The main selling point for stuff like Invincible is that it has an actual plot that develops over time, rather than the endless episodic reset autism of Marvel/DC slop. You need to have a special brand of autism to be able to actually be invested in plots that we all known are completely meaningless.
People get mad about remakes in other forms of media but when it comes to mainstream comics, suddenly it's fine that they've been essentially being remade constantly for generations. Literally just create new characters and stories; I don't give a single frick about Spider Man's 5,000,000th "new" plotline.
