fyi, there's no archeological record of israelites being slaves in Egypt. They made the whole thing up. Really puts the part where the angel of death kills the first-born baby boy of each Egyptian family into perspective, doesn't it?
I did talk about the movie. I just didn't talk about it the way you want all the anons on here to talk about it. You're the one having an extreme mental break down over it
no I get it, you’re just gonna carry your insufferable obsession with this topic into any thread that slightly mentions it and then get upset if people don’t want to hear you cry about it for hours. go ahead, i’ll just ignore you gays.

I feel betrayed. I watched this movie as a kid and I remember strongly identifying with the plight of the israeli slaves. The only part of the story that's true is their insane genocidal ideation. Which they probably project onto every civilization.
You don't need to freak out because someone expressed an opinion you don't like but don't have any counterpoint to

they’re movies. look at all the medieval hollywood stuff that portrays the era as some apocalyptic hellscape. that shit is a complete lie but it colours everyone’s views of the period
Politics obsessed people will never comprehend it when you say this to them. If you’re pissed off with their constant screeching that means you’re on the “enemy” team.

There's no historical evidence of God's existence either.
>box office. people wanted to see movies like the french connection and taxi driver instead.
Plus Cecil B. DeMille died, and no one in Hollywood could replace him.
Technically, it's a Passover movie. Given that Passover usually coincides with Easter, I'll have to say Easter.

easter
it’s a movie, no need to throw a tantrum
looks like I hit a nerve
no i’m just sick of every thread about something tangentially religious turning into some reddit debate. just talk about the movie for once

Is that le heckin' director of Best Picture Winner "Everything Everywhere All At Once"?
I hate the movie geek era so goddamn much.
yes anon they had wooden doors on the pyramids it just makes no sense.
it has nothing to do with christmas. No religious person would ever even ask this question, let alone anyone that has actually even seen the film.
it's old testament it predates christmas and easter by thousands of years
>when he throws the tablets and it breaks the ground in half
Kino

Why did these sorts of movies stop getting made?
box office. people wanted to see movies like the french connection and taxi driver instead.

DeMille died. His contemporaries tried but few succeeded.
