I actually liked most of the romance episodes and found it cool how Marge chose her career over Mordo, with CJ then returning and growing arguably closer to him than Marge ever had (meeting his parents was a huge step). I enjoyed this ongoing subplot up until the Christmas episode that brought back Marge and made Mordecai lose any ounce of common sense. THAT'S when it went to shit.
I am once again here to say the Mordecai x Margaret x CJ romance arc may be one of the most botched plotlines in Cartoon Network history.
I have yet to think of any that top it in terms of cringe.

No, the entire love triangle was complete ass as a storyline. Rigby becoming better as a person and more Eileen just barely saved it.
