I never admitted any such thing. Learn how to read anon, if its not too hard for your roomtemp IQ brain.
IQ is a predictor of intelligence, and it works better at a societal level than individual testing. It is not a hard score like life is some kind of video game. Thinking a high score on an IQ test automatically makes one a genius is like thinking getting the most vaccines automatically makes one a good a person.
And don't forget that there are many factors that can have a serious effect on IQ score like education and background, practising the test, ADHD. IQ scores can change significantly as you age too.
Headcanon but it always came off like Jesse had some undiagnosed personality disorder like BPD or something. People with BPD often come off as absolute idiots but can surprise you sometimes. Submissive male BPDs always end up druggies.
>My IQ is 140 and I post here.

t.136, did the wais or wisc or whatever that shit’s called with a psychologist as a kid.
Hello - I scored a 175 as an 11-year-old. I am not a 175 IQ; I'm a 125.
Anything you did as a kid does not count, I'm afraid. It's far too unreliable. You're almost certainly still significantly above average, though. I recommend getting tested again if you'd like to be posting your IQ in forums.
I’ve been told it doesn’t change that much with age but whatever. I wouldn’t get tested again because I’m a loser with enough self-awareness to know that boasting about the magic reddit number is just cope, I only posted it itt to justify my opinion on mensa members that anon seemed to overestimate.

How does relate to the previous statement and why would having a mere 136 IQ as a child make you think you have any idea?
No, I think you just don't understand how irrelevant a child IQ test is. Also you should explain how you 'know' MENSA is 'a bunch of greasy fedora tipping redditors enlightened by their own intelligence' when you're too low IQ to even be allowed in the same room as someone in MENSA.

AVERAGE isn't magically encompassed by one number on an IQ test
Like someone else already told you, 100 is baseline
The Average score is meant to be 100, yes
But what he is saying is Average IQ is a range, which it is.
Look at every IQ chart and you see most people fall with-in 85-115, that is the average IQ bracket
https://www.google.com/search?q=average+IQ+bracket&oq=average+IQ+bracket&aqs=chrome..69i57j33i160.3204j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8

This seems like a way to make under hundies feel normal.
That's the baseline for the test. But actual average among people is about 110-115. Still, it doesn't say anything about your ability to do stupid stuff.
He isn't as dumb as they make it out to be, he made high quality meth in a shady mexican lab and was smart enough to figure out Saul let Walt poison the Hispanic child. But he isn't anywhere near above average.
>But what he does learn he seems very proficient in.
No discipline and motivation in general but when devoted to a single cause can exceed expectations, he's an underachiever in that regard. I know, because I am that.
Exactly, he lacks any consciousness, but not intelligence. His whole character was meant to be someone who the school/family system had failed and he escaped to a life of drugs despite having enormous potential.
Not everything about being smart is analytical some intelligence is not measurable in a subjective way someone can be really smart about reading a person or planning for all possibilities in a situation like professional athlete or a police interrogator. In broader terms IQ is general test of someone's intellectual capabilities and their ability to problem solve but in a real world aspect people involved in certain professions or different environments and much more adapt at understanding and reading subtle nuances related to said things. A good example being how someone who is a life time convict might be able to instantly sense tension in room with no knowledge of a situation by observing several things the untrained eye would miss. Or blacksmith can tell if a billet is ready to be forged on an anvil because of the way the steel looks.
Gus was probably born into crime and is fueled by revenge. Mike doesn't care if he lives or dies, and basically has a death wish anyway because of his son so he's willing to take the high risk high pay job
Don't really know what you mean by that. A man with the highest IQ on record worked as a bouncer. Some Wall Street bros are absolute morons and rolling in millions. The information you're exposed to can have a huge affect on what you end up doing.
>highest IQ on record
I just googled this and the first result was some woman. Underneath it said 'to this date, only 2 people have ever been higher"
WHY THE FRICK SHOW ME THIS DUMB prostitute THEN GOOGLE????
Google is notorious for this shit. Ever notice how many young women are revealed to, "omg have a totally higher IQ than even Einstein."
When there's no way of us actually knowing what Einstein's IQ ever was and that there were several people, even in his field, who apparently had even higher IQs than him.
Don't really know what you mean by that. A man with the highest IQ on record worked as a bouncer. Some Wall Street bros are absolute morons and rolling in millions. The information you're exposed to can have a huge affect on what you end up doing.
Saul's ability to think on his feet is impressive, he clearly has a very fast processor up there but I am not sure how educated he is
It is said by Kim he studied really hard for the Bar and failed 2 times before passing
That's not true, it has a great deal to do with it. There's only so much raw talent can do for you without being honed. Twin studies alone prove this, if it weren't already obvious common sense. Education isn't just about acquiring explicit knowledge, it's about training the brain to think in diverse and fluid ways that allow one to more quickly adapt to future novel situations. It's the reason you were made to learn so many different things in school that you insisted you were "never going to use".. assuming you didn't go to a terrible school.

