FNAF was unique when it first came out. It's not its fault it ended up creating a whole subgenre of scamartist trying to follow cheap trends.
Nothing about this is unique or intresting. It's as bland as bland can be. Even the forced inclusion of a "deep lore" is just a far and above worse version of Kirby lore which already did the "what if cute Sanrio charcters were eldritch beings" back in the 90's.
It's unique because it's the only cartoon where none of the characters is straight, they are all confirmed to be LGBT

Frick no, and it's actually insulting you'd even compare the two. FNAF was an anomaly when it came out. The person behind that game had no expectations for it to do well, and why would he? His last game got trashed by internet critics looking for an easy target, and his kickstarter for FNAF1 got a whopping zero dollars. He threw out one last literal hail mary before quitting the industry entirely, and in what can only be described as divine intervention, FNAF succeeded despite all odds. FNAF was humble game with a surprising amount to bring to the table, and people resonated with that.
Meanwhile Chikin Nugget was corporate sludge from day 1. It was backed by Buzzfeed and forced down everyone's throats, with the content being scientifically engineered to pander to the lowest common demoninator possible. It is the textbook definition of soulless content, and its popularity is entirely artificial. It's agonizingly vapid and shallow, with anything said being carefully calculated behind the scenes to bring in the most twitter likes and nothing more. Nuggit was born with a silver spoon in its mouth, and it shows.
Chikn Nuggit is an indie passion project, it's not corporate shit.
