shit was wild before DNA and cameras everywhere, you could just about murder anyone who isn't your neighbor and get away with it.
Zodiac would have been hard to capture in any era. Wore a mask or entire body outfit that covers him? attacking at night time in secluded rural areas? People just thought the gunshots were fireworks or cars making noises. that would make it hard.
Also he didn't rape any victims or kill them in an intimate way, so little or NO DNA left behind. Catching Golden State Killer was easier because he raped all the victims and left his semen everywhere.
It's good. Most of Fincher's films are. But the theory presented in the movie about who the killer is is unlikely. He will truly never be found and it wasn't that guy.
It didn't suggest it was Allen. It just showed Jake's character, who's already slightly unhinged, was convinced it was him, and that Allen was the best suspect they had.
Not as easy as you think. The majority of serial killers uses to get caught even pre-internet. But some guys like Zodiac were just too slick for law enforcement.
Nope. It is a film.
I don't know. I haven't seen it.
I liked it a lot
Nobody knows.
It stars Jake Gualenhammer, I know that.
Yeah, one of my favorite movies of the 2000's.
After reading a little about the case, you couldn't hope for a better movie about it.
No, just watch SE7EN
If you already know about the head in the box, why bother?
>the head
I thought it was his wife's dick though
it is still a good film regardless
I think Zodiac is better

still got away with it for four decades

think Prisoners but good
*bad
try and make a decent film Denis, just for once
>3 israeli main actors
must be shit
Ruffalo isn't israeli
Might be fincher's best.
that scene in the guys basement scared the shit out of me
If it was, I certainly wouldn’t tell you.
heh
Bane?

He wasn't slick. He narrowly escaped getting caught after the last (Stine) murder. That freaked him out and he became a letter-to-the-editor writer.
The craziest thing is the never caught the guy haha. He must be some kind of genius.
>movie set in late 60s about serial killer
>hurdy gurdy man by Donovan starts playing
what a garbage movie
probably the scariest movie ever because of the implications
For me, it was frightening to learn that not many people have basements in California.
Why? he killed 5 people maximum in the late 60s/early 70s. The added mystique is just because of the letters.
Best serial killer movie of all time
One of the greatest movies of the 21st century
Easily the most overrated Fincher joint
I like it. In fact I've searched for "films/tv shows like Zodiac" more than once.
Boring movie about a boring killer.
Should have made one about Night Stalker or BTK.
>muh torture and gore
BTK was a moronic dork. Very tryhard too. "Factor X," lol. And wrote awful poetry and begged the press to make him front page news.
I watch it only for the pre-hippy, pozzed San Francisco atmosphere.
Pawaowaowaowao
Pawoawoawoawo
Paopaopawawapaoooo
It’s good but the documentaries and books are better you can’t fit the story in a 3 hour film and truth is stranger than fiction
really long but i thought it was alright
It didn't need to be as long as it was
I really like it, mainly because of the music and atmosphere. It's a great period piece, very stylized but feels authentic at the same time.
