"world just scaled Up" from shrinking is moronic concept anyways, one of those things where superhero comics are billion times superior to "serious sci-fi" (but actually superhero comics were always superior to "serious" books, especially superhero comics from original creators, not slopp morons which basically write shitty deviantart fanfiction when you compare it with Real stuff). Unless it is something like The Spectre that is just beyond any kind of rules and limitations, but The Spectre is basically a fantasy anyways .
>
He didn't get organic powers until The Other though did he
but He literally did
OCTOber 20 2004
And yes, to have synergy with Raimi's sequel.
Funny how Peter's organic webs started because of the movie with Dr Octo Octavius and ended when Den Slopp the fanboy of Dr Octo Octavius took over Spider titles in 2010 (but perhaps also to coincide with upcoming Webb reboot)
Even tho reading modern Marvel comics immedietally after becoming "familiar" with these characters from movies will always be a schizo enabling endeavor
There was a disassembled arc in spectacular that was a pseudo crossover with the avengers event that had pete and cap team up against the spider queen, in that arc pete got transmogrified into a spider and when he got better he had organic webbing for movie synergy purposes. The Other is more of a classic anime style power up where he got physically stronger could stick in different ways and got stingers under his wrists. The story lines are probably seperated by about two or three years, and I don’t remember JMS even using organic webs UNTIL the other happened so I can understand the confusion
What is this
thread about famous main characters that skipped major events due to parallel continuity
Justice League Vs. Avengers, the only one of it's kind had Ben Reilly fill in as Spider-man instead of Peter Parker.
Oh yeah, forgot that one. True!
By Bulletproof but he is black guy who had his fricking girlfriend kill his (mean) parents and then they stuffed their bodies in the care and dumped it as if they died in car crash
Originally Mark was supposed to wear that suit and to be called Bulletproof but then they changed + aped on maybe shove character as an Image true mascot like Superman/Batman for DC or Spider-Man for Marvel bearing same letter.
But in true OG comics fashion they didn't discard ideas and simply made another character.
Similar how originally Super-Man was bald telepathic villain turned "super" from experiment, then bulletrproof and strong hero (originally also turned super after experiement), but then (in Siegel original comics) after some time Superman in Action Comics too gained some limited mind control and hypnotic abilities (before , for example heat vision which was introduced only year later Siegel left DC comics and character for the first time) and then Ultra-Humanite was created who was paralized (to be full anti-Superman) human that gained tremendous intellect after experiements, and after some issues Luthor was debuted and then after some also became bald.
Wasn't Invincible replaced by another super in his suit for a good chunk of his series?
