I never understood why he fricked off from earth when they need to breed, arent all those kids siblings? Hows the dating scene supposed to work in this mutt empire?
They need to "spread peace" in the galaxy, by conquering everyone against their will. Invincible goes full commie at the end, since Kirkman became a tankie.
Dude, the coalation only existed to keep that cyberpunk shithole afloat at that point. Alan is the one that doesnt want to give up all that tax money. Very fitting Alan gets voiced by a israelite.
Yeah the Coalition should totally be replaced by the insane empire who tried to conquer the universe because the current leader looks like a nice person and you can totally trust him and be sure the next hereditary leader will totally not be a corrupt frick

>WAAAAAAAAAA I CANT GO ON GENOCIDING WARPATH UNCHECKED IM SO OPRESSSED REEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Nah, Mark is right. Why do they need a government stealing tax money if their is already peace? Seems like a moronic idea to have a huge central government just stealing money from people for basically no reason.
Wans't the ending supposed to be Mark turning into a tyrant like his alternate versions?
That's how I felt about the ending, it really looks like in the end Mark wans't different than all his other alternate versions and Robot was right about him.
not really, there is implication that robot might cause the future where Immortal goes mad and becomes a tyrant so maybe Invincible because detached enough to not care about Earth or just stop checking in
But he turned into a dictator, executed a few defenseless characters and gave up being a superhero though, he also fricked up the confederation and allowed Robot to stay in power with Immortal acting as his babysitter. That's just like what the other alternate Marks did but the crazier ones, that's exactly what Robot and Levy said he was going to do.
Nah, Robot is absolutely not in control. Immortal is the one calling the shots and ultimately vetoing anything he dislikes that Robot suggests. Robot is just an idea factory.

it's a good combination really, super intelligence and an inhuman wealth of worldliness and experience.
No he basically makes the full transition to Superman-Dad, then turns his whole society into a race of altruistic Supermen. The comic literally ends with him smiling to camera amidst a utopian future surrounded by a loving immortal family
>No he basically makes the full transition to Superman-Dad, then turns his whole society into a race of altruistic Supermen. The comic literally ends with him smiling to camera amidst a utopian future surrounded by a loving immortal family

