But like isn't the simpsons supposed to be an exaggerated real world at most? Not everything has to be a balls to the wall wacky slapstick fest.
Meanwhile, a lot of beanmouth cartoons want to be partly action cartoons but can't animate well enough to do action well, whereas simpsons have pretty neat fight scenes whenever they do pop up most of the time.
If anything, Beanmouth animation is a severe devolution from the Simpsons, which makes it worse because Simpsons was already a heavily simplified art style that was meant for ease of animation.