There are few things more sadly comical than a low-IQ individual trying to tell a high-IQ individual that he isn't intelligent because the low-IQ individual is incapable of comprehending that there are levels of intellect beyond his own.

not the guy but schooling doesn't represent your intelligence at all. You're not given any chance to exploit anything and come out on top. That is the biggest factor of human intelligence, it's true.
Jimmy is intelligent but highly neurotic and this sabotages his ability to succeed except when the chips are down and he has nothing to lose, then he excels.
He's like the Kaiji of anime.
This is stupid, Jesse would've died way earlier if his was 90's. There's also no way any one with a PHD in a had science has a measly IQ of 135. My IQ is literally 100-110 and both jesse and hank seem smarter than me.
I did the IQ test after I got diagnosed with schizophrenia. I never got the results. The doctor said the illness might effect my IQ. Maybe I didn't even do the test.
Nah you probably did the test, IQ tests are often used to determine disorders or illnesses. But often it wouldn't give you a valid IQ score because these tests aren't made for people with weird brains, it just woupd have no value to tell you the score because it would be inaccurate. I've heard stuff like depression can tank your IQ score like crazy.
>muh walt 140 IQ
What in god's name did Walt actually do that was so INTELLIGENT, besides his "le chemistry project" backstory.
All I remember from this show is watching him constantly panic and just barely managing to survive in the drug game literally by the seat of his pants, until he couldn't survive it anymore and died.
Is it because he made a homemade flashbang once? That shit was so fricking goofy.
He manipulated everyone in his life, Hank, Jesse, Gus, Saul, Mike, etc.
>He was a master manipulator
Walt was consistently depicted to be a terrible fricking liar, he hatched a few clever plans but most of his attempts to manipulate other people failed
The only person he could manipulate was Jesse, and Jesse was an idiot
>but most of his attempts to manipulate other people failed
For example?
They failed over time, sure, but I wouldn't call that a failure. She was suspicious and paranoid, and he lied to her for a long time before he was eventually found out.
A failure would be if he lied to Skylar and she caught him right away.
Lots of people manipulate others, hell the average oedipal mother can manipulate everyone in her life and doesn't need a >100 IQ for it. This really does nothing to solidify Walt as some legendary "genius".
Most people don't manipulate with a huge and complex scheme in mind, they usually manipulate for short-term goals.
It's the willingness to manipulate others is often tied to personality traits that come with high intelligence, like psycopathy. It's why CEOs are overrepresented among the population.

A woman having an IQ higher than average is almost as rare as a unicorn. There's a biological reason for this, as women are essentially a mating control group. Most genetic variation exists within men. Men have the highest highs and the lowest lows. Women are a plateau with few exceptions in either direction. I don't give a shit if Skylar was an accountant, there is no way she is 120 IQ.
>Walt
150 >Jesse
85 >Skylar
100 >Gus
140 >Saul
115 >Hank
120 >Marie
90
Mike >125
IQ tests are based primarily around pattern-recognition, mathematics, vocabulary, abstract reasoning and comprehension. Saul has the abstract reasoning down but he would simply not test well in pattern-recognition or mathematcs. Hank, meanwhile, has demonstrated in his professional and personal life to be highly proficient in pattern-recognition. >inb4 Hank took too long to figure out Walt was Heisenberg and is therefore low IQ >t. accredited psychologist who administers IQ tests fortnightly
>Hank does not really come across a smart guy during the show though. He seems kinda dumb
Hank doesn't have the same level of education as the other characters, but his profession has him analyse evidence daily for patterns. We see in his pursuit of Heisenberg his abstract reasoning proficiency. If Walt weren't someone known to him, Hank would have found him much faster. Reflect for a moment on how many times Walt sabotaged Hank; it was only his trust in Walt that allowed Walt to hide from him so well.
Hank figured Gus out all by himself, saw through the fake Heisenberg, cornered Walt while taping his confession. How on earth is Gus smarter?
>Hank figured Gus out all by himself, saw through the fake Heisenberg, cornered Walt while taping his confession. How on earth is Gus smarter?
125 is still very high, riding the edge of standard deviation only nets you 115. Hank's intelligent. Gus, however, built a fast food chain on its way to becoming an empire as a FRONT for ANOTHER empire behind-the-scenes. He had an exceptional mind which worked in tandem with extraordinary discipline. He was just as observant as Hank, but likely had a much higher grasp of other IQ metrics such as mathematics and vocabulary (and spoke multiple languages, also linked to higher IQ).