The very idea of "utopia" is inherently flawed after all.
false, it becomes a monarchy space empire again and the republic that Allen represents crumbles and Mark stands over a defeated old Allen. it's monarchist propaganda
Basically, he goes around space spreading his "good morals" to every savage alien species he comes across, which is what commies think they're doing whenever they invade countries or rebel
I would say neoliberals lol the Commies at least from what I know assumed le revolution would surpass all lines and the world would be a commie utopia after the uprising
Viltrumites became the universe's police under his rule for better or worse. Also he sort of left Earth for too long which leads to Immortal going insane from living too long and becoming a tyrant which leads to a rebellious faction going back in time and recruiting present Mark to go into the future to stop Immortal.
I always wondered why mark did that? Why did he allow this to happened I mean he had to know it would? Was this his way of saving frick the timeline aliens?
He thought he was side-stepping it by leaving Robot's brain, there. Authorial intent is that he accidentally created that future in doing so.
But also that Immortal's tyranny will just be a blip, and things will get back on track before long. Marky will head back, eventually.
Except the Viltrumites are inherently evil and Mark is moronic for thinking otherwise. He should have let the virus get to earth and finish their kind off. As he proved from opposing the Coalition, he’s just a bloodthirsty tyrant.
>Everyone living happily ever after >I dunno, looks like COMMUNISM TO ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!
How did red scare cuck westerners so hard? They never suffered under communism, yet they are the first to foam at the mouth at mere mentioning of it.
Its the opposite, people insert their bias, people who dislike X will call it buzzwords, people who like it will call its actually their prefered bias tha won in the end. The world is full of morons
I don't think its "commie", just silly. you can't fix the world like that. What is weird since invincible already did some arcs with mark trying to "decide the greater good" and it ended up with millions dying, i'm talking about he helping the dino guy because he thought he knew better than everyone.
>I never understood why he fricked off from earth when they need to breed
He fears what having viltrumites on Earth could attract as Earth is essentially a paper planet they could accidentally tear apart while trying to protect it.
To the planet itself, nothing. Mark was decidedly not a planet-buster in the first arc.
But that reminds me: half-viltrumites gain their powers at random ages. Imagine what a powered half-viltrumite can do to an unpowered one.
Perhaps they'd have to be homeschooled in small groups, and separated (maybe for many years) whenever one of them gains power.
All the remaining 50 pure blooded Viltrumites supposedly had children at this point, Mark did not want Earth to become Viltrum 2.0, their supreme dominant genes would eventually convert all of humanity in thousands of years of breeding, there would be no humanity left.
I still feel like there are at least 1000 people in that crowd who could easily take on mark
although remind me again why they made mark the veltrumite emperor?
Imagine having a ruling bloodline that lead your people through a millenia of utopian abundance AND another millenia where they conquered the galaxy. Couple that with dealing with an butthole regent tyrant that almost lead your people to extinction and you will understand why the Argall bloodline is obeyed without question. Nolan's first order was to just chill and frick on a vacation planet lmao.
So, does there exist a stable ideology that achieves a utopian future? Or is any ideology just a form of self-interest disguised under righteous causes and whatnot, and thus always destined to fall apart into an endless cycle of conflict?
You're describing a contradiction where a stable ideology can create an eternal, everlasting perfect society. Idealogies and the societies they guide need to change according to evolving circumstances, it's why the goal is to create a more perfect society even if you can never create a truly perfect society. The very idea of "utopia" is inherently flawed after all.
>Or is any ideology just a form of self-interest disguised under righteous causes and whatnot, and thus always destined to fall apart into an endless cycle of conflict?
Basically yes, no ideology is perfect and it is impossible for them to adapt to everything without completely changing their way of thinking, eventually they will self-destruct again or something will destroy them and the few survivors will repeat the mistakes of the past until the species becomes extinct.
Yes, the universe is meaningless and material utopia is irrelevant for inteligent species because of subjectiveness of individuals. And now you are free, live as you want.
There are no perfect people
Any ideology will fall apart when it comes into contact with people
Their attempts to reengineer people will cause even more horrors
I still find Battlebeast's race to be quite funny. I mean they are a feline race that can potentially fight Viltrumites off, but they are a whole race of cowardly lions with only one "alpha" lion going off to set things straight only to head into the stars to satiate their unending lust for battle.
Like holy hell spoilers kino they immediately gave up once Thragg and the rest of the Thraxan viltrumites rolled into their planet. They even praised Thragg for bringing Battlebeast back to their homeworld but as a coat.
>I mean they are a feline race that can potentially fight Viltrumites off
Battlebeast daughter easily defeated an entire army of them by herself so their species as a whole is nowhere near a Viltrumite, only the cursed ones are.
What are you talking about? No, their race are nowhere near as strong as Viltrumites, Battle Beast was a singularity, he was cursed and became much stronger than his race as a result of it.
Different cape. Battle Beast is put on the cloak Freddie Mercury uses when he takes over the bug people. Mark wears the one that's thousands of years old and worn by the dynastic line of Viltrumite rulers.
Invincible's ending has some questionable ethics to it but it's nowhere near as insufferable as AoT's ending >thanks for becoming a mass murderer for our sake
Eren didn't really stop the war, he simply delayed it long enough for his friends to live their lives in peace, the war resumed when the other nations returned to take revenge.

