Odo and the changelings/dominion war were referenced in Picard S3 and the next episode of STD has them going to the Badlands, and Im sure it's going to be disappointing shit because STD is a garbo show.
I just wanted to know what happened to my favorite star trek characters from my favorite star trek show. It seems like all the other spin offs are getting referenced but they seem devoid of any DS9
iirc as of S3 Picard Odo was still with the Founders in some capacity and in contact with Worf, and Worf for some reason rapidly aged and became somekind of Starfleet Intelligence officer.

Felix may have programmed him to die eventually, or it may just be that he's been running so long that his program is breaking down, like happened to The Doctor in VOY:The Swarm
Have Jem'Hadar been in nutrek in any way shape or form? The Picard changelings had like weird goons but I don't think they were supposed to be Jem'Hadar.
NuTrek is all about what people remember about Star Trek though second hand cultural references. SO TOS is the biggest because of Kirk and Spock, then you have Picard and the Borg, then Seven because she's all what people remember about Voyager. People generally don't remember DS9 at all despite it being one of the most popular among Trek fans.
There's 5 classic Star Trek shows. TOS, TNG, DS9, VOY and ENT. People generally see TOS as an oddity of the 60s and don't think too highly of VOY or ENT. TNG is the most popular in most people's minds, so that leaves DS9 as the second most popular. Some people even believe it rivals or is even greater than TNG.
Ds9 ain’t Trek. Never was. It was Ira Behr’s middle finger to Roddenberry. Real fans recognized it at the time. And we still do too. Enterprise was revealed to be just a Riker holodeck program. That leaves Star Trek, TNG and Voyager. That is it. Everything else is Targ crap, fanfic or propaganda. And perhaps all three.
There's different kinds of fans. I never watched DS9 all the way through because when I was younger I found it to be boring, but I'd be willing to give it a shot now. I just talk to various people with varying interests in Star Trek and people generally think pretty highly of it. I'm not sure what "real fans" mean with Star Trek anymore anyway. There's people who like just one or two shows. There's people who just like nuTrek and there's people who like all of it regardless of quality because they just love Star Trek that much.
> It's another Jake and Sisko episode.
I'm glad it's buried. Outside of Dukat, this show was rancid garbage, like holy shit. And look at what they did to Worf. What a shitty, horrible and boring show.
DS9, Kira, and Quark appear in an episode of Lower Decks. Martok's voice does too, but it's an in-universe ad. In a later episode of Lower Decks, Rom and Leeta appear as co-Naguses.
Picard Season 3 heavily references the Dominion War. Like, two-thirds of the plot rely on you knowing that shit.
>Rom and Leeta appear as co-Naguses
A bajoran dabo girl, as one of the most powerful people in ferenghi society? Does that mean, if Rom died, she would be the sole Nagus? What a fricking joke...
Ds9 happened almost ENTIRELY in either the boonies (even after bajor joined the feds they'd still be on the outskirts) or the literal opposite end of the galaxy. There's not a lot there to revisit.
[to the tune of "Gilligan's Island"]
Because I could not stop for Death,
He kindly stopped for me;
The carriage held but just ourselves
And Immortality.
We slowly drove, he knew no haste,
And I had put away
My labor, and my leisure too,
For his civility.
We passed the school where children played,
Their lessons scarcely done;
We passed the fields of gazing grain,
We passed the setting sun.
We paused before a house that seemed
A swelling of the ground;
The roof was scarcely visible,
The cornice but a mound.
Since then 'tis centuries; but each
Feels shorter than the day
I first surmised the horses' heads
Were toward eternity

You where correct.

How can a hologram be dying?
Felix may have programmed him to die eventually, or it may just be that he's been running so long that his program is breaking down, like happened to The Doctor in VOY:The Swarm
Why? What's wrong with it? It didn't seem that bad?
Quark turned his bar into a galaxywide franchise. You can see Quark's in Picard and Lower Decks.
Have Jem'Hadar been in nutrek in any way shape or form? The Picard changelings had like weird goons but I don't think they were supposed to be Jem'Hadar.
Lower Decks had Kira and Quark and at least on DS9 episode so you could check there, but I havent watched Lower Decks.
they were genocided by overlord odo
Why didn't we get a DS9 movie?
Not as popular as TNG or TOS. Format is not ideal for a movie compared to TNG they can just do a episode of the week format.
story was good but all the good actors were not the leads (Dukat, Garak, Quark)
Also no true hotties
Basically it was doomed to get rekt
>Also no true hotties
Black person what? Compared to who, Grandma Crusher and Troi Queen of Push-Up Bras?
>Also no true hotties
The frick are you smoking? Nana Visitor, Terry Farrell, and Nicole de Boer were all hot as frick.
Because it's boring
Jake lookin zesty

Holy beyond filtered
From all my time on this site the term "filtered" just means having actual taste...
The last 12 hours since you came over from reddit?

>Rom and Leeta appear as co-Naguses

If it works like most monarchies on Earth, she was Nagus Consort, which means she would be a Dowager Nagus with no real power if Rom died.
Frick nu trek. That shit dont matter.
Right DS9 is from 1995 I don't think the term "nu" applies.
DS9 invented section 31 so yeah.

The Dominion War was massive, it even reached Earth
I can't remember but what happened to earth?
The Breen joined the war on The Dominion's side, and they announced that by attacking Starfleet HQ
The Breen (dominion allies) blew up starfleet HQ but otherwise did basically no damage and all died and it never comes up again or has any consequence
Why are star trek fans so angry?