This. Hank is definitely above Gus, people rule him out because of his personality and brash nature. Gus is a fricking moron but he acts and talks like he isn't.
Yeah hank figured out gus. but only because of walt's shenanigans with gale and the scheming behind it. Gus had everything in control and is meticulous in removing evidence until walt came into picture
he only made that blunder because walt had gale killed and the police investigated it. Gus never saw that coming in a million years and hank only stumbled upon it
He certainly has low impulse control and also a distinct lack of foresight. However, I am basing my prediction of him scoring sub-100 on an IQ test on his demonstrated grasp of metrics most commonly tested, such as mathematics, vocabulary, and comprehension. Think about how many times Walt has to explain something to Jesse, then explain it again, then explain it a third time with some kind of visual aid. He's an unintelligent guy. Sit him in front of a standardised test and he is not going to score a 100.
Jesse is avarage IQ the least, he is just uneducated and a druggie
Jesse's smart, he just never tried in his education
You two seem to be discussing IQ potential, rather than IQ. IQ is malleable. Jesse sits around and gets high all day. His vocabulary sucks, and so does his knowledge of mathematics. When he's taken to a lab in Mexico he demonstrates his ability to make excellent meth, but only through repetition. He still doesn't know the names of any chemicals or even standard measuring practice - just that he needs to use half of the blue tub followed by a whole red container, etc.
Jesse, with training and an education, may raise his IQ. Through the series, however, he is decidely below-average.
IQ potential doesn't actually exist as a recognised term. I only use it in this context to highlight the fact that IQ is malleable and can change. You can call that whatever you like.
Same, I scored a 162 when I was 6
162 was as high as the score went for that test
I am afraid to find out what my score is as an adult
I was the same - I only got tested because it was part of the course when pursuing my own Psych degree. It was extremely disappointing when I learned I wasn't as intelligent as I thought.
I’ve been told it doesn’t change that much with age but whatever. I wouldn’t get tested again because I’m a loser with enough self-awareness to know that boasting about the magic reddit number is just cope, I only posted it itt to justify my opinion on mensa members that anon seemed to overestimate.
Absolutely does. Usually during your teens, and likely due to a combination of your education and natural development. But you can also dramatically change your IQ later in life through lifestyle improvements. For example, there was a case study of a man who dropped out of high school and did crystal meth until he was in his mid-thirties then got clean, got his high school diploma and an electrical engineering degree. Between his IQ test immediately following rehabilitation and a subsequent one after obtaining his degree about 4.5 years later, his IQ raised by 20 points.
In children, it's not uncommon to see a 15-point drop. However, if a child tests extremely high, it's likely to fall by much more than 15 (again, mine dropped by 50).
Walter is a genius he was the brains behind nobel peace prize research and he only lost out on a fortune because he was a poor cuck with an inferiority complex. 135 IQ only puts him in the top 2% of the population, he's likely closer to 150
richard feynman had an IQ of 125 and won a nobel price too. walt was just a compulsive liar. what exactly was so fricking genius about walt that he deserves a 150 fricking iq score? i dont see it
People who have absolutely no idea what IQ measures think it's just an INT score like in a roleplaying game, so naturally Walt must have a pretty high one like 150, maybe even 165. He's the Wizard of the Breaking Bad party, Jessie is a Thief, Saul is a Cleric. Mike is a fighter base class but has subclassed into many Hunter perks.
People in prison aren't all thieves and most of them are Black folk, I wouldn't say this is a very relevant statistic. Good thieves don't get caught either.

Inorganic. You get glimpses of articles of his work at Gray Matter and he was known for crystallography and he is credited for contributing to Nobel Prize winning research on molecular switches.
The starter questions are like that. Because it's teaching you the pattern. Not the pattern you are meant to recognize in that one single question, but the pattern of how the style of questions begin to change and trip you up. THAT's how your intelligence is measured. Whether you can extrapolate what you learned from the previous questions to the successive ones, and more importantly how quickly you can do so. This is why it's not acceptable to take an IQ test more than once in a certain period or to "study" for it. The test is meant to measure how quickly you can adapt to novel situations, not whether you can merely successfully answer a given question. Not following these constraints invalidates the test's ability to properly compare you to the average.

Jesse is at least 120. He's an incredibly quick learner when he's motivated and very quick on his feet. He probably just has ADHD and some personality disorder.
He was probably intended to be a tard in Season 1, but after the writers decided to not kill him off his characterization changed a lot.

IQ is a meme, I systematically land 127-132 in official tests (college, army, applying for government related jobs) and I'm pretty sure I'm stupid. Don't believe for a minute that the tests measure how smart you are
honestly i agree with you. Gus was so calculating and walt only got him with hector, his achilles, (achillies?) heel. Pure luck especially with the car bomb. Gus saw right through that and Walt got in a car without thinking everyday
I still think it was weird the way everyone called him Hank but at the end they revealed his name was Isaac. I guess he was israeli and "Hank" was just like his goyim name?