But he still won, he spared 20% of the world outside the island, that was his plan, he didn't want to fully eradicate humanity, he simply wanted to make them too weak to destroy his country then made it look like he lost and paradis goverment stopped him so the survivors would be grateful and not wage war against them
They changed the scene in the anime so that Armin and everyone calls out Eren for trying to be Lelouch and he fully admits he was comitting genocide to mainly achieve his dream, Invincible did something sort of similar in the recent episode where Mark is a lot more pissed and skeptical of Omni-Man than in the comic
The bug half of their DNA causes them to grow up a lot faster, than when the Viltrumite DNA takes over its basically overrides the other half. Half breeds becomes pure breeds
beats me
the voice acting for thula, lucan, and even MARK suck ass
its jarring as frick when J.K. Simmons or Clancy Brown perform flawlessly
then theres Peter Cullen doing a autobot voice for some reason
Mark's voice acting us fantastic wtf, and JK Simmons phoned it in horribly last episode
I would say Mark and Kregg are the only decent ones recently despite the bad diaglodue, but that's not to say Cullen and Simmons are bad VAs.
I'm guessing that it comes down to bad direction. Maybe they're rushed and only do one/two takes? Maybe they're recording independently? Who knows.
I'm yet to be impressed by Kregg. Sure his deliveries were good, but it was a situation where his character isn't actually reacting to anything or having a conversation. Just talking at Mark. Easiest situation to voice. I'll hold judgment until he gets a real scene with other characters
It's across the board. There's been a LOT of flat/weak deliveries. Feels like they're meeting the minimum and moving on, instead of actually going for good reads. Maybe some sort of production issue or a new shitty voice director.
Unironically Skybound Animation is fairly small and seems like one of those companies that the main Skybound branch slapdashed together just to produce the show.
Kirkman is jealous of all the money Cereal Lord made from Warner Brothers for literally just spitballing his teen fan fic ideas into live action TV and cinema, and even way more jealous of the many millions Goat Licker made from Netflix by selling off his brilliant 'idea factory' to them and he wants that dosh from his Bald Billionaire.
You don't think he's actually going to waste money on salary and staff when he can spend cheaply and pocket the change?
What is with the small time skip before Viltrumite War? Got a cliffhanger where Cecil wants to talk to Mark after he murdered that astronaut, but then next issue we don't see that and fricking Nolan showed up and we didn't see that happen? Feels like a whole issue is missing.
I really hope they do a 180 on the low budget low blood fight scenes by the time the best fight in the series happens in another season or 2. It needs to be a bloody tornado of furious brutality. Spare no detail, right down to hand drawn blood and spit flying off of Thokk, frame by frame, when he declares that this is his LIFE. And I want to hear the momentary shock, pain, and fear delivered through Thragg's voice when he gets caught off guard by this horrific chomp before his anger resurfaces stronger than ever a moment later.
Is Invincible War ever mentioned in Spawn? Or should I just assume that was a guy that looks like Spawn but isn't? Because it is absurd to think they're in the same universe.
Levi said most tend to go bad, 40% of them have their secret identity blown, and when the 8 evil Marks were talking the survivor said most were raised by their dad before pussy tamed him
the storytime that got me into Invincible was so jarring. one day kino, the next day stuff like your pic. Idk why they let those other frickers draw at all, must be a union thing.
>wait 2 years for season 2 >only 4 episodes
I might as well read the comics. Btw based off the progression of the first season and a half, how many seasons of Invincible are we realistically going to get and how much source material have they cut already?
I was so pissed off by the drop in quality in GOT that I read the books and was amazed by not only how shit the show actually was but how many seasons we could've had if they didn't cut so much source material. I'm guessing the same shit happened here especially after everyone was shitting on the unnecessary race swaps.
In 13 episodes they covered about 31 comic issues, out of 144. The show is skipping several mini arcs to focus on the most important stuff directly tied to the main cast, the world in the show is a lot more condensed, the comics wanted to show a world as big as most Marvel/DC cape comics have with many super hero factions around.
Anyway, Kirkman himself stated he could adapt the entire series in 7 Seasons or so. When Season 1 ended Amazon had greenlit 3 Seasons in advance, they probably want to see how the show performs in the upcoming years to decide if they greenlit the rest.
Anissa's death was the biggest bullshit in the bullshit this comic could have produced.
Instead of having either reconciled or repented what she did to Mark. She gets written out without having to face the consequences because Kirkman didn't know what to do.
Frick this comic.
She has mental limiters that she can only get around if her life is in danger. That time she healed Mark she still had enough "mental block"-free reality bending powers to do it.
It's bullshit, but it's also comic books so whatever.

>get mark to punch her through the gut >heal her and de-age mark
problem solved
I swear Kirkman forgot about Immortal hating Nolan. They never interact after Nolan returns. You just see them fight in space together. No fricking way Immortal would forgive him
>How long do Viltrumites live via old age?
We have no idea
Some are thousands of years old and show no signs of stopping, Mark seems to above 500 at a minimum at the very end and his sides are gray but Thragg was at least a thousand and didn't have any so who knows
I think what happens is that you mature like a human, then the process begins to slow. Basically you hit what Nolan is, then stay like that for a few thousand years. Forget how old the elder Viltrumite was that wounded Eve
A bit of a random nitpick but it wouñd be nice if the imoortant viltrumites through the series got their own custom uniforms. Seeing the same white and grey one all the time is boring
>All the people laughing at Nolan for breeding with bugs who only live a year
Its funny how these morons dont get thats literally how Nolan saw humans in the beginning, weak creatures with tiny lifespans
He’s a deadbeat dad so probably doesn’t support child support
give to Thragg what is Thragg’s, and to God what is God's
I never understood why he fricked off from earth when they need to breed, arent all those kids siblings? Hows the dating scene supposed to work in this mutt empire?
I thought there were only 50 vilturmites left. Why are there thousands here? This is before the time skip so they can’t be their kids
The half-thraxans

He fears what having viltrumites on Earth could attract as Earth is essentially a paper planet they could accidentally tear apart while trying to protect it.

