oh yeah, I forgot about this, it's gonna be Toei, right? You think they'll give it the one piece treatment or at least animate it as well as Digimon Ghost Game?
>Gaina
It will probably be shit in that case, Gaina is supposedly some remnant of Gainax but everything they've made so far is shit >Pic related
and it will DEFINITELY have incomprehensible shit writing
I was that anon! Two month later update, the only kits not sold are one Nyuren and the Shion. Every other bot and the vehicles? Sold. Most non-gundam plamo kits get sold off the shelves. I know this because I bought an HG Kampfer from that store earlier today (and frick this heat dome).
>store on the good side of town
Shut down like everything else due to economic downturn. Inflation really eats into rural regions. >Hobby Lobby
A frickload of boats and planes sold since the last time I was there, entire plamo section shrunk with all the same gunpla. Star Wars and Transformers kits outnumber gunpla, only new things are from last year's Battlogue. The Hlio Gundam that was there for a while I also bought. >Target
Only things there were an entry grade Nu Gundam and an RG Wing Zero. Very little gunpla in general, more for figures. >Bad side of town store
AKA where I bought the Kampfer. Business was booming. A lot more weapon based kits including an AMAIM weapon set. I think the MG Dynames sold and some new Zoids kits showed up. Defintely less variety although the two ZZ Gundam HGs and Hix and Penelope are still there. Also a pair of PG Unicorns that weren't there last I checked and a The O HG. >Barnes and Noble
No clue and I'm not driving all the way over there if there's nothing I want to see playing. Last Voyage of The Demeter was fricking awesome if you like horror movies like I do.

Because it's my money and I think Helios is neat. Also when building HG Strike Freedom the yellow V Fin snapped in two after being unabyto stay the frick on. And if fell apart too easily. Kinda pissed and hoping building this will resolve that.
I thought mecha fans only cared about whether or not the mech was cool? It seems on par with the other mechs, and has uniqueness in wielding a spear.
Shion wasn't mecha. Interesting to note she has the same VA as the main heroine from G-Witch.

Anything with G-Witch? I'm curious.

One Aerial in a Target in a different county than mine and bad side of town might have had a Beguir-Beu. Otherwise the Mercury Witch never reached this area. Wouldn't be surprised, this area is heavily republican, culture war shit is a driving factor around here.

It took over a year for Battlogue kits to come over here, but given G-Witch's woke reputation I can't rule out stores not buying anything from it. Economy has been in decline for a good decade, the hobby shops can't afford to lose customers and gunpla shelf warms almost as hard as cars

If I had to take a stab at the dark I guess it would be because model cars have more pieces and require more energy than boats and planes. You can find model cars in the toy sections of bigger drug stores. I never see them sell, maybe they do sell and they restock fast? Dunno.
One of the things I don't like about their designs is that they're too geometric. Smooth shapes can be hard to draw, I get that, but it's one straight line after another without any striking circles or curves. It's like they're made out of legos, but even then legos had slopes and curved peices too.
Plus, Bandai is diving right into design incest territory with how their new frontrunner mech for AMAIM looks like the 30-minute Missions Foresteri mech with slightly more details. It's good looking (and I might get it later) but it's making me wonder who made the design first -- AMAIM or 30-minutes? If AMAIM was first, that's all right, 30-minutes is supposed to be the lookalike line you kitbash with. But if 30-minutes was first, that might be a sign that Bandai doesn't have enough designers to make any mech feel unique or they don't have that much confidence in newer designers to let them go ham on making new mechs.
I blame Ebikawa for Proto Gouyo looking like 30MM, his design can be samey across work.
But also Bandai for selling all of those equipment and cross compatibility with 30MM parts.
Bandai has been focused so much on kit bashing that it's finally bear a fruit ever since the introduction of universal 3mm during 1st build fighter
No. This is the next big thing for mecha anime

room temp takes
I have faith in Fukuda carrying Okouchi
I wish Getter was extremely beloved by a country full of rich people to get something like this.
Maybe then, Arc would've been a beautiful work of art
I still can't believe the Saudis are the ones actually saving mecha.
Thanks, Saudis.
They aren’t though. Gaina, Fukuda and Okuichi is a shit show waiting to happen.

Frick off tourist.
Not with the limited episode runtime
if by thing you mean flop, then sure
How well did the series do in terms of kits? you know ignoring the shelf warming Shion?(the girl) figure.
all the kits were shelf-warming not just shion
Sad, but expected
I don't believe it, how can the Boomerangs not fly off the shelf?
They supposedly sold well in a Great Lakes state, one anon back in July was even posting pics.
That's good to hear

if that's so, why won't HLJ let me buy 20 jo-hounds right now?
Season 1 had potential if it wasn't for the stupid AI baby mascots for babies.
They were childish, not babies, we see Gai as a baby in the last episode.
They were the best parts of the series
The new Zegapain will be the next big thing
Why didn't the Shion kits sell well?
Would you fap to that?

Character design and personality not standing out at all
Is there a name for these kind of shots with all the gear laid out? I love it.
Full weapon(s) load out
I'm accepting that term
US blu-ray for the main series comes out tomorrow, you anons buying?
Getting it for my nephew and niece for Christmas.
I hope your nephew and niece likes it
Thanks! Also got a few HGs if they want to get into modeling. If not I'll snapfit them together.
Jesus Christ do you hate them?
At least it's better than getting them into Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.
you could also show them Gundam AGE if you insist on a bad show you fricking idiot
Age was better than G-Witch, at least it was entertaining most of the time.
if you call b***hing complaining
It's kid friendly and it's action packed, what's the big deal?
Also this.