Chris Nolan co-wrote the episode. There was a whole subplot about Hank's body double and Hank was going to be alive but they did some rewrites and made the rednecks the final boss because Dean Norris couldn't afford the gas to keep driving to set everyday to film.

He looks way too young for a 90 yo, tf are you on about
90, yo
pretty sure he is just repeating Jesse's catch phrase not age, kek
go back
magnets, b***h
Walt and Gus are 150s-160s in the genius tier. Saul is lower 130s, Kim is upper 130s. Chuck is 140s. Mike is 120s. The rest are dummies
130-140 IQ is literal genius MENSA-tier, you fricking moron.
My IQ is 140 and I post here. 140 is not genius tier. I declined MENSA membership, because I don't want to pay their membership fees.
Posting here doesn't mean you aren't a genius
cope but true
>My IQ is 140 and I post here.
No you're not
>140 is not genius tier.
Yes it is.
>I declined MENSA membership, because I don't want to pay their membership fees
No you didn't.
You don't even know how to use a fricking comma properly lmao you're probably not even average IQ
Stay mad
>he thinks anyone cares that he lies on the internet
You're only lying to yourself, homosexual.
>MENSA
>anything else than a bunch of greasy fedora tipping redditors enlightened by their own intelligence
t.136, did the wais or wisc or whatever that shit’s called with a psychologist as a kid.
Same, I scored a 162 when I was 6
162 was as high as the score went for that test
I am afraid to find out what my score is as an adult
I’ve been told it doesn’t change that much with age but whatever. I wouldn’t get tested again because I’m a loser with enough self-awareness to know that boasting about the magic reddit number is just cope, I only posted it itt to justify my opinion on mensa members that anon seemed to overestimate.
>t.136, did the wais or wisc or whatever that shit’s called with a psychologist as a kid.
How does relate to the previous statement and why would having a mere 136 IQ as a child make you think you have any idea?
Frankly if you can’t answer these questions by yourself I’ll have to diagnose you with a bad case of low iq
No, I think you just don't understand how irrelevant a child IQ test is. Also you should explain how you 'know' MENSA is 'a bunch of greasy fedora tipping redditors enlightened by their own intelligence' when you're too low IQ to even be allowed in the same room as someone in MENSA.
Because of the yearly fee to be part of a smarty pants club with an absolutely shocking magazine, if they even still do that any more.
Why would someone try to gatekeep an organization he’s clearly too dumb to be a part of by spouting total bullshit on the internet is beyond me
I agree with a lot of these
>mah estimation
Mike: 115
Marie: 115
Hank: 110
James: 125
Gus: 135
Sky: 115
Jesse: 100
Walt: 160
>Marie: 115
seriously?
Again, 115 isn't very high, it is pretty average
My mom was 120 legit in her 20s and she still did stupid women stuff all the time
100 is average
nearly 69% of people are between 85-115, that is average, 115 is still average
100 is the average BY DEFINITION. The tests are revised to maintain 100 as the average score. If you don't understand that much, you have no business posting about IQ.
You're IQ is certainly in the 80's, know how I can tell?
>you're
AVERAGE isn't magically encompassed by one number on an IQ test
Like someone else already told you, 100 is baseline
The Average score is meant to be 100, yes
But what he is saying is Average IQ is a range, which it is.
Look at every IQ chart and you see most people fall with-in 85-115, that is the average IQ bracket
https://www.google.com/search?q=average+IQ+bracket&oq=average+IQ+bracket&aqs=chrome..69i57j33i160.3204j0j7&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8
You're not a genius at 105 or 115, you are still average
I don't think you know how normal distribution works.
I know how average IQ works though, it is literally how they rank IQ scores and have so for decades, it really isn't a matter of debate
Yes, 100 is the average. The center of the range 85-115. 115 is not The Average. Thank you for agreeing with me.
Yes, everyone here already knows this but that 100 score doesn't encompass all of what is considered average IQ
Not sure why that is hard to understand
Here is Standford-Binet's definition of average IQ
This seems like a way to make under hundies feel normal.
That's the baseline for the test. But actual average among people is about 110-115. Still, it doesn't say anything about your ability to do stupid stuff.
Jesse's smart, he just never tried in his education
He isn't as dumb as they make it out to be, he made high quality meth in a shady mexican lab and was smart enough to figure out Saul let Walt poison the Hispanic child. But he isn't anywhere near above average.
I disagree, he appears smart with a woeful lack of knowledge and emotional regulation. But what he does learn he seems very proficient in.