>your only son gets his first highschool girlfriend

It’s alright he left his son on earth to spread the Viltrumites seed

So, does there exist a stable ideology that achieves a utopian future? Or is any ideology just a form of self-interest disguised under righteous causes and whatnot, and thus always destined to fall apart into an endless cycle of conflict?
Viltrum before Argall's assination
The utopian problem comes from people changing, not the ideas. Pick any side and they all become a fricked when not willing to compromise or adapt.
Whether Hitler, Stalin, or fricking Jesus, no one gives a shit as long as you let them move as they like.
>So, does there exist a stable ideology that achieves a utopian future?
Everyone gets sex bot caretaker.
The frick was that alien that made the alternate universe shit.

I don't think it's the same. It's missing the head.
they probably made it that way to look more aesthetic and less insulting to the guy's race
I'm pretty sure he'd be completely fine with a strong as frick dude like Mark wearing him.
I still find Battlebeast's race to be quite funny. I mean they are a feline race that can potentially fight Viltrumites off, but they are a whole race of cowardly lions with only one "alpha" lion going off to set things straight only to head into the stars to satiate their unending lust for battle.

Battlebeast daughter easily defeated an entire army of them by herself so their species as a whole is nowhere near a Viltrumite, only the cursed ones are.

>Put ‘em up! PUT ‘em UP!

Different cape. Battle Beast is put on the cloak Freddie Mercury uses when he takes over the bug people. Mark wears the one that's thousands of years old and worn by the dynastic line of Viltrumite rulers.
And it's comfy
The normie debates about this when the show gets to it in like 2032 will be mad annoying
It will possibly be a new Attack on Titan finale
Invincible's ending has some questionable ethics to it but it's nowhere near as insufferable as AoT's ending
>thanks for becoming a mass murderer for our sake
AoT finale is hilarious for how it made normies actually wish the MC would have won and commit mass genocide.
he won tho, he spared milhions of survivors and then kill himself in a way that would look like assassinatiom to end the war
Eren didn't really stop the war, he simply delayed it long enough for his friends to live their lives in peace, the war resumed when the other nations returned to take revenge.
But he still won, he spared 20% of the world outside the island, that was his plan, he didn't want to fully eradicate humanity, he simply wanted to make them too weak to destroy his country then made it look like he lost and paradis goverment stopped him so the survivors would be grateful and not wage war against them
that's what Cinemaphile wanted, normies don't like Eren and mostly liked the finale, which made Cinemaphile mad all over again
He should have. His enemies were willing to genocide his people.
But he did commit mass genocide, 80% of the worlds population is dead
So the Robot who was around for most of the first season is actually dead?
Yes but there's 0 distinction between first and second robot(rexbot) since the memory copy was perfect. Only thing different is the hormones

There are no good animation studios in America that can handle a project like this

Hollywood actors as VAs and liscensed music are more important than animation in an animated series.

