ADHD is a real disfunction that needs serious medical care to deal with. If you've seen it once you'll know instantly its ADHD and never doubt its existance again, because it is really severe.
HOWEVER 99% of kids diagnosed with "adhd" are just boys that dont like school and are given pills to be quiet on class OR kids with shitty parents lashing out. ADD is a complete meme that honestly just means you have a normal human reaction to doing mindnumbing bullshit for hours.
The rule of thumb is this: if you cant tell within 30 seconds that someone has adhd, he doenst have adhd. Same for autism

ADHD people would be much happier and useful in premodern times working fields and tending to livestock. On the other end, Autism is suited to our atomized knowledge based economy so it is being genetically selected for. ADHD is a genetic relic that is dying out from the gene pool and Autism is ascendant. Imagine nerdy autists like Bill Gates or Zuckerberg in the 1400s. Zoomies probably don’t remember, but there was a massive wave of kids getting the diagnosis back then and it was the Hot New Thing for psychs. It’s a real mental problem (actual ADHD people are blatantly dysfunctional frickers, not just “I sometimes get bored at work”) but it was also over-diagnosed like crazy for a while.