Walter is legitimately very smart Nobel prize for the chem thing and all. That doesn't mean he isn't an emotional character that makes bad decisions.
haha lmao that was meant for the other guy
Gus and Mike are cunning, not really smart. They wouldn't be in that line of business if they were smart
Gus is certainly smart, he is eloquent and educated
What the frick is the difference exactly?
Wrong. Gus' networth is over a billion. Also this
Gus is a sociopath, and most certainly not dumb. His IQ would probably be in the 140s-150s.
Walt is 160+. Jesse isn't portrayed as being dumb, either, even though he's a drug addict. Skylar's IQ would be in the 130s-140s.
t. knower
No way Walt is 135, he must be 150+
How the frick is Skylar 120 lol?
skylar 120 ... good larp
Walt - 140
Jessie - 100
Skylar - 110
Gus - 110
Saul - 100
Hank - 120
Marie - 90
Mike - 115
>Skylar - 110
>Marie - 90
lol no
Marie is dumb as brick, get over it.
She has the hottest ass I've ever seen
That's why it's fine if she's dumb
She doesn't have an ass
>Gus - 110
>Saul - 100
kek, come on on man
Gus isn’t smart, 110 is about right. Saul may be around 120 but he didn’t show it during during breaking bad.
Saul's ability to think on his feet is impressive, he clearly has a very fast processor up there but I am not sure how educated he is
It is said by Kim he studied really hard for the Bar and failed 2 times before passing
Education has nothing to do with intelligence
It has a lot to do with passing the Bar though, keep up
I don't think you need to be smart to do that either, just studious
I'd be more willling to believe that Jimmy is smart than studious
That's not true, it has a great deal to do with it. There's only so much raw talent can do for you without being honed. Twin studies alone prove this, if it weren't already obvious common sense. Education isn't just about acquiring explicit knowledge, it's about training the brain to think in diverse and fluid ways that allow one to more quickly adapt to future novel situations. It's the reason you were made to learn so many different things in school that you insisted you were "never going to use".. assuming you didn't go to a terrible school.
We're talking about education as in 'law school' vs education as in 'training and exercising your brain'
They're different things
Most of the shit you do in school doesn't exercise your brain very well
>Most of the shit you do in school doesn't exercise your brain very well
Maybe the shit YOU did didn't. I'm so sorry, public school mutt.
The shit you did in private school doesn't exercise your brain well either
There are few things more sadly comical than a low-IQ individual trying to tell a high-IQ individual that he isn't intelligent because the low-IQ individual is incapable of comprehending that there are levels of intellect beyond his own.
If you think about this for a while, you might begin to understand the irony of it. I'll wait while you catch up.
you are having an argument about nothing. A high iq individyayooal would realise that you need more information to deduce someones intelligence
I'm talking about schooling, I didn't say anything about your intelligence
But if you're conflating the two and thinking I'm insulting your intelligence, perhaps you aren't too bright
You said "Education has nothing to do with intelligence".
Does that strike you as a particularly intelligent thing to say? It's very indicative of low intellect binary thinking. You may elaborate if you wish, but I doubt you'll be able to provide much evidence to support your claim that "Education has nothing to do with intelligence".
Education doesn't have much to do with intelligence, in general
Not once did I say that YOU were stupid, although I am thinking it now
not the guy but schooling doesn't represent your intelligence at all.
>He's like the Kaiji of anime.
I thought Kaiji was the Kaiji of anime?
Giving Jesse 90 IQ despite him being the only few to live a comfy live after BB
This is stupid, Jesse would've died way earlier if his was 90's. There's also no way any one with a PHD in a had science has a measly IQ of 135. My IQ is literally 100-110 and both jesse and hank seem smarter than me.
How is Jimmy smarter than Hank?
Saul is definitely smarter than hank
I did the IQ test after I got diagnosed with schizophrenia. I never got the results. The doctor said the illness might effect my IQ. Maybe I didn't even do the test.
Maybe there was no doctor
He was a master manipulator, you usually need a high IQ to have that level of Dark Triad traits.
>master manipulator
He manipulated 60 IQ beaners and methheads, but that's not exactly a staggering intellectual accomplishment.
He manipulated everyone in his life, Hank, Jesse, Gus, Saul, Mike, etc.
>but most of his attempts to manipulate other people failed
For example?
>For example?
Lying to his wife
Trying to get Mike to kill Gus
They failed over time, sure, but I wouldn't call that a failure. She was suspicious and paranoid, and he lied to her for a long time before he was eventually found out.
A failure would be if he lied to Skylar and she caught him right away.
Most people don't manipulate with a huge and complex scheme in mind, they usually manipulate for short-term goals.
It's the willingness to manipulate others is often tied to personality traits that come with high intelligence, like psycopathy. It's why CEOs are overrepresented among the population.
