I cant help but feel like CYE it is just LD trying to recreate a more modern version of Seinfeld but putting himself in front of the camera because he regretted not acting in one of the best (if not THE best) comedy of all time
Early curb is pretty based. >larry dropping moron >throwing money at a gnomish funeral to make a quick escape >larry becoming a christian and instantly becoming a tradcon
Cant think of anymore
I tried watching this show and I thought it sucked. Every set up was the same. Larry doesn't "get" something and him and some other character start arguing. Larry rants about how 'x' is stupid and the other character argues for the normal attitudes people have about 'x' and why we do it and Larry just goes "ok whatever, I just think it's stupid, ok? Sue me!"
It's actually not bad, it's just the same God damn thing in every episode. If you watch curb the way it was supposed to be watched, one episode every once in a while, it's probably ok, but try to marathon it and you'll see the formula. Every episode has that "Larry doesn't get something and thinks its stupid and argues with someone about it in an overlong way" trope.

The first seasons are slow paced and they have a couple of funny episodes. But from season 5-6 and onwards it's kino comedy. My favorite episodes are The Black Swan, The Rat Dog and Flowers for Algernon. Seasons 8 and 9 are peak comedy. It's a shame a lot of people got filtered by this show. Maybe they prefer The Big Bang Theory, Rick and Morty kind of humor.
Regardless of how David feels about you, this show is a warning to the entire world about the true nature of the Los Angeles ~~*entertainment elite*~~ and theres no way he isn't doing it on purpose.
Curb is all the shitty stories that didn't make it into Seinfeld. You lose track of how many times Larry has to go to a dinner party or some fundraiser
Probably season 6 but just watch it in order for the lore. Its one of my favorite sitcoms. People who are bored by curb worry me.
1, 2, 3
seasons 4-6 are boring
seasons 7-11 are OK
>4-6 are boring but 10 and 11 are okay
Horrible taste
spoken like a retarded tripfag
there's never enough said about just how much curb changed over time. seems to have had 3 phases >1st
full-blown mockumentary, fairly realistic, built around extreme awkwardness >2nd
bit more like a sitcom, we get recurring situations like susie going mental >3rd
celebrity jerk-off with a different cameo every week and larry getting endless pussy
You'll go in, he'll be up there, you're down here. Right? He's on top, he's asking you the questions. Then all of a sudden the interview starts, he asks you some questions, you answer some questions ... then you start asking him the questions, and you flip it. Now he's trying to impress you.

why the fuck do you people choose to write the name of a stupid website as a replacemente of more suitable words? what the fuck. Some years in the future you will only cimmunicate through memes and templates, fucking piece of shit, speak in fucking english.
Ask if it's good here on Cinemaphile(nel). Judge by the responses:
Everyone likes it = It sucks.
Everyone Hates it = No one has actually seen it.
40 to 60% hate it, others like it = It's kino
Both.
just boring

which are the best seasons of the show?
Probably season 6 but just watch it in order for the lore. Its one of my favorite sitcoms. People who are bored by curb worry me.
Just start with season 2 and roll with it
What don't you love about season 1?
anon just watch season 2 god damn, I don't necessarily not like season 1, it's also good
1, 2, 3
seasons 4-6 are boring
seasons 7-11 are OK

newer Curb is alright but older Curb is exceptionally kino
Gots to eat the pussy larry

Can't believe larry got away with ripping this gag off of pilkers
Larry David is literally me. I'm even a garden gnome!
Original seasons by Larry Charles and Robert E Weide were kino. Jeff Schaffer stuff is goyslop.
Agree
>DUDE PEOPLE LIKE MISUNDERSTAND ME ALL THE TIME
what do you think retard?
Curb is just Seinfeld but with more self-congratulatory showbiz/Hollywood bullshit
yep see
Had to stop watching it because it made me uncomfortable. Same thing with Peep Show.
I enjoyed the first couple of seasons I guess
>Larry sees chud frankendick
>he thinks it's cool
Has there ever been a more out of character moment in the entire show?
he was just being supportive, iirc he knew her since she was a kid so it's not about trannies being cool but about not dunking on a kid you know
That excuse would fly if it was literally any other show. Larry should've been tripping about that neo dick.
old curb was awesome new curb feels like you have to be a rich garden gnome living in California to enjoy

its difficult for me to look past the fact that the creators despise me
Regardless of how David feels about you, this show is a warning to the entire world about the true nature of the Los Angeles ~~*entertainment elite*~~ and theres no way he isn't doing it on purpose.
I watched it backwards and it's funny
I found it very boring
>old garden gnome acts awkward in social situations, repeat
More like
>jaded subhuman can't fit into normie norms
and this is why both reddit and /tv like it
It's based and redpilled. I agree with Larry on a lot of things.
What's going to happen when pic related buys the farm? Will he also go on an indefinite trip to China?
he's immortal, you don't have to worry
Any show which needs celeb guests on it to generate interest has been dead for a number of seasons.
>LARRY I’M YELLING AT YOU
ppl itt who dislike curb are retarded, but that goes without saying
Every time I try to watch it I get halted at s1e3. I don't know if I can't watch it because I'm neurotic and it's like watching myself or what
Curb is all the shitty stories that didn't make it into Seinfeld. You lose track of how many times Larry has to go to a dinner party or some fundraiser
It's based and was funny before Larry got too old
curb s1-9 is Cinemaphile
curb 10+ is reddit
curb is too predictable, too contrived and less risky now
there's never enough said about just how much curb changed over time. seems to have had 3 phases

Pretty accurate break down. The introduction of Leon is definitely where it gets super sitcomy
Never watched an episode of it but I was in a few episodes. Is it any good?
Unless you have a problem with live studio audiences, it's just a worse version of Seinfeld imo
they're all pretty good except the ones you were in
You'll go in, he'll be up there, you're down here. Right? He's on top, he's asking you the questions. Then all of a sudden the interview starts, he asks you some questions, you answer some questions ... then you start asking him the questions, and you flip it. Now he's trying to impress you.
last few seasons sucked but everything else is pretty pretty pretty good
Is this Larry's best work?
definitely the best thing he's done in the last decade
i dont like watching garden gnomes sniff their own farts

This show is like a constant build up to a joke and no punchline ever.
can he fix Argentina?
>Pees on Jesus
Nothin personnel, goyim