What is with the small time skip before Viltrumite War? Got a cliffhanger where Cecil wants to talk to Mark after he murdered that astronaut, but then next issue we don't see that and fricking Nolan showed up and we didn't see that happen? Feels like a whole issue is missing.
There is, you have to read a seperate one-shot special. It caught me offguard too when I was binging the comoc
God dammit, binging a comic that has spinoffs is so annoying
Invincible Returns is what you need to read
I really hope they do a 180 on the low budget low blood fight scenes by the time the best fight in the series happens in another season or 2. It needs to be a bloody tornado of furious brutality. Spare no detail, right down to hand drawn blood and spit flying off of Thokk, frame by frame, when he declares that this is his LIFE. And I want to hear the momentary shock, pain, and fear delivered through Thragg's voice when he gets caught off guard by this horrific chomp before his anger resurfaces stronger than ever a moment later.
PLEASE MAKE ME FEEL THIS FIGHT, AMAZON!!!
I know they won't, though.
Fricking greedy bastards.
I agree completely. That's so far ahead, that the budget is probably going to get a lot better, or a lot worse.
Could be worse. Could be Eeyore.
Why cast Cullen when he will clearly die before the series ends? Even JK Simmons is pretty old, could retire
Cullen's character will die by season four so Peter has to still be alive by at least 2025-2026
Is Invincible War ever mentioned in Spawn? Or should I just assume that was a guy that looks like Spawn but isn't? Because it is absurd to think they're in the same universe.
Multiple universes. One of the evil Mark's killed his universe's Spawn.
Spawn exists in Invincible but Invincible doesn't exist in Spawn. Just Image Comics shenanigans
So what is the implication?
That most Marks go bad or get yoinked by Daddy Nolan?
I believe it was that majority of Mark's go bad or die
Would've been nice for a few good Marks to show up too just for the frick of it.
>jots that fanfic idea down
>Infinity Universes
>Went to 100 bad ones
>DUDE DO MOST MARKS GO BAD?
I'm just joking I don't know if there's infinite universes in this shit
>100
it was 20 tops
11 of them probably died on earth and 9 were sent to the wasteland dimension
It was 8, get your facts strait
I like that one to the top right of bald Mark.
>100 evil Marks
Didn't Cecil nab some
Levi said most tend to go bad, 40% of them have their secret identity blown, and when the 8 evil Marks were talking the survivor said most were raised by their dad before pussy tamed him
>It's an issue not drawn by Ottley and Rathburn
the storytime that got me into Invincible was so jarring. one day kino, the next day stuff like your pic. Idk why they let those other frickers draw at all, must be a union thing.
How did Tech Jacket survive for 2 weeks without water? Does his suit provide nutrients? Shan't be reading his comic
His suit does everything even combs and showers him he doesn't need to eat if he wants
Name a more devastating moment
what season would invincible war be?
Season 4 or 5
He’s not smart enough for that. He just goes around conquering and terrorizing the rest of the universe. The bad guys won in the end.
A fricking yoyo..
A nice solid rate of 7%.
Also since kreeg had kids with all those women they'll all become viltrimites?
Why do the Viltrumites have a chihuahua?
Because they’re evil.
That might be le Bruisier. Or her kid from when she hooked up with that one stray.
>wait 2 years for season 2
>only 4 episodes
She died in the same panel that Nolan had his entire torso ripped apart lmao.
Are thraxan viltrumite hybrids weaker than human viltrumite hybrids?
yes, still pretty strong.
Yeah, by quite a bit. A lot of them were splattering themselves by slamming into Mark.
>your wife fricks a blue Black person but you get to hit that every day for the rest of yoir immortal life
wat do bros.....
Mark is not immortal, he just ages more slowly, Eve is immortal, surely she will have to look for someone else when Mark dies of old age.
cant she just heal his aging or qwhatever
she cannot affect living beings.
but she healed mark when he got ripped in half
She has mental limiters that she can only get around if her life is in danger. That time she healed Mark she still had enough "mental block"-free reality bending powers to do it.
It's bullshit, but it's also comic books so whatever.
>get mark to punch her through the gut
>heal her and de-age mark
problem solved
Viltrimutes dont die of old age, they get slain.
If Eve gets exploded shes done, her power only works if she is near death, not destroyed.
how can mark be a commie? he barely spent time in college.
holy FRICK THE CONQUEST FIGHT WAS SO GOOD
oliver is literally the worst character in invincible and kirkman should've gotten rid of him sooner
Punk Eve <3
Hey look! It’s Lake from Infinity Train!
I swear Kirkman forgot about Immortal hating Nolan. They never interact after Nolan returns. You just see them fight in space together. No fricking way Immortal would forgive him
Yeah but Immortal is a punk ass b***h what is he gonna do about it? Read the Gettysburg Address as he gets bisected for the 100th time?
>Invincible
>its not Humanity Frick Yeah
>not about humans ending as the top dogs
Meh, no thanks, for that i read Xeelee sequence
Well it turns out human sex is more powerful than the Coalition of Planets and the rest of the universe
How long do Viltrumites live via old age? Theoretically couldn't Eve learn to de age Mark like she does with her own body?
>How long do Viltrumites live via old age?
We have no idea
Some are thousands of years old and show no signs of stopping, Mark seems to above 500 at a minimum at the very end and his sides are gray but Thragg was at least a thousand and didn't have any so who knows
I think what happens is that you mature like a human, then the process begins to slow. Basically you hit what Nolan is, then stay like that for a few thousand years. Forget how old the elder Viltrumite was that wounded Eve
Conquest? He was only 35 actually he's just from Viltrumite England
Its probably just about forever, Thaedus was already old when he killed Argall like 10000 years before the story starts