Walt's lies were bad. Skyler knew he was lying about something but didn't really want to find out the turth. He was also terrible liar towards Hank, which I thought was a bit unrealistic, Hank given what he knew right from the very start Hank should have suspected Walt
He made it work with bad lies because he was good at manipulating them.
The only person Walt successfully manipulated in the show was Jesse
Everything else was his family falling for the most flimsy excuse possible
Making flimsy excuses work is the manipulation.
Hank being cro-magnon tier intellect at deciphering Walt's lies as a DEA agent was the most unintentionally realistic thing about the show.
>He made it work with bad lies because he was good at manipulating them.
lmao
He made it work with bad lies because the writing was bad.
>He made it work with bad lies because the writing was bad.
Well... sure, but you have to operate within the framework of the writing no matter what
when discussing characters and their behaviour like this.
Men don't see lies the way women do. My mom could always tell when dad was lying through his teeth.
Lots of people manipulate others, hell the average oedipal mother can manipulate everyone in her life and doesn't need a >100 IQ for it. This really does nothing to solidify Walt as some legendary "genius".
>He was a master manipulator
Walt was consistently depicted to be a terrible fricking liar, he hatched a few clever plans but most of his attempts to manipulate other people failed
The only person he could manipulate was Jesse, and Jesse was an idiot
The characters all act like morons because the writers are morons but its pretty clear hes meant to have a genius level intellect
>He died that way by choice
>Used meth as a bomb
>Eluded his DEA relative for years
>Killed 2 of his enemies via explosion
>Got a fricking PHD in Chemistry
it's implied he was key in winning that Nobel Prize
Mike isn't that intelligent, he's just wise due to life experience.
Look at the shape of his head, he must be smart
ENTER
215
You forgot Jack. The only dude who didn't give a shit about the drugs or ego, he just wanted money.
Why do people think Gus is smarter than Hank? Gus made blunders while Hank outwitted him and has excellent deductive skills in many instances.
lolnope
The lawyer might have a 109 but everyone else - a public scoolteacher, his wife, a fast foot franchise manager - is maybe 99. Maybe.
Walt = 250
He's the biggest GENIUS on the show, an actual GENIUS
Hank's a fricking moron. What is this?
>checkmates Walt, the 'genius' of the show
if it wasn't for the neo-nazi ex machina he would've won
I'm 2 IQ points higher than Walt, or I was when I had a proper IQ test 15 years ago.
>think?
stopped reading right there.
Now post the IQ of the average BB watcher
It was very popular with white people so I'd say slightly above 100?
100-105 midwits
I never really understood IQ tests. I'm terrible with patterns.
You missed the point.
Jessie ends up being a better chemist than Walt.
he was just a copy cat who memorized the procedure. a 90 IQ is absolutely capable of this
A woman having an IQ higher than average is almost as rare as a unicorn. There's a biological reason for this, as women are essentially a mating control group. Most genetic variation exists within men. Men have the highest highs and the lowest lows. Women are a plateau with few exceptions in either direction. I don't give a shit if Skylar was an accountant, there is no way she is 120 IQ.
>My IQ is 140 and I post here. 140 is not genius tier. I declined MENSA membership, because I don't want to pay their membership fees.
>an internet test said my IQ is 140-
It was a MENSA IQ test, they wanted me as a member, didn't tell me about their membership fees before the test. Keep seething though.
>they wanted me as a member,
>he expects anyone to believe MENSA is trying to recruit 140 IQ borderline morons
That's not how they work lmao
>Walt
150
>Jesse
85
>Skylar
100
>Gus
140
>Saul
115
>Hank
120
>Marie
90
Mike
>125
IQ tests are based primarily around pattern-recognition, mathematics, vocabulary, abstract reasoning and comprehension. Saul has the abstract reasoning down but he would simply not test well in pattern-recognition or mathematcs. Hank, meanwhile, has demonstrated in his professional and personal life to be highly proficient in pattern-recognition.
>inb4 Hank took too long to figure out Walt was Heisenberg and is therefore low IQ
>t. accredited psychologist who administers IQ tests fortnightly
Hank does not really come across a smart guy during the show though. He seems kinda dumb
125 is still very high, riding the edge of standard deviation only nets you 115. Hank's intelligent. Gus, however, built a fast food chain on its way to becoming an empire as a FRONT for ANOTHER empire behind-the-scenes. He had an exceptional mind which worked in tandem with extraordinary discipline. He was just as observant as Hank, but likely had a much higher grasp of other IQ metrics such as mathematics and vocabulary (and spoke multiple languages, also linked to higher IQ).
>125 is still very high
My bad, I was tossing up between 120 and 125 when I scored Hank.
Hank figured Gus out all by himself, saw through the fake Heisenberg, cornered Walt while taping his confession. How on earth is Gus smarter?
