Rumor is "Joe McGillicuddy" is a cover name for Zeke Stane, the son of Obadiah Stane, Jeff Bridges's character from IRON MAN.

I have no hopes for MCU but it would interesting to see if they get to portray Zeke as the posthuman nanoborg that he is.

Wokeism made me not too fond of black people. The more they're forced down are throats the more I grow to hate them and their handlers.

You know you can just say you're racist, right? Stop prettying it up. You don't care for black people and you don't want them in your Marvel slop. Say it.

No anon, this isn't about social issues. You are currently on one of the only platforms in the world where you can freely admit you are racist. I just want you to say it without sugar coating it. I am not bothered by racism.

          I'm a racist

          This anon gets it.

is it just me, or is there a fricking flood of jealousy being projected towards white accomplishment lately?
I mean, its always been intense, but now its like an assault, iron man and spider man can't even be heroes in their own right, now we need a non white non male version of them to steal their thunder
honestly, non white non straight non male fragility in a nutshell, just look at the 1619 project

It's not just you. But what you can you expect a race that hasn't accomplished anything to do? Go out and accomplish something? Too much work. Why should they do that when your accomplishments are right there, just waiting to be stolen and society will actively applaud them for doing it?

If we're talking about Black person coping mechanisms, can we talk about how Wakanda is simultaneously portrayed as this utopian bastion of progress and independence, but also self-demonstrably an extremely flawed government that never got said flaws addressed by the time T'challa randomly died? In fact his mother just doubled down on everything T'challa was trying to change while Shuri literally decided Killmonger was right.

It's fricking weird people lap this shit up, it's like they can't see past the heroic music playing when the movie ends and the sad music playing when the villain loses his life to realise they are applauding a society so lacking in self-awareness they call other nations "colonisers" when their culture was willing to kowtow to Killmonger for beating up the previous Black Panther in a fight.

The Boondocks is and always will be the most on point depiction of black culture. The problem isn't the black race as a whole, because there are plenty of african-american folks who want nothing to do with this bullshit. The problem is the Black folk letting the rest of them down by chimping out for anything that celebrates their victim complex.

I already know Ironheart is black from the fact that she's fricking black. Even the comics weren't dumb enough to do this. The question is not just why, but why now?

The suit is a fricking nightmare already. Badly rendered and poorly designed, the cornrows just make it funny

Either Marvel needed to fire Victoria Alonzo 10 minutes after she was hired as head of VFX or they seriously need to educate directors on how to operate to maximize the contribution of their VFX studios

Because an armored afro would be unaerodynamic.

I see what they were going for with the cornrow ridges, but I’m not sure it meshes with the rest of the design. Looks sort of like gothic armor fluting.

I know the point is kinda moot, because villains in female-led capeshit exist only to be made into jokes and easily defeated for the sake of a YASS QUEEN moment, but isn't someone like The Hood way too underpowered to face off against a human-shaped tank? Him being a threat to someone like Tigra in the comics was already feeling like jobbing of the highest degree.

    >Charming teenage super genius Riri Williams
The use of the word charming here annoys me for some reason.
I think it's because it's so subjective that it feels like the writer is trying to tell their opinions to me, instead of just giving me a quick plot synopsis.

It's not even like Ironheart was particularly obnoxious in BP2, definitely not compared to Shuri and her mom. I genuinely don't even remember her having a personality at all, she was treated as basically a macguffin.

It's not jealousy. It's corporate marketing teams desperate to grow their consumer demographics by any means necessary. It's this decade's equivalent of '90s xtreme cool kid branding.