This. Hank is definitely above Gus, people rule him out because of his personality and brash nature. Gus is a fricking moron but he acts and talks like he isn't.
Yeah hank figured out gus. but only because of walt's shenanigans with gale and the scheming behind it. Gus had everything in control and is meticulous in removing evidence until walt came into picture
>because of walt's shenanigans
No, Gus made a blunder with his fingerprint, which he acknowledged.
he only made that blunder because walt had gale killed and the police investigated it. Gus never saw that coming in a million years and hank only stumbled upon it
>Gus never saw that coming in a million years
So he isn't that smart, cool.
my original point
Walt>Gus>Hank
Would you say Jesse's low impulse control is the biggest indicator of being sub-90? He does seem to have a few savvier moments.
IQ potential is IQ
IQ potential doesn't actually exist as a recognised term. I only use it in this context to highlight the fact that IQ is malleable and can change. You can call that whatever you like.
I was the same - I only got tested because it was part of the course when pursuing my own Psych degree. It was extremely disappointing when I learned I wasn't as intelligent as I thought.
135 IQ only puts him in the top 2% of the population, he's likely closer to 150
richard feynman had an IQ of 125 and won a nobel price too. walt was just a compulsive liar. what exactly was so fricking genius about walt that he deserves a 150 fricking iq score? i dont see it
the guy didnt even think to roll a barrel. nuff' said
>richard feynman had an IQ of 125
Imagine believing Feynman on this.
People who have absolutely no idea what IQ measures think it's just an INT score like in a roleplaying game, so naturally Walt must have a pretty high one like 150, maybe even 165. He's the Wizard of the Breaking Bad party, Jessie is a Thief, Saul is a Cleric. Mike is a fighter base class but has subclassed into many Hunter perks.
wouldn't a thief generally need pretty high intelligence?
Nope, they just minmax AGI for the crit bonus, but they lose all their modifiers if they're restrained. It's a tough class to play.
US Prison average IQ = 85
This just proves you have to be moronic to get caught by US cops
master thieves like danny ocean?
People in prison aren't all thieves and most of them are Black folk, I wouldn't say this is a very relevant statistic. Good thieves don't get caught either.
obvious shit sherlock. point was you dont need high iq to be a thief
If that was your post then you completely failed to make that point.
What kind of a chemist was Walt anyways?
He mastered all 5
Inorganic. You get glimpses of articles of his work at Gray Matter and he was known for crystallography and he is credited for contributing to Nobel Prize winning research on molecular switches.
>IQ """"tests""""
>literally every question is like this
LOL
>Genius (150+) tier

Jesse is at least 105
It was implied in the later seasons Jesse is smarter but never applied himself.
My Ranking Including BCS
>Walt 160+

>Skyler 110
>Hank 105
>Jesse 100
>Marie 100

Tuco was easily smarter than Jesse
Tuco was dumb as frick, he just had predatory instincts.
>Skinny Pete: 235
CHURCH!
Somali guy living in Canada here. My IQ was tested and found to be 115.
You're probably the smartest Somali to ever live
there are really smart people out there, but natural talent without training and dicipline means shit.
What's the average IQ of this thread?
Probably about 100, people are dumb and those with 100 are dumb
>Probably about 100
lower, I'd guess. that's the population average. but even assuming Cinemaphile represents a typical slice of the population, Cinemaphile is generally acknowledged to be the dumbest board by a fair margin.
That's definitely Cinemaphile but yeah Cinemaphile is low
Saul is far and away the smartest character out of all of them. You don't even need to watch his own show to know that.
he's such a weasally dumb butthole who takes too many risks like delivering lalo's money and a lot to do with the cartel. It come's across as some thrill seeking extreme sports guy in the lawyer world.
they're all midwits?
>Skylar that high
hmmmm
What his IQ, bros?
235, 240 when augmented with his spicy home cooking.
Literally unironically absolutely zero people here have any business bragging about IQ in any way shape or form as objectively 100% of you are failed-to-launch losers spending their time whiling away the virginal hours on an anonymous shitposting board and vainly trying to stroke their own egos in a way no actual accomplishment in life exists to do.
Truth missile.
thank god you're here to keep us in line
we're all flawed, but that doesn't make us dumb
Jesse is at least 120. He's an incredibly quick learner when he's motivated and very quick on his feet. He probably just has ADHD and some personality disorder.
He was probably intended to be a tard in Season 1, but after the writers decided to not kill him off his characterization changed a lot.
then they made him full emo over a druggo goth chick he barely knew.
seethe and cope homosexual, you'd go weak in the knees for any hoe that wanted to run away and live the rest of her life with you. Atleast until the money runs out
I would if I was an impressionable teen. Jesse was in his mid 20s.
IQ is a meme, I systematically land 127-132 in official tests (college, army, applying for government related jobs) and I'm pretty sure I'm stupid. Don't believe for a minute that the tests measure how smart you are
I'd bump up Walt to 150 and Jesse to 105. Sky and Marie are both 115. Lower Saul to 120.
Kim would probably be 140~, she IS made of sterner stuff.
This cannot and shall not be refuted.
this is pure cope for low IQ tards, Walt is at least 150, Jesse is a 120, the guy top right was 160
honestly i agree with you. Gus was so calculating and walt only got him with hector, his achilles, (achillies?) heel. Pure luck especially with the car bomb. Gus saw right through that and Walt got in a car without thinking everyday
This chart also works as DBZ type power levels like greater than / less than for who can kill who in BrBa also.
marie is dumb as a rock
they're called minerals
I still think it was weird the way everyone called him Hank but at the end they revealed his name was Isaac. I guess he was israeli and "Hank" was just like his goyim name?
Chris Nolan co-wrote the episode. There was a whole subplot about Hank's body double and Hank was going to be alive but they did some rewrites and made the rednecks the final boss because Dean Norris couldn't afford the gas to keep driving to set everyday to film.
When is BCS S6E9 airing bros?
Imagine the Saul theme popping up right when the webm ends.
sauce of vid?
that guy says you can't even see the brand anymore it healed perfectly
https://yourcountdown.to/better-call-saul
God I want a piece of that pizza.
Natural selection at work
>all those morons discussing IQ without realising that there are several ways of measuring IQ, some of them having 90-100 as the average and 130+ as genius, some 100-120 as the average and 160+ as genius etc, and that throwing random IQ scores without specifying in which system, is worth dogshit
Holy fricking giga cope
I honestly cannot believe that some of you are listing Mike higher than Saul...
what did skylar ever do that was intelligent?
Walt is a giga genius responsible for two different billions dollars buisness, he is legit one of the smartest people in the worl din the BB universe, he is 180+ IQ
>Walt
180
>Pinkman
83
>Skylar
98
>Gus
145
>Saul
111
>Hank
106
>Marie
99
>Mike
130
>Walt Jr.
49
I didn't watch breaking bad but sol is more intelligent than mike
did you make gus 5 iq points lower than walt because walt beat him?
that's brainlet tier thinking lol
IQ is not real
cope
It’s the most statistically valid psych test to predict general life outcome that’s around so. It’s certainly as real as any other statistic that has validity.
>skylar
>above 90
Walt: 150 at least
Jesse: 105
Skyler: 110
Gus: 130
Saul: 125
Hank: 100
Marie: 95
Mike: 120
Actual 143 IQ anon. Mensa is a moron organization and no one with an IQ of 130+ would care about mensa let alone 140, because its for fricking losers. I am a genius but that has little to do with my IQ and more to do with the fact that i am chosen
>Hank and b***h with over 100
No
Mike is way too high. Experience == intelligence
>tfw you rotted your brain with pot for over a decade and then became an alcoholic
I probably shaved a good 10 points off my IQ. I am back in school now for law and feel like king moron. Don't do drugs kids.
Skinny Pete = 145
All have an IQ around Black personish 75<>90
>skyler
>120
>mike
>125
lmoao skyler have around 100, 105 tops, mike may be around 110, but he has a LOT of experience, im kinda doubtful about gus and saul(mostly because BCS), but i can see it being true.
Jesse is 90(probably less) on drugs, he may be at least 105 clean.
Jesse’s is too low, hes smarter than he gets credit for
They are all too high.
Shrader is a 90 at best.
in reality none of them have over 105 iq
Reminder that Hank is the strongest character in the show.
>+130
Walt, Chuck, Old Joe, Jesse's little brother
>120-130
Gus, Gale, Saul, Hank, Kim, Howard, Lydia
>105-119
Skyler, Ted, Greek car wash guy, Huell, Badger, Nacho, Gomez
>90-104
Marie, Jesse
>50-89
Walt Jr, Bolsa, Don Eladio
>sub 50
Every Salamanca other than Lalo
>Old Joe
Midwits please leave. Knowing and citing your rights as a property and landowner is basic shit unless you're an absolutely cucked citizen. Old Joe did absolutely nothing intelligent besides understand the 4th ammendment and leave Skinny Pete's place when he detected the LoJack activating.
It's really amazing to me how much people seem to think that 130+ iq is a lot. It's really not and there are plenty of people like that out there. Why would Gus, Gale, Kim, and Howard be anything less than high 120s/130+? 150-160 is where the real genius starts. When it starts to get really weird. When you get people like Chuck/Walt who remember a book they read 20 years ago. 130 is nothing
Hank single-handedly figured out Gus was running a secret meth operation from a couple clues, he’s only slightly behind Walt and Gus
